This Blog is for people who wish to learn how to use a very simple, yet powerful and effective spiritual tool every day the rest of your life.  It will lessen the stress and fear of life in general, and will make your life easier.  It’s so simple a lot of people say “It can’t be this easy,” but it is, because IT WORKS!

This reconnects you with your Guardian Angel, or higher power, or whatever your belief is.  You simply say, “I request a Most Benevolent Outcome for… thank you!”  When you read the stories below, sent from all over the world, we use the acronyms MBO for Most Benevolent Outcomes, GA for Guardian Angel, and BP for Benevolent Prayers (what you ask for other people).   My website is http://www.thegentlewaybook.com/index.htm

SPECIAL NOTE:

Telepathic-World-BannerMy TV series, THE TELEPATHIC WORLD OF TOM T. MOORE, is now on the new ROKU channel EPTV (stands for Extraordinary Phenomena TV). Check it out if you are a Roku box owner!

Would you PLEASE write a review for any of my books that you own on Amazon, Goodreads, or anywhere else you purchased the book? I would appreciate your support!! As I don’t charge for these newsletters, this is one thing you can do for me.

My new book, “ATLANTIS & LEMURIA—The Lost Continents Revealed!” is PERFECT to learn about our ancient history going back 10 million Atlantis_Cover_ONLY_for_Tom[1]years! You can buy it on Amazon, and the other online retailers, as an ebook or in printed version. On Amazon, here is the link: http://tinyurl.com/nhhd4fo. For those of you buying the book, I would appreciate it if you would write a review. I only have 16 so far (all five stars) and need more!! This helps others who are undecided since they may never have heard of me or my other books before. Amazon and Goodreads seem to be the most visited.

You can read SAMPLE CHAPTERS of all the books at http://www.thegentlewaybook.com/chapters.htm.

Be sure to participate when I ask you to say a Benevolent Prayer out loud, but are you also saying the Daily BP each morning as I do?  Theo says this is one of the most important things you could do for yourself not only for this life, but all the others you have lived or will live on earth, as they are all happening at the same time.  Print it out and put it on your bathroom mirror to remind you.  Here is the link: http://www.thegentlewaybook.com/signs.htm.  Here is an example of a BP for everyone to say today: “I ask any and all beings to intervene in the most benevolent way to stop any terrorist attacks before they happen anywhere in the world, to respect other religions, and for there to be peace in the world, thank you!”

MBO FOR SHORT SECURITY LINE

Laurie writes:  The insane TSA backup at Chicago/O’Hare that was in the news recently (5/15/16) reminded me of the miraculous MBO that I experienced on a recent trip to New York City. I requested an MBO for “an extremely short or non-existent wait in line at the TSA at the airport” for my return trip through LaGuardia Airport (a major New York airport). I used this wording without thinking about it because I always say it for MBOs about a short wait in checkout lines at my local stores!  Well, I got a non-existent line at the TSA checkpoint at LaGuardia Airport! Even though it was noon on a Sunday, there were no other passengers or travelers, just me. I didn’t even have to go through that Beam-Me-Up-Scotty scanner! It all went so fast that I didn’t even remember my MBO request and realize it had been granted until I was walking toward my gate. Wow!

MBO FOR RETURN TRIP FROM MICHIGAN

Daralyn writes:  This incident occurred a couple of years ago, but I never got around to telling you about it (I think I was too in shock, or it might sound too outrageous.) Each summer since I moved to Texas in 2006, I have driven back to Michigan, about a 3,000 mile round trip, to visit friends and family for a week. Since I learned about MBO’s from your Gentle Way book and in your column in the Sedona magazine, I always requested an MBO for a safe journey before leaving home.

On this particular trip, during the return segment driving through Louisiana, I noticed while removing CD’s that the dashboard felt unusually hot. I attributed this to the fact that it was hot outside, about 97 degrees, even though that was not a logical connection. When I crossed the state border into Texas, the “check engine” indicator light came on. I was not surprised, because it does that as a matter of course when I am 500 miles from a scheduled oil change, which I was. I made it home safely and the next day took the car in to the dealer for maintenance.

Imagine my surprise when I got a call from the mechanic telling me that not only was the radiator empty of coolant, but that the reservoir was empty too. By all rights I should have had an engine meltdown in the middle of a hot “Nowhere!” Thank you, Angels, thank you, thank you, thank you! Tom, I do believe we can’t afford NOT to say MBO’s. Thank you for all you do.

MBO FOR TRIP TO ST. THOMAS & BAD IPHONE

Bob writes from north of Seattle:  My husband, a friend and myself spent two weeks on the US Virgin Islands.

We had barely been on the airplane to leave from Seattle when my husband began to complain that his iPhone was acting odd.  Kept saying that the charging wires were not compatible to the device, or that he had his earplugs attached when he didn’t, etc.  By the third day on the island, we were buying new charging wires because nothing would charge his phone properly.  By day twelve of fourteen, his phone was totally dead and nothing would charge it.  We both said MBO’s hoping to find a fix or at least resolve the issue quickly.  We arrived home last night and first thing this morning, we were off to the phone store.  They agreed he had a problem, looked up our contract, and insurance covers everything and he will have a new phone on Monday or Tuesday..a one or two day turnaround for something we thought would be much longer and costly.

When we left St. Thomas yesterday morning, we flew on a small commuter airline to San Juan, Puerto Rico to catch our flight to New York and then connect to Seattle.  As we were sitting on the commuter plane, we happened to look down on the tarmac as they closed the cabin doors so we could leave, when we noticed all of our luggage was sitting in the luggage carts, unloaded on the airplane.  When we questioned it, we were told that the combined luggage of twenty people was too heavy, so it would follow later.  So, we all said MBO’s for luggage meeting us when we got home.

We watched the connection plane being loaded with luggage and we didn’t see ours, so we kept fingers crossed and kept going.  We arrived in Seattle and we went down to the baggage area and got off the small carry-on we had taken, then we stepped into the baggage claim customer service area to explain our problem.  When we had checked luggage in originally with the commuter airline, we asked if the luggage could just be pushed through to Delta Airlines all the way.  She said she could so we gave her the flight numbers for Delta.  We are now at the Delta Customer Service and she found nothing showing we had any luggage at all other than the one carry-on.  She gave us the look of…you are truly screwed.

At that moment, my husband happened to look out the window in her room and saw our luggage being wheeled through the door near the carousel.  We went out and the guy pushing them out, said that the pilots had had someone pull them from the front of the plane and move them to the baggage area.  No one seemed to have a good explanation of how they got to Seattle.

BP FOR FRIEND TO FIND JOB CLOSE TO HOME

Raymond in Dallas writes:  I have an MBO story for you.  I was speaking to my neighbor the other day and she told me she lost her job when the company was bought out and they laid off 1/3 of the people.

She is about 45 and single.  She has to depend on herself and was pretty depressed about losing her job.  She had an interview last week and commented on the job search being more difficult than she thought it was going to be.

I left her and privately said that I hoped God would help her find a job soon that was suitable to her interests. I asked that she find a Most Benevolent Outcome for her situation, a job that was fulfilling and close to home.  Her last job required a one hour commute in the Dallas area.

I spoke to her briefly last night and she said she got a job in the local area. Her spirit and personality was much brighter.

I ‘m not sure if the MBO was responsible, but I’m glad that I was able to help with the resources I had available and it worked out for her.

MBO FOR GREAT WEATHER ON CRUISE

Michelle in Baltimore writes:  I hope you and yours are doing well. I seldom use MBO requests. Not because they don’t work for me, but because I seldom need to specify my desires. What normally occurs is I define a need and then sent out the request for that particular issue to be resolved. It is effective for me, since my angels and I work so well together!

However, there are times when only an MBO or BP will work. In March, I requested a MBO for GREAT weather for our upcoming family cruise to Bermuda. It would be a reunion in Bermuda with our family on the island.  I said the request and forgot about it until the week we left port. Weather in Baltimore has been cold and wet. Cold enough to have the heat on, constantly. When we left Baltimore, it was pouring rain.

I anxiously tracked Bermuda weather, it was rain, rain and thunderstorms forecast for our arrival on Monday May 26th. It was STILL raining an hour before we docked. But by the time we departed the ship, the sky had cleared. It was a sunny and warm 80 degrees. We did get a brief shower around 8pm, but that cleared up quickly. On Tuesday, it was warmer and still sunny. I got word upon arriving home that the showers moved back in not long after we set sail. Our return trip home was bright and rain free. So for this request, I give my angels a 10+. I was so certain the rain would ease and the sun would shine, I packed 4 pairs of sunglasses! I got to wear all of them!  Thanks Tom!

BENEVOLENT PRAYERS

These are excerpts from my book, THE GENTLE WAY II: The Story Continues.

Recently I was meditating, and I asked how many people who read the metaphysical magazine Sedona Journal of Emergence (which I write a monthly column for) send white light out to the world on a regular basis. I was appalled to be told that only 10 percent to 20 percent of Sedona Journal readers actually do this. So I asked my guardian angel Theo to explain.

Theo, I would like to ask about white light. Few metaphysically oriented people try to send white light because, I’m sure, they can’t see any results. Can you explain this process more fully to me?

Of course. When you send, or imagine that you are sending, white light out, either over the world or to someone in particular, your guardian angels cover this request, along with a whole group of angels whose job it is to move the light. They act upon your sending of light just like a prayer, and that light is sent wherever you wish it to go. So just think of it as a simple prayer for the world. It is much more powerful than you can imagine, as you as humans are much more powerful than you can imagine. Remember, you are junior creators in training. Sending white light is part of the creation process.

Now I’ll quickly explain how I send light. You can get creative and send it anyway you wish, but just think what we can accomplish if just a few thousand more readers this book start sending light every day, or at least on a regular basis! I start by imagining I am sending the white light first to North America, Central America, then South America, to the Arctic and then to Antarctica, then east to Europe and Africa, the Middle East (sometimes I’ll send extra light to specific countries here), Scandinavia and Eastern Europe, then all points to the east. Then I’ll switch and concentrate on sending light to all the island in the Pacific Ocean, the Korean Peninsula, Taiwan, Indonesia, Malaysia, Australia and New Zealand, all of Asia and the Indian sub-continent until the light has encircled the world. All this takes less than a minute of your time. Surely you have a minute per day to give your light to the world!

APARTMENT FIRE

Here’s an example of saying a Benevolent Prayer when your life and/or property may be in danger.

Annette writes: I must tell you  – the other night there was a major fire in an apartment building on the street behind us on the opposite side from us. We could see the black smoke from the kitchen window and suddenly saw huge flames shoot way up – I grabbed The Gentle Way and went right to the Living Prayer (now called Benevolent Prayer) on page 98. 80 Firefighters responded and the building was in the middle section of a complex – they had to use 3 ladders with water cannons. That night on the news we learned that the apartments in that section were empty for renovations, all the surrounding apartments were not damaged and the firewall kept the fire from going to other apartments. All Firefighters were safe and the fire was contained in an amazingly short time.”

I thanked all the Beings who added in and answered the Benevolent Prayer. I now carry your book with me all the time. Thank you!!

VACATIONS

Jean from Ontario, Canada, was in Seattle vacationing in late February. I’ll let her tell the story:

“I was anticipating an afternoon of exploration via the excellent Seattle bus service. My destination required a transfer in downtown Seattle, and as I waited for my bus in the outlying area, I asked for a benevolent outcome for my ride to the downtown as well as for my transfer to a bus I’d not ridden before.

“As the driver approached his stop in front of the Seattle Center, home of the Space Needle, a parcel delivery truck suddenly stopped in front of him. The driver was not looking at the truck; he was looking at the bus stop to see if there were any passengers waiting. ‘Something’ told him to look ahead, and he did, bringing the bus safely to a stop within inches of the truck.

“There were about a dozen other people on the bus at the time, plus the driver. No one was injured; some of the people at the back didn’t even know what had happened. But I did. (Thank you times ten!) I teased the driver about all the paperwork he had just avoided! We got to the downtown in plenty of time for me to make my transfer, and I had a wonderful afternoon exploring the northern suburbs of Seattle.”

Please note a couple of points from Jean’s story. She was aware of what happened when the bus driver was able to avoid a collision with the truck. Instead of being frightened by the experience, she was able to make a joke about it. I’ve seen this several times before in both my experiences and those of others. You’re able to step back and see a larger picture of the events that go on to bring about a benevolent outcome. And Jean also noticed that this was a Radiant Effect, which I have written about previously, where a benevolent outcome that you requested is given to you, and others who are nearby are also benevolently affected.

Jean continues with her story: “Although my return trip didn’t involve the radiant effect, I was delighted with it as well. I’d noticed that the bus back to the downtown ran only every half-hour and cut it a bit short to walk back to the bus stop. As I was hurrying up the hill, I noticed my bus signaling for its left turn to get to the stop. I was still half a block away, so I hurried even faster and began waving to the driver. He pulled into the bus stop and waited for me. I got to the downtown transfer area in lots of time to get my bus home, without a lengthy wait.”

SOUTH AFRICAN MBO

This next one you could call a vacation for a medical procedure.  David in St. Louis sent me a couple of stories about a trip he and his wife traveled to Cape Town, South Africa, for in vitro fertilization treatments, which are one-fourth of what they cost in the United States with as good, if not better, health care. He asked for a most benevolent outcome to meet people of like mind while on the trip. The manager of the bed and breakfast they stayed at was one of the organizers of the Earth-Water-Fire-Air Festival there in 2005. She also introduced them to one of her good friends, who was spiritually attuned and spent a night sharing wisdom.

Next David related, “I had to extend my stay down there. Fine, but when I went to change my ticket to a date a week later, it turned out that there were no flights available for the next two weeks. And the only option at the time was to spend an additional twenty-six hundred dollars for a new ticket. So as I prepared for the financial sting, I had a revelation: I was going to ask for a most benevolent outcome. Two days later, my travel agent called me saying that if I extend my stay by one and one-half additional days, I could use my original ticket and just pay the ticket change fee, which was two hundred dollars. Wow!

“When it came time for me to leave, I asked for a most benevolent outcome for meeting the right people for my growth on the plane. So for one flight, I sat next to a very interesting woman who was director of a couple of burn units at some Cape Town hospitals. We talked at length about South Africa politics, social uplifting, tribal matters and so on, and it was extremely educational. I also met a very cool lawyer on the way home, who, in addition to being Jewish (I invited him over for Shabbat), was a social activist. He shared some wisdom and answered all of my questions about getting involved in social causes.” (David explained to me that a Shabbat is a sort of potluck dinner they have on Friday night. Sounds like good times with good friends to me!)

David also related a story about his recent trip to Israel on business. “Being a bit concerned about making it through today’s airport security checks without a problem, I requested a most benevolent outcome for making it through security easily. I was in the very long line heading into the international gate area at JFK, and when I got to the point where they verify your boarding pass, there were two lines: one for commoners like me, which traversed back and forth about six times, and another for flight attendants that went straight through. Well, just as the person ahead of me and everyone ahead of her were directed into the maze, the gatekeeper closed off that path and let me be the first of the commoners to take the fast-path route through security. That was cool!”

After reading David’s email, my first chance to try out requesting an MBO for sitting next to someone interesting was my trip to Washington, DC to promote my book at the largest book fair in the United States.  On my way back I was flying economy class and the plane had two seats on one side and three on the other.  I was on the window seat and then a young lady came and sat down next to me.  I thought, “Well she doesn’t look that interesting, but who knows?”  Then another gentleman came and asked her if she wanted to switch places with him, as he had seen that she and her friend were separated.  She immediately agreed. I discovered that he was the head buyer for a chain of 150 bookstores, and I was able to present my book to him, later following up by phone, resulting in an order.

LOST COMPUTER MBO

Katherine writes:  I recently traveled to visit my sister out of state. I went through security with my laptop, and was walking around the airport when I realized my computer was missing. All my business information is on that computer! I went to security to see if someone had turned it in. They had not seen it, but took my cell phone number. I walked away feeling anxious and very concerned.

Then I smiled to myself as I remembered making an MBO for a successful trip. It was as if all my anxiety was swept away. I knew I didn’t have to ask HOW it would be returned; deep inside of me, I trusted I would get it back. Within minutes of that recollection, security called me to tell me that the women who cleaned the restrooms had found it. As I walked out of the restroom, a few of the security men I had spoken to earlier were on a cart cheering for me as I left the bathroom with my computer. They raised their hands and shouted, “Success!”. Can you imagine!? I was elated and so grateful. I teach MBO’s to all of my clients. Thank you, Tom!

PAST MBO REQUESTS WORKING NOW

Rick writes:  Some things, it seems are coming to fruition, and I feel the MBOs are the reason. I’ve obtained a provisional patent for a weight lifting device which will increase user safety. I have a broker working with me who believes it will fetch a lot of money. In addition, they have completed a patent search on two other products that they believe are money makers. I believe this is the answer to my MBO, “I request a most benevolent outcome for obtaining more money than I will need for the rest of my life, thank you.” This is also said with the intent that I will not retire to an American colony is Costa Rica, but will give me the financial freedom to do anything I want, including financing my own movies.

Secondly, the MBO for the perfect producer (from your book) may have occurred, too. I have one producer in NC who likes my wrestling screenplay, and another in San Francisco who wants to produce my screenplay on the first openly gay baseball player. I feel the MBO for the money and the MBO for the producers are interlinked. Now, I am saying living prayers to all the players here to guide them to the best results.

In reading “The Science of Being Rich”, I am visualizing what I want, as it suggests, like it is already here, but it is difficult to temper that with the reality that the money is not yet in the bank. That’s a dicey one to balance.

Sometimes it takes a while for MBO requests to manifest, as they are just starting to now for Rick.  Here’s another piece of advice I gave him, which I came across recently:

Imagine that you have already received the money in the past–not in the present. I suggested to Rick that he imagine that the money has already been in his bank account for some time and enjoys looking at his bank balance online, or something to that effect. “Gosh, it was great that I received that huge check for ________ last month (year, etc)!”

MBO’S FOR WII BOWLING

Ron in Virginia writes:  I will be ordering your second book soon. I am getting the gist of creating MBO’s now too. Since I am just starting out on this I do see where it doesn’t always work however with practice doing them every day I am sure it gets better and better.

Here is a success I had last Tuesday. My wife and I belong to the senior center here in our community and on Tuesday mornings we go there to play WII bowling. Well last week when we went just before entering the building I made an MBO for bowling some high games. Well we bowled four games and mine were all in the middle 200’s which I was very proud of too.  Hadn’t bowled that well in a very long time and I know I can thank my guardian angel too. Not only that each person at my table bowled very well too. Don’t you call that the Radiant Effect?  We all had a very fun time too.

I really appreciate your work you are doing and I am going to be learning even more about angels in the next couple of months too. Looking forward to learning more.  And would have been nice to learn this as a child too.  Be it as it may I know more now and I am enjoying the journey of a great relationship with my guardian angel.

Ron followed up this email with one saying he had bowled a 285, plus all the other people in the group were bowling well.  They were having a lot of fun!

That was also an example of a Radiant Effect I described in my first book.  When you request MBO’s for yourself, others seem to be covered too.  One example I’ve used before is a lady who wrote to tell me she had requested a MBO for her trip on a city bus in Seattle. As it approached the Space Needle, suddenly a truck in front stopped abruptly and the bus driver had to slam on his breaks.  He stopped about 6 inches or so from the back of the truck.  So not only was the lady not injured, neither were all the other people in the bus.  She was able to joke about it with the bus driver, instead of being shaken by the close call.

MBO AND BP PHRASING

This was in yesterday’s newsletter, which you can sign up for by going to http:TheGentleWayBook.com and on the home page there is a box to fill in to receive the F.R.E.E. newsletter. Theo, for your reference, is my own Guardian Angel I communicate with in meditation.

Robert writes:  My ‘MBO’….suggestions:

All TO BE SAID ‘OUT LOUD’…

‘As I NOW say this most benevolent outcome request with intent, emotion and feeling, it has the multiplying energy, force, and effect of my having stated and intended it, of nine times to the ninth power.’

Maggie writes:  I have been requesting Benevolent Outcomes for about a year now and they have completely changed my life from anxiety and frustration to empowerment and joy! Thank you! Lately I have added more wording in keeping with my new self-perception and I wanted to see what you/Theo think.

Since we are, as you say, co-creators in training, I rephrase my MBO/BPs to ask for help in co-creating the thing I want rather than staying in the old paradigm of asking or praying to others to do something for me.

For MBOs I say, “I request help in co-creating the most benevolent outcome for…”. My Benevolent Prayer is, “I ask all beings, co-creators with me, to…”. I think it’s the next step in development; what do you think?

Theo, I’ve had suggestions on changing the MBO and BP requests to say such things as “multiplying to the 9th power” and “co-creating.”  Your comments.

Yes Tom. For those who wish to change and experiment with requesting MBO’s and BP’s another way, allow and encourage them to make these request in their own way and form, just as you did years ago.

Regarding the suggestion about the 9th power, yes, for the person saying this, it does give energy to maximize the request—to give it the most energy possible.  And the same for the co-creating.  These requests are not set in stone but can be individualized as they wish.  Their own GA’s will receive and act on them.  For the majority of the people, the actual act of requesting the MBO’s or asking for a BP for someone is a great accomplishment, so to use your vernacular, “Keep it Simple” is my best advice.

The advantages to keeping it simple are numerous.  The person does not have to think about what they are saying, as it becomes a simple habit.  There is more thought that goes into expanding the requests and over time, unless they make it a habit by saying this over and over and over again, they will probably revert back to the more easily said request.

YAWNING MEANS A GOOD MBO

Jill writes:  I love the newsletters and I have noticed that more and more people are actually stating what they have said in their MBO’s (word for word, versus less vague).  This helps the other side of my brain!

My question for your audience is: After you have said your MBO or BP do you get a feeling of it being heard/working and what do you feel?  I let out a huge yawn.  If I do not yawn, then I reword the statement until I receive one.  Sometimes all I have to do is start to think of the statement and then I yawn.  You can just imagine pages of MBO’s and I’m yawning so much my eyes are tearing and I can hardly read anything.  Someone explained why I do this but I have forgotten.  The bigger the yawn, the better the statement, I think.

Before this was explained to me I thought I could not feel anything.  Maybe people get tickles in their nose, ears, fingers.  Maybe coughing, eye twitching, voices, etc.  I think it would be great that we could read other peoples feelings on “feelings”!

(I have also noticed that if someone is taking my power/energy like in a phone conversation, I will also yawn and this was explained to me that yawning protects me.)

Well, this is the first time I’ve heard of someone yawning, but perhaps it happens more than I’ve been made aware of.  I do think you’ve set this up on a subconscious level to make yourself more aware of what’s being created when you request a MBO.  I think requesting MBO’s affect people, but how is left up to your physiology.

When I request a MBO with emotion, I sometimes feel a nice warm feeling in my solar plexus.  You can actually work on this feeling, as is described in the Appendix of my first book.

So readers, what happens when you request a MBO, if anything?

BENEVOLENT PRAYER REQUESTS

Here are a couple of Benevolent Prayer requests that appeared in the newsletter yesterday.  Please add your energy by saying these out loud:

The first one is because Japan just ceased whaling “temporarily” because of the whaling ship being harassed.
Say,
“I ask any and all beings to make the suspension of whaling by Japan be permanent, thank you!”

For the Middle East and Africa say this Benevolent Prayer (BP) out loud: “I ask any and all beings to continue to assist those in Africa and the Middle East, and particularly Bahrain and Yemen to peacefully change to democracies as they desire, thank you!”

THE GENTLE WAY BOOKS

Welcome to this week’s edition of my Benevolent Outcomes Blog, and welcome to everyone who subscribed in the past week.  This Blog is for people just discovering how to use a very simple, yet powerful and effective spiritual tool you can use every day the rest of your life.  It will lessen the stress and fear of life in general, and will make your life easier. It’s so simple a lot of people say “It can’t be this easy,” but it is, because IT WORKS! This reconnects you with your Guardian Angel, or higher power, or whatever your belief is.  You simply say, “I request a Most Benevolent Outcome for…….., thank you!” When you read the stories below, sent from all over the world, we use the acronym MBO for Most Benevolent Outcomes, GA for Guardian Angel, and BP for Benevolent Prayers (what you ask for other people).

I trust all of you in the United States had a great Thanksgiving with plenty of pumpkin (or my favorite pecan) pie!  And I hope all your family reunions were special, after hopefully you requested MBO’s.

My publisher, Light Technology is having a super special on my books. They are 35% off, more than on Amazon.com.  Only problem is, you have to phone them to order.  On orders of $50 or more they offer free shipping.  They are not open today, so best to phone on Monday.  The toll free number is 800-450-0985 and the regular number is 928-526-1345.  I am told over and over again that these books CHANGE PEOPLE’S LIVES, so give a gift that keeps on giving for the rest of your friends’ or family’s lives.

Subscribing to this blog is easy, just go to http://www.gentlewaybook.com/blog/?feed=rss2 .  I also email a weekly newsletter with more advanced topics, which you can subscribe to by going to http://TheGentleWayBook.com.  Here you can also read a couple of sample chapters of my first book to give you more suggestions on requesting MBO’s.  Please forward this blog to your friends if you enjoy reading it.  In the Articles & News section I have a new Search Function you can use to search all my articles and newsletters by simply entering a word or phrase.  And be sure to request to be my Friend on Facebook.  I give extra information during the week there.  Now for some inspiring stories.

LIFE IS EASIER

Mary writes: I look forward to getting your newsletter and blog each week. Keep up the good works. I use MBO’s all the time and tell others about it. My two children use it; they are nine and four years of age. I don’t worry as much as I used to. I notice when I start to get fearful thoughts, and I make a conscious choice to stop, and MBO’s/BP’s help a lot. Thank You, Tom.

UK TRIP MBO’S

Chrissy from Brisbane writes:  My husband and I returned recently from spending 6 weeks in England visiting family and sight-seeing. We arrived the first week of October and on the way over there from Australia, I did MBO’s for a safe flight, getting through the security check and customs and for a safe landing.

When we arrived, there were not many people in front of us for the passport check and then we went through customs because we had bought some liquorish for a friend and they waved us through. The car rental people did not take very long to pick us up – compared to our last visit 2 years ago and before I started using MBO’s. On the previous visit, we waited for over half an hour to be picked up and this time only about 10 minutes.

I did MBO’s most days for lovely weather or for sunshine, but did forget some days, when it rained. We had brilliant weather all through October and November and although the air was crisp, we had sunshine for a lot of the time. Sometimes it was for a few hours and other days, we had beautiful blue skies and sunshine. People kept saying how unusual it was to have sunshine so late in the year. I just think it is not what you know but who you know. So thank you to the Angels for helping us through.

MBO’S FOR SCRATCH-OFF TICKETS

Deb writes:  Happy Thanksgiving a day late!!!  I have a story that I wish you would put in the Sedona Journal. It would make my son’s day. I have a 31-year old son with Asperger’s Syndrome.  He lives at home with his dad and me and is able to work. He is a great kid (Will always be a kid to me)  My therapist is also Jesse’s life coach; his name is Rick.

We all do the MBO’s. Jesse likes to do the scratch-off lottery tickets and before he scratches them off, he always says, “I am asking for a benevolent outcome of cash. Thank you.” Sometimes he wins really big and sometimes he loses, but he just loves to play them. He never forgets to do his MBO. I thought you would enjoy that.  Jesse is a sheer delight–as I always say, I wouldn’t take anything for him, but then on some days I would give him to you.  He keeps me busy!!

Just a reminder folks that requesting MBO’s to win the lottery will not work if it’s not in your soul contract for sudden wealth.  Jesse probably does OK because the amounts are not huge on scratch-offs.  In my book I mentioned a lady who worked at the drug store near where I used to live that seemed to consistently win—not the big million dollar ones, but smaller in the thousands.  She was just “tuned in” to the numbers it seems.

MBO’S FOR DRIVING & WINDOW WASH

Sue writes:  I plan on purchasing your first book.  I don’t want to miss anything.  Just from reading your newsletter, I thought I would give it a try with MBO’s and BO’s.  I started out simple – like a smooth drive into the city.  Well, I got green lights “all the way through town”!!  Parking spaces show up!

I even went so far as to request a BO that my lower back wouldn’t hurt so I could get the walls and windows washed. I had a spasm so I moved into a MBO.  To my ultimate surprise I have to tell you my lower back DID NOT HURT one I-O-DA!!  What I didn’t consider though was “muscle ache”.  I laughed for two days over it.  Every muscle hurt, but by golly I had absolutely no back pain!!  I am thrilled!

This is fun to personally experience in a “game likeness” fun with my Angel.  I just love it.  Thank you Tom over and over again.  Barnes and Noble in the valley has your book.  Next run into the city I’ll be getting it.  Blessings, Hugs and Fun to Tom.

MBO’S FOR FAMILY AND SLEEP

I found this posting on Extreme Mind by Skyhigh: I’d like to share with all readers of this thread more experiences in using Most Benevolent Outcomes (MBOs):

A female cousin of mine wanted to forcibly occupy the second floor of our two-story house and another vacant house of the estate in the same area, presenting a legal document, a deed of sale signed by her mother which she claims entitles her to also use the property along with 4 other legal heirs. The 5 heirs already had an earlier meeting on how to operate the 2 houses, but my cousin who already had a longtime squabble with her sisters over property sharing on her father’s side, wanted to complicate matters and would file a lawsuit against her sisters if needed.

I recited an MBO 5 times daily for three days: “I request a Most Benevolent Outcome that (name of the person) do not use the second floor of our house for her personal gain and may this outcome be even better than I can hope for or expect.” On the third day, the sisters had a meeting and my cousin had a peaceful settlement with the administrator regarding her planned use of the two houses of the estate which she did not pursue, thus, relieving all concerned of legal troubles, costs and hassles.

I also used an MBO daily for my mother’s sporadic dizziness, which gives her a lot of trouble whenever it occurs. This has worsened for a year now and I recited: “I ask that any and all beings assist my mother in curing her dizziness permanently”. After 5 days, there was a marked improvement in her condition, no longer ingesting costly tablets at least twice a day. To my relief, she only takes a tablet sometimes and there are days she no longer takes them.

The quality of my sleep has also improved since I used an MBO for sleeping easily at night.

My own Guardian Angel (GA) Theo says you only have to request a MBO once, but if it makes you feel better you can request multiple times.

MBO FOR CHOKING

And Pleiadian Healer responded to the above post:  Yes, I agree the MBO’s are amazing! Thanksgiving day I plan to give Tom’s first book “The Gentle Way” to a friend, so she can get in on all the fun, she also has a little 2 year old, so using this method will do wonders for both of them!

Lately I’ve been using MBO’s for just about anything that comes up that troubles me, in the slightest way. Just the other day I was eating a bagel and started to choke, but only just a little bit. It was more of an annoying choking sensation, not really bad, and I tried everything to stop it, finally in desperation, I stopped and started to think what else I could do… finally I remembered to ask for a MBO to stop choking and within 5 seconds it stopped…lol… I started to laugh out loud it worked so well.

Now this is a really small thing, but dang, that choking was super annoying… and to see it just stop within seconds of doing an MBO was just so great. I even used it again for choking about a week or so later, and the same thing happened, in just a few seconds my choking stopped seemingly all by itself… even though I knew my guardian angel stopped it, I could not tell HOW it stopped it since it was such a smooth transition. It almost seemed like magic!

I use MBO’s everyday, several times a day now. I never go without them and use them from the smallest things to the biggest. Even just walking into a store to buy some simple thing, if you do an MBO before you actually get in the store, all sorts of cool things happen.

You even mentioned using them before bed to get a good night’s sleep, I’ve been doing that a while now too, and when I forget to ask for any MBO before sleep I wake up feeling kind of so-so and not so great, which is normal for me, but when I remember to say an MBO like “I now request the most benevolent outcome for a good night’s sleep and to wake up in the morning refreshed and rejuvinated… thank you”, I wake up feeling so great it’s amazing.

Thanks again for all your great reports Skyhigh, I’m sure others will enjoy constantly seeing how you benefit from all this!

And I’ll second that comment.

As we are in the middle of the Christmas Season, please keep in mind that Angel books make a great Christmas or Hanukkah gift! So please give one or both my books as presents to your family and friends.  Book II has great inspirational stories that can really encourage someone to start requesting Benevolent Outcomes in their lives.  You can order them from Amazon.com, your local bookstore, or from my publisher, Light Technology (http://sedonajo.com).  If you don’t have book II yet, put it on your Christmas list for your family to buy for you!

I am doing something a little different with this Blog.  As this is the Holiday Season with lots of family reunions, I thought it timely to present an article that has been published in many regional and even international magazines.  The title, as you saw above is:

ANGELS & THE HOLIDAYS

BY

TOM T. MOORE
Copyright 2010

The months of  November and December are generally viewed as great months of parties, dinners with friends, and reunions with families.  But it can be a highly stressful time when you’re in charge of the dinner, or you have to travel, or you and your family are worlds apart in lifestyles and/or beliefs.

I’m going to give you some tips and suggestions to make this time period much less stressful and a lot more pleasurable.  About twelve years ago, in reading spiritual articles and books, I kept noticing the word “benevolent” used in stories about angels and their relationship to us.  As this is not a commonly used word in the English language, it was quite noticeable to me.  One day I read a suggestion to request benevolent outcomes for events in your life. I decided to try it out, and was amazed how PERFECTLY it worked for everything, from small requests such as a parking spot next to a busy restaurant or a seat on the subway to the really important situations in my business and personal life.  After having made these requests between 10,000 and 15,000 times over the years, I am firmly convinced that our Guardian Angels are there to assist us in living more gentle lives.  We just have to ask.

So how do you request Benevolent Outcomes from your Guardian Angel?  If you are cooking for your friends or family, consider saying, “I request a Most Benevolent Outcome that the food I prepare will be perfect for my group, and that our time spent together will be enjoyable, thank you!”  Always thank your Guardian Angel, and the more emotion you can put into these requests the better.

These requests need to be said out loud or in writing and must be for something that is specifically for you.  Certainly you can change the wording to fit the circumstances, but remember that the requests have to be benevolent for not only you, but also all those involved in the request, as even if you request something that is not benevolent for others in error or on purpose they will not work.  This is your best friend you are talking to, so be assured that you can speak directly to them and in these simple terms.  You can never “use up” your requests.  Webster’s dictionary defines Benevolent as “A kindly disposition to promote happiness and prosperity through good works, or by generosity in and pleasure of doing good works.”  Doesn’t that sound like what we would imagine our Guardian Angel would do if given a chance?

If you must travel during the holidays, there are a variety of requests you can make.  You can request Benevolent Outcomes:

  • That you remember to pack everything for the trip;
  • That the drive to the airport or to the place you are going to be safe and free of traffic;
  • That the check in at the airport be fast;
  • That your luggage will arrive safely and on time;
  • That you speed through the Security Line with no delays;
  • That your plane and any connections you make be on time;
  • That (if you are traveling alone) you sit next to someone interesting, or, if you need to sleep, next to someone who will not want to talk;
  • That your friends or family are there on time and easy to find;
  • That if you are taking part in any sport during your holiday, from touch football, to skiing, to scuba diving, you remain safe from injury.

As examples I request Most Benevolent Outcomes (MBO’s as I call them) for everything.  While packing for a trip, I’ll say, “I request a Most Benevolent Outcome for remembering everything I need to take on my trip. Thank you.”  When it comes time to go to the airport, I request a Benevolent Outcome for the drive to the airport in safety and with no delays.  How many people have you heard about that have missed a flight because of a traffic jam or wreck on the freeway?

At the airport, I’ll say, “I request a Most Benevolent Outcome that my bags arrive safely and on time.  Thank you.”  Don’t forget to say “thank you” to your Guardian Angel.  David in St. Louis emailed to tell me he requested a Benevolent Outcome for making it through the Security check line with no problems (nothing can slow you down more than being “randomly” chosen for a full search).  There were two lines, one that traversed back and forth and the other for flight personnel.  Just as the person ahead of him was directed into the maze, the gatekeeper closed off that path and let David be the first person to pass through the fast-path route through security.  As he said, “that was cool!”

David also mentioned that he likes to request MBO’s for meeting interesting people on the plane.  I tried that out on a business trip back from Washington DC, and after a gentleman offered to trade seats with a young lady sitting next to me so she could sit with her friend, he turned out to be a buyer that I had not seen at the book market.  I was able to give him some information, which will result in a sale.  That’s how Benevolent Outcomes work.  It is so much fun to see how your Guardian Angel makes these things happen!

My wife and I went to a conference in Mt. Shasta, California—a really beautiful place.  On our way back to the Sacramento Airport, I requested a MBO for a safe and problem free drive.  On the car radio, there was a news bulletin that the California Highway Patrol was getting tough on Interstate 5 and would be ticketing anyone barely over the speed limit.  As we were driving along, I had passed several slower moving cars when an oversized pickup came up behind me.  I decided to let him pass, although there was still another car to pass ahead of me. As he passed, I started to move out again to pass the car when suddenly out of the bushes in the median roared a CHIP’s patrol car with lights blinking. I jumped back in line and watched as the pulled over the pickup.  That could have been me.  I have found over time that after requesting a MBO for a drive, the highway patrol cars are either turning off, going the other direction, or have just pulled someone over as I pass by.

One time I rented a car in Nice, France for the 20-minute drive to Cannes on a freeway.  Naturally I requested a MBO for the drive.  A few minutes into the drive a small car passed by me at a speed of approximately 90 miles an hour.  About 100 yards up the road, he tried to weave in and out of traffic, lost control, spun out and bounced off the guardrail ending up straddled across two of the three lanes of traffic.  Had I been five seconds earlier, I would have been in danger of being involved.  I was able to slow down and creep by the car on the far right lane.

Jean from Ontario, Canada emailed to tell me she was in Seattle on vacation.  She was exploring the city via their “excellent” bus service.  She asked for a Benevolent Outcome for her ride downtown.  As the driver approached his stop in front of the Seattle Center, home of the Space Needle, a parcel delivery truck suddenly stopped in front of him.  The bus driver had been looking at the bus stop to see if any passengers were waiting.  “Something” told him to look ahead, and he did, bringing the bus safely to a stop within inches of the truck.  No one was injured, and Jean was able to joke with the driver about all the paper work he had just avoided!

Perhaps you wish to share a taxi with someone to cut down on costs.  The Milan, Italy airport is a long drive outside the city, so I checked with the hotel concierge to see if there was anyone else that had ordered a taxi for the very early drive to the airport.  He had no one scheduled at 5:00 am in the morning, so I requested a MBO for someone to share my taxi.  The next morning when I checked out of the hotel there were no people in sight, so I was resigned to paying for an expensive taxi, when in walked five or six doctors from the Mayo Clinic who had been in Milan for a cancer conference.  They had hired a mini-bus to take them to the airport and invited me to join them, at no charge!

You can request a Benevolent Outcome that your visit with your family or acquaintances be cordial and pleasant.  Just say, “I ask that during the time I am at (name the location) that my experience be delightful.  Thank you.  This may seem like you’re asking a lot in some instances, but REQUEST THE IMPOSSIBLE!

Under this category comes family members or people you know will be at the party or reunion with which you have had a difficult time.  The reasons could include alcoholism, drug use, or you have had a difficult relationship with them in the past.  I suggest saying something like, “I ask that any and all beings come to the assistance of (name) so that they remain sober and pleasant during the time I’m there, and that they receive assistance in overcoming their problem.”  This is a “Living Prayer” that you can say for other people.  Change the wording to fit your circumstances.   Or you can say, “I request a Most Benevolent Outcome for having a pleasant relationship with (name) during the time I am with them.”  Again, change the wording to fit your particular circumstances.

If you are worried about you and/or your children’s safety while in the presence of someone whom you know to be physically, mentally, or sexually abusive, then say,  “I ask that my safety and that the safety of my children be guaranteed now and in the future in a way that is Benevolent to us all.”  This can also be said if you are currently in a relationship where you are fearful for the same reasons.

If your job involves working during the Holiday period, then you can request Benevolent Outcomes that you will be safe at work each day, that your commissions will be higher than you hope for or expect, and that your time at work be pleasant with your fellow employees and customers. As an example say, “I request a Most Benevolent Outcome that my commissions be higher than I can expect or hope for.  Thank you.”  Don’t limit yourself to asking for a specific amount.  You might be asking for too low an amount!  That also goes for requesting a Benevolent Outcome for your annual Bonus.  If you must work to late at night, request a Benevolent Outcome for your walk to your car or bus or train stop.

There is what I call the  “Radiant Effect” when you make these requests.  Many of these requests will be benevolent for all of those around you, such as when you travel. Other people are affected by your request for safety in driving or flying.  If there are people in your car or on the bus, train, or airplane, they will travel in safety too.  When you request a Benevolent Outcome or say a Living Prayer for a pleasant time with someone who has caused everyone problems it has a Radiant Effect.   When you request Benevolent Outcomes for yourself, it also affects others who are present at the dinner, party, or reunion with you.  It makes for a much more pleasant time for everyone!  These simple requests can lower your stress and make your family’s holiday much more congenial and joyful!

Have a Most Benevolent Holiday period this year!

Now for this week’s inspiring stories.

TRAVELING WITH YOUR GUARDIAN ANGEL

Each year I travel to Cannes, France for an international TV and Video market held there.  The one I am writing about was an uneventful trip (thanks to requesting Benevolent Outcomes) with two exceptions. I had the little “whisper in my ear” from my Guardian Angel Theo in Frankfurt while waiting for my connection that my watch was going to stop working, and I remember thinking (I was foggy from being on a plane overnight) that at least it had lasted for 20 years. Then I awoke from a nap while waiting and discovered the watch had stopped and it was only 25 minutes until boarding time.

Upon arrival in Cannes, I headed for the Rolex store nearby to see if it could be fixed (after requesting a MBO). I was having a hard time finding the address and stopped in another watch store to ask directions. After finding the store a few doors down, I was told it would take four to six weeks and a minimum of 400 to 600 Euros ($600 to $900) for the repair. I know prices in the USA are lower, so I headed back to the other store and bought the least expensive watch they had to tide me over until my watch is repaired. Had I not stopped in for directions, I would not have known where to go for a less expensive watch—a nice Benevolent Outcome!

The next night I ate at a pizza and Italian food restaurant near the “old” port in Cannes. There are a lot of these in the area, as Italy is just an hour drive or so away, just past Monte Carlo. I pulled my reading glasses out of the case and the lens on the left side, along with the screw, dropped out on the table. The screw rolled off the table and even with two waiters assisting me we couldn’t find it. I requested a Benevolent Outcome and luckily the print on the menu was large enough to read.

The next morning I asked the front desk where to have the glasses repaired, and was advised there was a store only one block away. The repair person replaced the screw and even the pads, which she said were yellow, and at no charge! It was a nice MBO. I do know from similar things happening like this before that I set these little challenges up on a higher self level in order to force me out of my routine, which also allows me to speak French; I am only able to use my French two times a year now. I used to also attend the Cannes Film Festival, but my lower budgeted regional films didn’t sell well there, as that is a market for art films and for films with highly recognizable stars, so I stopped attending.

After my book was published I started receiving emails from people with there own Benevolent Outcome stories.  One of the first was from David in St. Louis.  He said that he had requested a Benevolent Outcome for getting through a security line at the airport with no problems. When he reached the person who checks boarding passes and ID’s, she opened up a line that had only been used for airline crews and he was the first person through the line.  Then he requested a MBO for someone interesting to sit next to on the plane coming back from South Africa and had a great conversation with someone that put on metaphysical events.

The first time I tried it was coming back from Washington, DC from a bookstore convention.  I wound up sitting next to the buyer for a chain of bookstores and was able to show him my book and sell sheet, which resulted in sales.  With that success I have requested MBO’s to meet interesting people many times in my travels.

In Cannes, at the Italian restaurant I mentioned above, I requested a MBO to sit next to someone interesting, knowing that a lot of my colleagues were arriving for the market.  When I arrived I was seated at a table by the wall with empty tables next to me.  After my experience with my glasses, two young ladies came in to eat and instead of sitting one table away from me, sat down next to me.  We started talking and they were also there for the TV market, and came from Toronto, Canada.  The talk eventually led to a discussion about Benevolent Outcomes and one of the ladies, named Jenna, said that her mother had just returned from Sedona (one of my favorite places)!  Jenna and her friend Valerie said they would try requesting Benevolent Outcomes for their meetings.  A couple of days later I received an email from Jenna saying that the requests were going great.  In later emails she has continued to request them.

I also went to a reception the PBS station in New York has each market at a penthouse that overlooks the whole bay of Cannes.  I again requested a MBO to talk to someone interesting, and there were plenty of interesting people there. I eventually went to dinner with five ladies, mostly in South American sales and TV broadcasting.  One of the ladies promised to put me in touch with their dubbing service in Argentina and she told them to tell them to give me the same rate they have.   These are just examples of how many ways there are to request Benevolent Outcomes in your work and life.  Make it a HABIT!

Note on my last scheduled trip to Cannes in early April: I had bought my badge for the market and requested a Most Benevolent Outcome for my trip there. Then I kept hearing about how many of my potential clients were not going to attend, plus I had started negotiations on two extremely large deals for my company—either of which would surpass any normal business I would do at the market; I felt that I could not justify the expense of going and not being able to continue these negotiations and canceled my hotel reservation.

I’m sure you heard how people were stuck all over Europe and were not able to fly because of the volcanic ash cloud.  As you read above, I normally connect through either Frankfurt or Paris, and I would have been stuck in Cannes for at least an additional 5 to 7 days before being able to fly back to the USA, as I heard a number of my colleagues were.  This was DEFINITELY a big MBO for me!

BENEVOLENT OUTCOMES BLOG #3

IN THIS BLOG:

TRIP TO CANNES, FRANCE

THE GENTLE WAY BOOKS

THE GENTLE WAY BOOKS

Hi everyone and welcome to this third edition of my continuing blogs about a simple, yet powerful spiritual tool you can use every single day to make your life less stressful, less fearful, and much more enjoyable!  You accomplish this by simply requesting Benevolent Outcomes each day for the mundane things like driving to work each day, for more important things like a business meeting or for having a good day earning tips or making retail sales, to the really important things in your life like requesting the PERFECT JOB for you, the PERFECT HOME for you, and the PERFECT MATE for you.   You can read two sample chapters of my book on my website www.TheGentleWayBook.com.

This blog covers my trip to Cannes, France from London in October on a business trip I take two times a year for a world TV and DVD market, as I do international film and TV program distribution.   It will show you how often you can request Most Benevolent Outcomes (MBO’s) for all sorts of circumstances.

I’ll start at the first, with my flight from London’s Heathrow Airport on KLM with a change of planes in Amsterdam.  I made the mistake of forgetting to ask for a Benevolent Outcome for going through security and was stopped by a security guy and asked to put my roller bag in the metal form to see if it fit.  The wheels made it too long by about one inch or less, and he made me run back to check the bag in at KLM;  I knew I had a problem because of the combined weight of the two checked bags was at the maximum allowed, even though I was traveling business class.

They said I was at my limit and were going to charge me 130 GBP (about $200) overage.  My only option was to run downstairs (along with my roller bag and briefcase) to a store at the far end of the terminal and buy a cloth bag to throw everything into.  Naturally by now I said, “I request a Most Benevolent Outcome for buying the bag and resolving this problem, thank you!”.  I bought the cheapest bag they had which was 15 GBP (about $24) and ran back upstairs and started transferring virtually everything in the bag over to the cloth bag.  I then attempted to check the small roller bag and it weighed a total of 4 kilos (8.8 pounds).  The supervisor said that they would have given me 2 kilos, but since it was 4 they were going to charge me 50 GBP ($80) for the overage.  I started taking literally everything out of the bag including tissues and putting it on the floor next to the bag.  The two supervisors were called away and the lady at the counter told me to quickly give her the bag before they returned and she checked it.  That was the Benevolent Outcome to that problem!

Next back to the security line and of course I requested a MBO.  The guy who had made me return to the airline counter let me up to the front of the line, even though he said KLM had not paid for “fast track.”  I made the flight with time to spare and had a pleasant chat with a lady to Amsterdam (naturally I requested a MBO for someone interesting to talk to).  I had a long layover in Amsterdam before taking the flight to Nice, which I spent in a KLM lounge with free drinks and food.

I had requested a MBO for my bags to come out quickly in Nice and they did come out in plenty of time to make the bus to Cannes, which was filled with people going to the TV market.  I had requested a MBO to sit next to someone interesting, and I wound up sitting next to the British chap I had sat next to on the plane from London to Nice last March!  We still may do some business.  He even dragged one of my bags to my hotel, as he was traveling very light (what a great MBO!).  I showed him where to pick up his badge on our way, as he did not have his yet, and I was able to pick up my Guide book with everyone listed who was attending the market; this meant I did not have to return to pick it up, a very nice MBO!

One problem I had before commencing my trip was that when the head of the New York Reed Midem office had left in May or June, the new people denied giving me a “Platinum” card which allowed me to have meetings in the VIP Club.  After experiencing congestive heart failure (and a MBO of a full recovery) in 2006, my doctor said he didn’t want me to have the stress of having a booth or “stand” as they’re called in Europe.  I decided I could use the Buyers Club if needed, but requested a MBO when I twice emailed the head of the TV department at Reed Midem requesting the Platinum card.  I never received a response from her, so as I TRUST MBO’s to work PERFECTLY, I knew the Buyers Club would be best, and it was.  I met several buyers there that were not on my list of 60 appointments I had for the 4 days of the market and we had meetings either when there were no-shows for appointments, or in the few remaining times I had left.  Needless to say I was exhausted each night, as I didn’t leave until about 7:00 pm.  I did reconnect with the two young ladies from Canada I mentioned in my weekly newsletter last year at the Buyers Club and they’re still requesting MBO’s.

Monday night I was invited to a buffet dinner at the Majestic Hotel Beach and requested an MBO for someone to talk to.  I met an interesting gentleman by the name of Julius who does the PR for the World Music Awards each year in Monaco.   He says I should be drinking a glass of water each day with cayenne pepper, so I’ll have to investigate that.

I shipped a box weighing 17 kilos to Frankfurt, so I would not have to pay 10 Euros ($14.70) per kilo overage on Lufthansa.  This proved to be a MBO, as I had to roll three bags to my hotel in Frankfurt from the train station.  More on that in the next blog.

I did a 45 minute walk each morning after the Cannes Market finished all the way from my hotel to the end of the sea wall at the “new port” as they call it and back.  I walked along the Croisette before sunrise, but still daylight.  It was interesting to see all the big hotels that line the Cannes beach, but also the cruise ships that lie off shore and all the people preparing the restaurants that sit directly on the beach for the day.  I requested a MBO each morning for my walk to be interesting and it varied each day.

Much work and deliveries happens, with the sidewalk washed each morning by the “city jet” crew with a small water truck that went down the sidewalk with them, the garbage men picking up the trash in the bins that line the sidewalk, the crew building a large temporary structure on the beach, probably for a large party for the upcoming Duty Free Market the following week, walkers, joggers, and even a homeless man that sleeps against the seawall I walk on top of heading for the huge yachts at the end of the wall.  He’s a real character that feeds the birds and somehow fixes what appears to be tea, in a glass cup and saucer.  I said “bonjour” to him each day and he cackled a “bonjour” back to me.  He had clothes and lots of other things spread out on the huge boulders that lie against the walkway below the sea wall. More about him in the next blog.

Until then, have a Most Benevolent Week, and a Most Benevolent Thanksgiving!
