THE GENTLE WAY BOOKS

Welcome to the Benevolent Outcomes Blog, and welcome to everyone who subscribed in the past week.  This Blog is for people just discovering how to use a very simple, yet powerful and effective spiritual tool you can use every day the rest of your life.  It will lessen the stress and fear of life in general, and will make your life easier.  It’s so simple a lot of people say “It can’t be this easy,” but it is, because IT WORKS!  This reconnects you with your Guardian Angel, or higher power, or whatever your belief is.  You simply say, “I request a Most Benevolent Outcome for…….., thank you!”  When you read the stories below, sent from all over the world, we use the acronym MBO for Most Benevolent Outcomes, GA for Guardian Angel, and BP for Benevolent Prayers (what you ask for other people).

SPECIAL NOTICE:

Please email me your MBO stories to show others how to use this simple tool to TomTMoore6(at)aol.com.  Now for some inspiring stories.

MBO’S FOR EASY TRANSITION

Beverley writes: Last weekend, my mother-in-law was in very bad shape and ready to pass from this world, but my husband and I knew that she was in a lot of fear about going. She had been in a lot of pain from RA for years, but was fighting the dying process because of the fear. My husband and I were by her bedside and asked for the angels for an MBO for her death process, to take away the fear and for her to be able to pass peacefully.

A little while later, I was able to ‘see’ her pull out of her body and I relayed this to my husband who was praying and talking out loud to her, constantly reassuring her of what a good mother she had been and reassuring her of his love and that it was ok to let go. I watched and ‘saw’ her standing in front of an angel who was pointing toward the light for her to go. She actually sat down (her spirit self) and I ‘heard’ her say, ‘I’m not worthy to go to the light’, and she looked left toward what appeared to be a smoky grey dark area. I relayed this quickly to my husband, who assured her of her worthiness, as I also did mentally to her. Then I saw her get up, look left, look right, then look at the angel who was pointing to the right – and then I saw her step right into the light. I told my husband what she had done, and we were, at the same time, sad but relieved for her, as we knew she had made a good choice. As we watched her breathing gradually cease, we gave thanks that she had indeed received a most benevolent outcome for her dying process, and we received one, too, at being able to be there to help her, and to help her make a decision we felt was correct, and very deserving, for her.

We are not sure what kind of experience she would have had, had we not asked for the MBO when we did. And it was so important that we were both able to be there for her when she needed us most.  Thank you for letting me share our story.

My next door neighbor’s mother-in-law was within two weeks of transitioning according to the hospice nurse.  I emailed her this story, which she read to her.  She transitioned the next morning at 5:45 am.  If you have a loved one in a similar situation you might wish to read this story to him or her.

BP’S FOR WHALES

Jan writes:  This week i saw a documentary called Blackfish at the Sarasota Florida Film Festival.
http://tinyurl.com/ccvoj3a
This movie examines the consequences of capturing whales from their natural habitat, and putting them in captivity for human entertainment.  Blackfish featured in depth conversations with marine experts, trainers and the people who captured the whales for Sea World.  This is a powerful film and if anyone get’s the chance to see it I would highly recommend.  The movie explores the lives of the Orca Whales in captivity and the tragic attempt of humans to keep them.  The Whales at Sea World are not rescue whales.
http://tinyurl.com/cvrljs5
I am not a member of any type of animal rights group, just a mother of two who believes these are highly sentient creatures who have a very sophisticated social structure and deserve to be protected from Sea Park owners like Blackstone Corp. (the company who owns Sea World)
There is a link to a letter that could be written to Blackstone Corp. asking them to start moving the captive Orcas and other marine mammals to transitional coastal and wildlife sanctuaries.
http://tinyurl.com/cdchjx6
Please join me if this resonates with you in saying MBO’s for their cause.
Some that i could think of are…

“I ask any and all beings to send soothing and comforting energy to all the whales in captivity.”
“I ask any and all beings to guide all Sea Park companies to make decisions that would serve the highest good and well being of the Whales that they have captured or bred.”
“I ask any and all beings to aid and assist our government in passing legislation that would prohibit capturing and breeding whales and dolphins for human entertainment.”
“I ask any and all beings to assist all sea parks to start making plans to move their Orcas and other marine mammals to transitional coastal and wildlife sanctuaries.”
“I ask any and all beings to support the Whale Watching programs where people can see these magnificent creatures in their natural habitat.”
“I ask any and all beings to guide parents to family activities that would serve the highest good of all.”

Thank you Tom, MBO’s are powerful and if we say these together I know it will have a wonderful impact.

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you 🙂

MBO PASS IT FORWARD

Adrienne writes:  Awhile back, I sent you an MBO story about the very first MBO I ever said. My two dogs were terrified of thunderstorms and, as a big storm was approaching, I asked for help in keeping them calm and giving me the strength to cope with their fear through what was going to be a very bumpy night. Then, as the storm raged outside, both dogs snuggled up next to me and slept through the whole thing. They were never afraid of thunderstorms again. From then on, I’ve been a believer!

Recently, a friend mentioned that a thunderstorm was approaching her home and she was dreading it as one of her (very large) dogs was also terrified of thunder. I had to tell her about MBO’s and my experience. She followed the instructions and, that night, for the first time ever, her Lizzie also snuggled up next to her and slept through the entire storm. The next day she used another MBO for a different, sick dog with equally good results. She’s also now a believer.

MBO FOR MOUNTAIN PASS DRIVE

Shirley writes:  I prayed for a MBO when I was to take my son over the mountain passes in stormy, snowy weather to pick up and ride his motorcycle home two weeks ago.  I asked that the storm pass, the sun shine, the roads be clear and that we wouldn’t have to drive (150 miles) all the way.  Just before we left, his buddy called to say he would meet us half way.  As we left the house, the clouds broke up and the sun shone the whole way. When we met his buddy, he said we wouldn’t have made it over the pass with my car as it was snowing like crazy and traffic coming from our direction was backed up two miles.  They unloaded the Harley and I followed my son home with dry roads and sunny skies!  Now THAT’S truly an answer to a mother’s MBO prayer!!

Thank you and thank you again for ‘giving’ us this precious ‘tool’.

MBO FOR THE PERFECT HOUSE

Bob writes:  I have to share something that happened to me years ago..  I was unaware of MBO’s but I did talk to the Universe out loud and let it be known what I needed.  And it worked for me then as MBO’s work for me now.

At the time, I was desperate to get out of my apartment and into a house.  One experience with my best friend that was a realtor left me dubious about the process so I had a chat with the Universe and I specified directly what I needed and the type of person I needed to help me find a house.

A day later, a phone call from a new realtor in the area made me feel like my prayers were answered.  She gave me tasks to do and places to go.  On one of the days I had to look at a number of houses she specified I should look at, I was becoming discouraged. It was raining cats and dogs, finding some of the addresses was challenging, and some of the houses were just dismal looking. I had two houses to still look at and I was disgusted with everything and threw the list in the backseat and said, “Enough, I am going home!!”  From the backseat came a voice that said, “Your house is next on the list.”  I said, “No.”  From the backseat, “One more house.” “Fine.” Still looking forward, I reached into the backseat and grabbed the piece of paper.  I drove to the street I was supposed to go down.

As I turned into the street, I did a bit of a double take.  I had always thought it would be nice to live on this street.  I had once gone to a garage sale at the beginning of this cul de sac.  I drove to the end and looking for the house, looked to my right, and went there it is.  I pulled up to the address.  I got out and looked in all the windows and at the yard and called the realtor and asked her to come let me in so I could see the house.  As I crossed the threshold of the house, the house said, “It’s about time.  I have been waiting for you for over a year.”  A month later, all papers were signed and I moved in.  My friend was upset with me for a few years, but she got over it.  She was not right for the task at hand and my guides found me the person that I requested.

I have lived here for 14 years now and I love my house.

Now today, Bob would simply say, “I request a Most Benevolent Outcome for the PERFECT house for me, thank you!”  Five years ago, we decided to downsize, as our kids were grown and we didn’t need to live in the most expensive area of Dallas for the school system.  My wife kept dragging me out of the office to look at houses and I started requesting a MBO to buy each house, knowing my GA would not let it happen unless it was the right house.  We even made an offer on a house and lost it because someone paid full price.  Then I said the above MBO request and voila!, the next day my wife found the perfect house for us.

I have a new article on the website under Articles & News.  I wrote it for Brad Steiger’s forthcoming book Real Encounters, Different Dimensions, and Otherworldly Beings out next June.  Title is CONVERSATIONS WITH MY BROTHER ON ANOTHER PLANET.  It’s all about my soul “cluster” brother, Antura.

Please email me your MBO stories to show others how to use this simple tool to TomTMoore6(at)aol.com.  Now for some inspiring stories.

MBO ON TRIP TO HOSPITAL

Cary writes:  I lost my job three weeks ago. I have been asking for MBO’s. Then my Dad has major stroke yesterday. From Smithville to Houston, I asked my MBO about getting there #1, then getting there in time.

MBO answered, we arrived 30 minutes before the Doctor. came out the other family had been waiting for 12 hours. The doctor came out, the news was not positive, he sent the Hospice doctor over and it was decided in two hours.  I was available, my son and husband were available for this family event we found our way to Houston, managed to avoid a collision at 2-second interval. And arrived home safely tonight. My house was safe, my animals and plants were safe.

BP’S FOR MOTHER’S PROBLEMS

Silvia writes:  My mom in Switzerland bought your book and is using MBO’s – sometimes she forgets – lol – however I remind her of it.

So the other day she had her car needing a big repair done – otherwise it would break down – then her stove stopped working and her laundry machine was heating up. So I reminded her of the MBO’s and told her I will say a BP for each of them separately. The Result: the car got fixed at a good price – EXCEPT the guy charged her a fortune for his labor (I guess we should have been a bit more precise on this one). A fireman neighbor who is also an electrician came over to Mom’s house and was able to fix her stove and machine – she only had to order a switch for the laundry machine the rest was free. YAY – Thank You Angels – Universe and All beings – I was very happy for her and so was she.

MBO A LITTLE SLOW BUT WORKED!

Laurie writes:  Today I experienced parking MBO that had me laughing out loud! I had requested a parking spot as close to the door of a store I was going to, and
when I arrived all the spots were filled. Since I was halfway down the row, I had to back up to find an open spot behind me. That made me a little grumpy. Then I noticed that the spot I was trying to angle into had a shopping cart in it. That made me grumble. Some MBO, I thought.

But in the time it took me to do these maneuvers, a car backed out of a spot right in front of the store. I laughed my head off the whole time I parked my car in that spot! Never doubt your GA’s! Never stop saying MBOs!

MBO FOR NEW FAN

Lee writes:  I was at a Big Box home improvement store pricing a ceiling fan for my vacation home. I found one that I liked but it was $138. I wasn’t buying that day so I made note of the fan information and left. The next day my husband and I went to the same store in our hometown to return some things we didn’t need. Before I left the house I said a MBO to find a bargain at a price far cheaper and better than I could imagine. After returning our items we started to browse the store and ended up in the fan department. Here was the identical fan marked down to clearance for $69.99! You can bet I snatched it up and thanked my angels for fulfilling this MBO! Thank you, Tom, for spreading the word on MBO’s!

MBO FOR TRIP TO ZOO

Lee also writes:  I have a beautiful MBO to share. My husband and I took our grandson to Busch Gardens for the day. The day before we left I asked for an MBO for a fun-filled day and for an unforgettable experience with the animals. Well, we stopped at the Animal Care Center just in time for them to bring in a pregnant female bongo (a type of antelope) in distress. They had her sedated and needed to remove a mass in the birth canal so she could deliver her baby. After removing the mass the doctor delivered the baby himself. It was amazing to watch. Unfortunately the baby did not survive but the mother will be fine. It was an unforgettable moment and my grandson was able to understand the life process in a way that wasn’t frightening to him. He asked a few questions during and after and we said a little prayer for the baby’s guardian angel to keep her safe. It truly was an unforgettable experience.

MBO’S FOR VIDEO PRODUCTION

Rick writes:  I have a couple of MBOs for you. As you know, I have written a screenplay that is in development. The producer is putting together a crowd funding video for the website Kickstarter.com, in order to raise seed money, which in turn will give us financing to pursue fundraising through venture capital, private investors, etc., as well as allow us to attend conventions to pitch to studios and distributors.

Last week, I needed to record two interviews from broadcasting professionals that I worked with over the course of my career. One is a recognizable sportscaster on network television. The other is a state legislature here in NJ who has done battle with our very controversial governor. The sportscaster lives within 2 miles of a state university with a baseball stadium that they share with a minor league baseball team. The professional and courteous thing to do is to contact the athletic director and ask permission to use the facility. She refused to let us in the ballpark, even went so far as to say the team was practicing on the date and time we needed the park. Keep in mind we only needed it for 20 minutes.

I was not deterred. I set the date and time anyway. The broadcaster and I had a back up plan in case the campus police kicked us out off the campus. Prior to my trip (it’s 90 miles for me), I said an MBO, requesting that we be able to shoot the interview freely and willfully. While we did not enter the stadium, we found a nice spot outside the main gate. It took the sportscaster 20 minutes to get his interview to the point where he was comfortable with it, but we got it. The shot was nice (I must pat myself on the back!) and the best part was that nobody bothered us. No campus police, no curiosity seekers. Nothing. What we both noticed though was that we never heard any indication that a practice was taking place in the ballpark. The AD simply didn’t want to bother with us. Sigh.

The latter case, the legislature, took 5 months to get to sit down. He owns a sound stage in NJ near Philadelphia. I said an MBO for a great interview in an ideal location. Since the sound stage was available, we did the interview there, even using some of the lighting that he rents out to production companies…for free! A great interview!

I’ve had problems with my video camera in the past, so I always say an MBO for it to function properly, and it does so impeccably. The producer is pleased with my work as a videographer/field producer.

What is interesting is the number of “coincidences” that occurred this week. The sportscaster’s wife is well connected in the state, and gave us contact information on someone who might be able to help our production. Turns out, the legislature knows the guy as well and gave us our blessing to mention his name at contact!

Also, the story is a re-work of something that I wrote in 1995 and tried, unsuccessfully, to produce in 1996-1997. A number of suggestions that were thrown out this week in meetings with people we are working with were eerily similar to what was suggested back in 1996-97! In fact, the producer may be introduced to a potential investor very shortly…someone that the producer I was working with in 1996-97 (who has since passed away) knew and advised in the purchase of a football team.  What do they say about coincidences?

MBO’S FOR TRIP TO CABO SAN LUCAS

Cindy writes:  We had our vacation plans to Cabo San Lucas booked with the Marina Fiesta resort that is one of our timeshare exchanges. We own a one-bedroom unit, so that is what the trade entitles you to. Often when a resort has a two-bedroom that is not booked, they will upgrade you at no cost. Our son was going to be traveling with us for 5 of the 7 days, so the two-bedroom would have been great, a bed for him rather than a couch pull out. I emailed the resort and asked if they had any two-bedroom units available. They did, put it would cost $75 extra PER NIGHT! I said no thank you. They wrote back and said they could offer it for $50 extra per night. Again, I said no thank you, I was just seeing if it was available at no cost. Of course I said my regular MBO’s for our trip before we left.

When we checked in, they “confirmed” we were two people. I said, no, actually there are three of us. I noticed they key cards said 127/128. I asked what that meant. They told me these are two units with a lockout door in between. When we walked into the room, there were two queen beds with a full size kitchen in one room and a king bed with partial kitchen in the other, both private baths, and the combined patio that over looked the marina had our own, private jacuzzi! Plus we received a bottle of champagne, chocolate covered strawberries and an apple carved into a swan! Way more than we could ever have hoped for or expected! Thank you, Angels!

Peace be with you, Tom. Always look forward to Fridays for the newsletter!

MBO’S ON TRIP

Continuing on last week’s stories of MBO’s for our vacation to Geneva, New York, I request Most Benevolent Outcomes (MBO’s) for everything—the drive to the airport, parking the car, and taking the shuttle to the airport.  I didn’t feel good about the place my friends chose this time.  It was a hotel close to the south entrance to the airport, but I would class it as a low two star hotel.  We had no problem with the shuttle to the airport, but on the return they did not pick us up immediately as promised.  Perhaps we will receive a refund as the MBO.  Then I requested a MBO for going through the Security Line and had no problems.  When we boarded the plane we were on the bulkhead behind first class.  Normally my wife doesn’t like those seats as you have to put everything up in the overhead, but United Airlines had opened the space to allow us to put items under the first class seats.

In Chicago we ate at a restaurant near the gate.  The plane was late arriving, and then later departing.  We had to gate-check our carryon roller bags, as this was a regional jet.  By the time we landed we were an hour late, and by the time we all claimed our bags and made our way down to the rental car counters it was 11:00 pm.  Here’s where a MBO I had requested for a rental car came in.  We had booked the Dollar Rent-a-Car “Special Special” for $182, which did not guarantee what size car.  We did a backup with Thrifty at $207 just in case.

Naturally both rental counters were closed.  I’m looking around, and a lady named Emma I had a long conversation with in the plane (I always request a MBO for someone interesting to talk to) motioned for us to come over to the Alamo/National Rental counter.  Emma, and her husband were headed to a class reunion at Cornell.  She’s into angels so we had a great talk and have corresponded since.  They had obtained a $25 per day for three days rate.  I quickly requested a MBO and we did even better for four days–$23 a day and the nice rental lady chose a Durango SUV (normally much more expensive) with 3 rows of seats and a backup camera.  Total cost was $121 including tax, as I recall, saving us at least $60 with a much higher class car.

We drove to the Microtel Hotel in Geneva, which proved to be the perfect location for where we went in the next four days.  We did a wine tour the next day with Bonnie as our guide in her limo (naturally requesting a MBO).  We couldn’t buy any wine, as they don’t know how to ship in refrigerated trucks, which allowed us to spend money elsewhere for dinners, and my wife and I bought jackets.

We subsequently visited the Curtis Flight Museum in Hammondsport, NY.  Curtis was a genius with motors and held the land speed record for a motorcycle at one time.  He also invented many of the airplanes the allies used in World War I—the Jenny’s.  They had a number of early airplanes on display.  When we were about to leave, the girls went to a restroom, so I started talking to the director of the museum.  When he found out we were from Texas, he took my friend Frank and I back to a closed portion of the museum and showed us a P-40 fighter from the WWII era that had crashed in the Florida swamps they were just starting to restore.  Really a mess!  If you know anyone with P-40 parts, they need some donations.  A good MBO day.

I could go on and on with MBO’s but a couple more come to mind.  We went to Elmira, NY to visit the Mark Twain exhibit at the Elmira College.  We were very disappointed in it, as they had only two small rooms dedicated to one of the greatest writers of the 19th Century.  They could do so much more with even a full gift shop plus displays of the characters of the books, etc.  Afterwards they gave us a puny map to drive to up a hill to where he once lived.  I was looking down and passed through a red light a half-block before another light.  Frank, who was navigator told me I had run the light and there was a policeman right there.  I quickly pulled over to the curb, said a quick MBO, and waited for the policeman.  It took him a minute to even turn on his red lights.  We showed him the map, which he called “chintzy,” gave us directions, and didn’t give me a ticket.  The house was a bust too, as you could not get very near it.

On Sunday we visited the lighthouse at Solas Point on Lake Ontario and then drove down to the bottom of Seneca Lake for the Captain Bill Boat Tour of the lake.  Naturally with a MBO request there were only six of us on the boat, which the captain found unusual, as it was a sunny day and they were expecting capacity.  He thought it really unusual when the other couple lived in Shreveport, Louisiana and were really from East Texas.

The rest of the trip was fairly uneventful, although we arrived back at the DFW airport 30 minutes late because the pilot had to avoid thunderstorms.

MBO FOR PERFECT CAR

I was asked to change the name so Kelly writes:  Just to update you, I have been requesting a MBO for the perfect car. I thought the car I had initially wanted was perfect for me since I struggled to get financing for it.

Then I requested MBO for financing – purely because my bank does not finance freelancers like me – after gathering information, they contacted me to tell I qualify for a quite a significant amount of money – so I bought a car that’s slightly less.  Thank you for teaching about MBOs and BPs.

For the next day, I am going to be requesting a MBO for paying the loan within the year.

MBO FOR EBAY BID ON PHONE

Siobhan writes:  In July, I am embarking on a 500+ cycle ride from Devon, UK to Northern Ireland. It’s a bit of a pilgrim really as it’s the 20th anniversary year of my Dad’s passing and I haven’t visited his grave in 19 years! I have also used this adventure to raise money for a local Hospice. I want to raise a minimum of £1 per mile. I have said MBO’s and my fund raising has gotten off to a good start. I would really appreciate the weight of the MBO world community and ask for all your readers to say a BP or MBO to reach my target.

Can I add, for my trip I have invested in a smartphone to replace the need of netbook, camera, maps, books, etc. I said an MBO at to help me choose and get the best price and best mobile provider. With all the information I decided that eBay was my best bet and the phone I chose was going between £ 70 and £110. There was lots on sale and felt quite patient. Well, I won the second phone I bid on and for the bargain price of £54!!! Awesome, I LOVE MBO’s.

Thank you so very much to you Tom and your Guides for creating this community and spreading such a wonderful life tool. Love and Light to all.

Let’s say this out loud:  “I ask any and all beings to assist Siobhan on her cycle ride and to raise even more money than she can hope for or expect for the hospice, thank you!”

MBO FOR MEDICAL BILL

Lee writes:  Went to the doctors in April for a check up. I said an MBO for a good report and small co-pay.  Because of an insurance change they said to wait and see what was paid and they would send a bill for the balance. I got the bill and was surprised that it was $153.47. My insurance usually pays more.

Today I went to get the results of my blood work ( excellent!) and to pay the bill. Before I left I said an MBO for great results and also a more manageable balance to pay. When I checked out, the receptionist said my balance was $34.67. I asked about the past balance and she said that was the past balance and today was no charge because my doctor checked that it was my yearly physical and I get one free visit per year! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! for MBO’s and always sharing your knowledge with us.

MBO’S FOR DANGEROUS PTSD SITUATION

Lucy writes:  The Blessings I have requested are still sifting through the angels’ wings, following an appalling demonstration of how not to handle a PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder) situation.

Despite everything, the angels are doing their Great Things! In a 10 hour literal siege when (let’s call him “Pete”)was hunkered down in his basement apartment, with the SWAT team throwing everything they had at him (there are two windows still intact in the condo) in an excellent demonstration of mishandling, while I was begging, pleading and screaming at the ineptitude and the arrogance that “They knew how to deal with Pete and PTSD and they did not need any help from the army base located 5 miles away,” because “they” had  just attended a seminar.

I started the MBOs on the 28th when I realize he was having a flashback to a war zone, and Pete sent a text saying an MBO would be good.  I was 4 mid-western states away on a camping vacation when I first realized there was a big problem. And I kept them going.  I asked any and all beings that he be kept as safe as possible and the MBO be better than I could hope, dream or imagine.

From 4 p.m. to midnight on the 29th, I was kept on the scene and away from it. I could see and hear flash-bangs going off and hitting the windows and the glass breaking. The doors were forced open, garage door had a big hole and the window well grates which they could not remove had holes cut in them or were torn off. They kept asking if I was certain he was in there.

Around 6 p.m. the lady at the house where they had me standing in front brought me some blankets.  I went into her house and said, “I ask any and all beings to keep Pete safe and protected by by all.”

The lady of the house asked if she could do something for me. I told her that if she had a prayer circle she knew of, would she please call them and ask for prayer.  I believe she called four circles and then they expanded.

When they made me leave at midnight, I was upset. I walked into my friend’s house and announced, “All Right! Michael the Archangel, I’m asking you to aid, comfort and protect your soldier and bring a compassionate resolution to this thing as soon as possible. I ask that the Blessings from this far outweigh the damages. Hold Pete safely under your wings and let light filter through to those out there that are angry.  I expect great things”, etc.

We heard at 6 a.m. that they took him out of the mutilated, tear-gassed basement around 2 a.m.  He was taken to the hospital. We got dressed and rushed down to try to see him before the word was out for no visitors.  His head and face looked good, since he wore a gas mask, flack jacket and combat helmet. “Critical, but stable.”

The SWAT team, after their entrance, had broken everything in their way. They could not find Pete. They reacted like spoiled brats, breaking my kitchen (oak) chairs and (We have not been allowed in the house yet, so there’s more, if the glance I got before the door was boarded up was any indication.) Pete had evidently beat them at their game and they did not appreciate his abilities following the two decades in the military that enabled it.  He was three steps ahead of the SWAT team at every juncture. He taught survival.

Crime scene investigators were finally called in as my friend and I had insisted Pete was down there, somewhere.  We rushed back to the house, thanking the angels all the way. I wanted to get our dog. He had been with Ron.  I was told there was no dog. My friend and I began running the perimeter of the crime scene tape, calling for the dog.  She called everyone she could think of and I did also. Finally, (after I asked St. Francis of Assisi to take care of  our pet) a homicide detective decided maybe I was pretty sure the dog was in there and brought the team back to look.

The homicide detective had returned his team when he realized we were not just hollering “Brandy” because we wanted a drink.  They found Brandy under the futon Pete had been found on, all of which were under a very large (12 inch square) support beam and wallboard which had fallen on them when the roof collapsed, due to being cut or caused by the fire by the door on the ground floor.

Talk about PTSD! That little fella, Brandy, was all alone for close to eight hours, after being subjected to a firestorm of flash-bangs and at least one explosive devise for 10 hours. And he is petrified of loud noises. He is doing better and will continue to improve.

Doesn’t sound that good, does it? Blessings include, Pete is alive, albeit with a deep laceration on his leg and a bone broken in 6 places which will probably need to be pinned, and compression injuries; the insurance does not have a “no pay on police action clause;” Brandy is shaking less and alive; the next door neighbors have taken us in until we can decide what to do; the boys are earning funds pulling weeds, picking up other people’s trash, and hoping to capitalize on the photo op next door by charging those taking pictures!; a friend is assisting in dealing with the paperwork, and, perhaps best of all, Pete more than likely will have to enter a facility with actual experts in the treatment of PTSD; Pete’s Websters Unabridged Dictionary is dirty but un-burned; I was ready to move anyway; (and I may write a book on a “better way”).

The latest is the negotiator is strongly recommending the original charge of a level 5 felony (minor slap on the hand) menacing be the only charge he faces and the SWAT Team and police teams agree. The Angels are working on enabling the “Vet Court” to hear the case, which is a court for soldiers with Pete’s problem. And it keeps improving.

It can only get better from here!  Let’s all say a Benevolent Prayer out loud for Lucy.

Everyone say this, “I ask any and all beings to assist Lucy, Pete, the children, and Brandy and may the results be even better than we can hope for or expect, thank you!”
