BP FOR LOST BILLFOLD
My son-in-law Matthew went for a haircut last week. Upon his return home, he changed clothes. At some point he discovered he had lost his billfold. He and my daughter searched the house, but to it was not to be found. He returned to the place he had gone for his haircut, searched the parking lot, and still no billfold. She called my wife Dena to tell her the news.
Both Dena and I said Benevolent Prayers (BPs) for them to find the billfold. I simply said, “I ask any and all beings to assist Shannon and Matthew in finding his billfold, thank you!” Not too long after that Shannon called to say that she had found his billfold on the floor of her car where he had dropped it putting our grandbaby Brynna in her car seat!
MBOs & BPs FOR DIFFICULT CUSTOMERS
Severine writes: MBO / BP for dealing with a difficult customer. He calmed down and accepted my proposal. 🙂 “I request an MBO for dealing with (customer name), may we find the most benevolent agreement thank you.” Plus “I ask any and all beings to surround (customer name) with divine love and white light–may he calm down and may he accept the proposal and may the outcome be better than expected thank you.” I recommend this to anyone dealing with customers; I use these daily.
MBO FOR X-RAYS
Sandy writes: I had to have X-rays a few days ago. Thanks to an MBO I had almost no wait time before getting into the X-Ray room and getting that crap over with.
BP TO ARRIVE HOME BY 1:00 PM
Sara writes: Had to go in for a couple hours on my day off to help while my boss went to the dentist. I said a BP and had two others say it with me that I could be home by 1:00 pm. She got back plenty early enough, I was able to finish what I was going and still make it home by 12:58! Thanks angels!!

MBOs FOR DOG’S AND CAT’S HEALTH
Auntmommie writes: I have a MBO story for you……I have several animals….7 cats and 2 dogs. Most of them get along, in fact, one even takes long walks with both the dogs and me through the woods….and she manages to keep up in spite of the fact that her legs are very much shorter than the rest of ours. Anyway, my dog, Harley wasn’t feeling well. He was not himself and he stopped wagging his tail….which was weird. He’s usually very happy. He is a senior dog and the whole family was worried about him and how he was feeling. I waited two days to see if it would either pass or get worse before taking him to the vet. He didn’t get worse, but he didn’t get better either. On the way to the vet, I must have said about 4 MBO’s and BP’s for him to feel better and that the remedy be a simple and inexpensive one and for him to be able to come home with me. All those things happened. The vet bill was affordable, the poor thing had an infected anal gland, the doctor expressed it and gave me some pills to give him and off we went. He was back to his old self in a matter of days.
About a month later, my ragdoll cat, Abby disappeared from the house….or so we thought because nobody could find her. She was having the “scoots” and making messes everywhere. She is also a senior kitty, but she has been in good health most of her 11 years….but I worry. I found her deeply under one of the couches and when I got her out, I could see the mess on her backside. The whole ride to the vet, I did MBO’s and BP’s for the exact same thing I did for my dog Harley….illness easily remedied at an affordable price and no overnight stay. I even did one as we sat in the exam room waiting for her blood test results….which can be catastrophic with older cats. But, everything came back normal and the doctor said that the only thing she can find causing her to have soupy poopies was her food, so we changed it to a more digestive formula for seniors.
MBO’s and BP’s really work and my animals and I thank you for that, Tom.
MBO FOR ABILITY TO PAY FOR SCOOTER
Sandy writes: I am doing a layaway for a mobility scooter, and thanks to MBO’S I’ve not had any problems with the payments or having sufficient funds to live on.
I also did an MBO that I’d be excused from jury duty. I’ve medical issues that would cause problems. I was able to get a medical excuse on very short notice thanks to my GA.
MBO FOR IMPORTANT EMAIL ARRIVAL
Nancy writes: My husband wanted me to proof read his monthly newsletter, and it didn’t arrive in my email. So I did an MBO for it to show up, and all of a sudden it showed up! The MBO saved him having to go through a lot of hoops to try to get it to me in the time frame he needed! I was so happy that he didn’t have to jump through all of them, and that I could get it done right then!
MBO TO FIND LOST JACKET
Carol writes: A very favorite jacket of mine that I have had for years was not in my car where I thought I left it. I looked everywhere, tried to remember where I had left it. Said a MBO that I would find it, especially with the upcoming storm in CA. I called a restaurant I had had dinner at a few nights ago and they had it. Made me SO HAPPY.

MBO FOR TIRE REPAIR
I’ll begin with one of my own. Recently the warning light appeared on our car dashboard signaling a low tire. I asked my son to go and air it up. He said the pressure was down to 15 lbs. Two days later the warning light appeared again. When my wife and I went to the gym to workout (I always request MBOs for not only the drive to and from, but also for a good workout) afterwards we drove across the street to a Kwik Kar Automotive. The manager informed me that if the tire was repairable the cost would be $14.99. We returned home.
Later I asked our son to take the car to Kwik Kar. I requested a Most Benevolent Outcome (MBO) for the repair of the tire to cost no more than $14.99. When they examined the tire the repairman said it was unrepairable and wanted to sell a tire. My son reported what the repairman said, and I told him to have the tire put back on the tire and instructed him to go to Discount Tires, where we’ve bought tires in years past.
The tire repairman said we need tires in the near future, but fixed the tire leak (caused by a nail) for FREE! We did not know it at the time, but free repairs are part of their service, even for tires they did not sell you. Our tires came with the car when we bought it. Naturally we will buy our new tires from this company. Nice Benevolent Outcome!
BP FOR FRIEND’S BRAIN ANEURYSM
Angie writes: Jane, my friend Marie’s sister, was rushed to the hospital last week because she was found unconscious in her bathroom. The diagnosis was suspected brain aneurysm after undergoing a CT scan. She regained consciousness but was kept in the ICU due to swelling of the brain and internal bleeding. When Marie called to tell me about this, I immediately said a BP for Jane and the doctors and nurses treating her.
The medical specialist who was handling Jane’s case was complaining about the clarity of the CT scan results. He scheduled a procedure involving inserting a coil through her artery to burst a bubble in a vein in her brain that was supposed to cause the aneurysm. Jane underwent another CT scan just before the procedure. This time, the result was negative of any aneurysm and she didn’t have to undergo the procedure. Everyone considered it a miracle including the medical specialist.
MBO FOR MIS-FIRING SMOKE ALARM
Josephine in Dallas writes: My fire alarm, which is hard wired went off last Wednesday. I got a battery and gingerly got on ladder with injured arm, (it’s on the hall ceiling) and with great difficulty put in battery; got down, it went off, and when I got up again it fell off ceiling and hung by the electrical wires. When I got back up I couldn’t get battery out. I pushed on outside of it and it stopped. Whew!
It came on again at 3 am; got up and pushed on it– it went off next morning, so I pressed on it again. Had to get a few groceries, it was on when I came home; my dogs ran out when I opened the door and wouldn’t come back in. Called my daughter, and she came over, got battery repositioned and put in on the case and fastened to the ceiling, about the time she got home, it went off again (its a horrible ear piercing noise)!
I tried my old trick of pressing the case and of course it fell out of the ceiling, but pushing on case got it off again. By now a normal person would call an electrician, but to save money I went to Home Depot, got new one; the alarm was going off when I got home and dogs ran out when I opened the door and wouldn’t come back until they got a treat. Another night of up and down that ladder and I FINALLY asked for a Most Benevolent Outcome! This morning before I called an electrician, I was taking garbage out and a man who had done some work at my old house drove by and you guessed it – -he put in new alarm and also changed burned out light bulb over my carport – $20 bucks.
Not so much inspiring but a reminder to use M.B.O.’s for the small aggravations in life as well.
MBO WHEN POLICE CAR TURNS AROUND
Ashana writes: My first Most Benevolent Outcome was simply amazing. I was traveling down Rte. 16 in NH on my way to the Seacoast from the Mountains. I was passing cars heading up a steep hill in a four lane area. I saw the state cop pull over and turn around….I said my first benevolent prayer out loud and did not reach for my license and registration. I slowed down of course, and kept looking for the blue lights to come over the hill…Nothing! He just vanished!
Since then I feel like I live in God’s pocket. I am quite active energetically, and so appreciate my team and all they do for me and my world. It is just amazing! Thank you and Gaia for offering this prayer. Occasionally I do post on FB how to ask for benevolent outcomes, and make sure to pray out loud…What was my most recent outcome? The Patriots winning the super bowl! ASTOUNDING!
I’ve found that soul contracts are involved with which teams win. You can say a Benevolent Prayer that the team members play even beyond their abilities, and for no one to be injured during the game on either side.

MBO FOR FAST SERVICE AT POST OFFICE
Lee writes: I had to go to the Post Office to return something that I ordered that came damaged. (Reminder for future to say MBO for items ordered to arrive in perfect shape.) I said an MBO to have safe travels to and from the Post Office, a good parking space, and a quick in and out. Off I went; green lights all the way, parking space out front, and only one customer inside at a counter filling out something with two postal employees behind the counter. In and out in under a minute! Easy and stress free. Thank you for all that you do!
MBO FOR LAST MINUTE SHIPMENT TO CHINA
Severine writes from China: Outstanding BP of this week was the BP for the last minute shipment before Chinese New Year vacation we asked on your Facebook page.
My husband reported that the headband orders was finally shipped yesterday via Hong Kong DHL it was a miracle as it is almost impossible to book such shipment at the last minute. At this time of the year we need to book shipment at least one week in advance. Thanks to your BPs and followers and benevolent beings we made it.
As for the battery order, the suppliers accepted to negotiate, meetings are scheduled in 10 days; before the BP they did not want to discuss the issue. Now a door is open and we expect great things and better results than we could hope for thank you.
The BPs were as below:
“I ask any and all beings to assist Kenneth’s suppliers in shipping the headband absolutely tomorrow, may the outcome be better than expected, thank you and we ask any and all beings to assist Kenneth his company and his suppliers in finding a the most benevolent outcome for the battery order may the outcome be better than expected thank you”

MBO TO WIN ON POKER MACHINE
Mick in Queensland Australia writes: Hello Tom from Australia. Just thought I’d share an MBO experience I had on New Year’s. It started 12 months ago when I went to a Psychic and she told me I was on a spiritual path. Anyway long story short a month or so ago I downloaded an app which is called Crystal Wind Oracle cards, which after a reading of which I asked what would 2017 bring it mentioned something called a most benevolent outcome and some sort of windfall.
The first term of which was new to me so I googled it and your book came up so I bought it from I tunes and gave it a read. On New Year’s Eve I went down to the local pub and put a small amount of money in a new poker machine. After about 20 minutes of playing it came up with a random grand jackpot of $10,604.00!
I’m still blown away by this and really can’t wait to see how 2017 turns out with my new found spiritual knowledge. I’d like to thank you so much in writing your book and allowing an average Joe like myself to learn about such a skill. Marion in Canada writes: To let you know I have been saying a Most Benevolent Outcome everyday about women and children being used as sex slaves and now in Toronto, Canada they have rescued over 400 children and arrested many. Like wow!
Few people understand how powerful these Benevolent Prayers said OUT LOUD can be. I asked Gaia (soul of the Earth) about this just recently.
Gaia, I’m asked how does everyone or at least a number of people saying the same BP work?
Yes, Tom. This would be difficult to explain to even a quantum scientist, so perhaps just a little more this morning. When everyone says the same BP it sets up a very benevolent vibration in the universe—yes, not only this planet but the universe. And I and many other souls contribute and respond to this positive vibration, if you will. When enough people say the same prayer then you raise your vibrational level and all those all over the Earth, not, let’s say, just in the United States.
Therefore, you are tapping into a universal field when these prayers are all said together or within a short time period together. They have a crescendo effect. Violence has its own vibration and cannot occur if enough people say the same prayer. It blocks the vibration of violence.
Let’s let everyone “chew” on that for a while.

Sandy writes: Have a whopper: After encrypting new cell phone and going to bed it wouldn’t start up. After requesting an MBO I took it to the shop and they popped out and reinserted the battery. No charge.

MBO TO BE OF SERVICE
Raymond writes: This is my MBO……..It Worked Again!
I had to run to Target and pick up a few items the other day. Before I arrived at the store, I said a brief prayer like I have done before (but don’t always do) and asked for a pleasant experience and that I would be able to help someone even if it was a small token of kindness. Something that would brighten their day and the outcome would be better than I expected.
I entered Target like everyone does. I grabbed a basket, looked around and noticed that the store was less crowded than usual. So far, so good! I opened the small basket in the front of the cart (where children sit) and noticed that there was a red folder in there. It was the same color as the red basket, the same tone. It was almost camouflaged against the basket.
I opened the folder and discovered a lot of personal information, insurance receipts, car registration and an application for SNAP; assistance with food subsidies for someone that needed them.
I was going to wait until I finished my grocery shopping to turn it into Customer Service, because I was at one end of the store and Customer Service was at the other end. Then, I decided to turn it in immediately, because I would be shopping for about 30 minutes and I felt it was best to turn it in as soon as possible.
I turned around and starting moving towards Customer Service. I observed a woman walk in the store and begin checking the baskets. She approached a clerk and I heard him say something about ‘turning it in to Customer Service’. I reached the woman, held up the red folder and asked: ‘Is this what you are looking for?’ When she turned around and saw the folder her mouth dropped open and it looked like she had lost her breath. She thanked me several times as I told her I was on my way to Customer Service. I told her we had good timing.
It makes me wonder if my decision to turn around and go to Customer Service was a personal decision, or if I was nudged by an angel above and was not aware of the influence.
Whatever the circumstances, I was able to brighten someone’s day in a way I would have never been able to anticipate. I don’t know if the events and the outcome would have changed if I had done anything differently; but as far as I am concerned, MBO’s work!
MBO FOR LESS SNOW, BPs FOR AILING IN-LAW
Gerry writes: Saw your request for MBOs. I do so many for mundane things, but one I especially remember was last month. Our state gets very little snow, but last month our half of the state was promised four inches for the weekend. Anytime we get that much, it almost paralyzes the area. I did an MBO for our neighborhood to be spared. We got a small flurry and then lots of rain, while the neighboring counties were all snowed in. At least my son-in-law could get out to check on his ill father.
BPs are wonderful too. My son-in-law’s father was diagnosed with leukemia last April and since his body could not take treatment (he’s 83) his doctor gave him 1 to 2 months to live. His family was devastated and could not let him go, so my daughter and I did BPs for him every day. He’s still alive but getting weaker so we’ll probably soon be doing BPs for a peaceful transition and for his family to let him go and be thankful for the time he has been given. Wish I had known about MBOs and BPs 20 years ago when my 77 year old mother was diagnosed with leukemia and refused treatment. She died two days later.
I am so grateful that I found your newsletter and learned about MBOs. My life has been so much better since then. I just wish everyone I know could accept them, but some of their beliefs are different and they can’t. Keep up the good work Tom, you are really appreciated.
MBOs FOR MISSING FOLDER, SS CARD, & GIFT
Joan writes: I have been using your MBOs since I first read your newsletter. I have to admit I was skeptical, but no more. I’ve had two results that really stunned me. My husband had misplaced a very important insurance folder that contained an insurance claim. He had looked everywhere in his office with no luck. I said the MBO and looked on his desk under some papers and the file was there. I was so relieved. Thank you for this wonderful prayer.
# 2: Answered MBO: I had said the MBO three different times before the prayer was answered. I was beginning to think it was not going to be answered. I had misplaced my SS Card and a $200.00 gift card. I had previously looked all over my dresser and jewelry box. I had just checked my jewelry box again and there was nothing there. I went in the other room and came back for my rings. There was my SS card and the $200.00 gift card. They absolutely had not been there prior. Thank you so very much for sharing this knowledge with us. I know I am one of many that are learning so much from your teachings. Please keep up with your information and including us, your followers, with the knowledge.

MBO FOR ENGINE LIGHT PROBLEM
Angelika writes: Two days ago the engine light came on in my car, I checked the gas cap, even got some gas, checked the engine coolant….it was down maybe half an inch. I didn’t have any engine coolant so would have to buy some. I closed the hood and did an MBO…. I request the engine light problem would be solved easily and affordably and that the result would be better than I can hope for or expect……. Thank You (3 times). I started the car to go and do some errands, the engine light was still on….. I stopped at one store and when I started the car the engine light was off….and has stayed off so far…. Yipppeee!
MBO FOR PROBLEM WITH DOG
Ann writes: My dog was acting off. I did an MBO and then “knew” she was constipated. Another MBO, I was inspired to act, and a minute later all was well.

Severine writes: I would like to say “thank you” to you and to all loving people who said this BP last weekend for my health. I am getting much better; the doctors and nurses who took care of me at the hospital were professional and benevolent. I went two days ago for my final checkup, and the doctor said I was responding well to treatments. Now I am at home have and have Chinese herbs to take. Thank you all for the many MBOs. The BP was, “I ask any and all beings to aid and assist Severine in receiving healing energy and the best treatments in the coming days. May she return to full health even faster than we could hope for .We expect great things thank you!”

I was looking the most part of last year for the perfect tenant, and said the following MBO many times.
“Dear Guardian Angel, I request a Most Benevolent Outcome for the perfect tenant. May the results be better than I can hope to or expect.”
Last month, suspicious characters started asking me for the advertised room through the site I posted. This was the second time these people were asking for the room and I was contemplating closing my listing immediately.
Just before I was about to, an Asian student emailed me saying he needed the room. And he wanted to have a look. I told to myself: “Here it goes, he will come here – look at the place and decide it’s not for him.” But my instinct told me this visit is different. When I met him, I knew he was going to take the room.
So far so good – he’s a good chap.

MBO FOR SALE OF HOUSE
Diane writes from the UK: I really had to let you know this wonderful MBO story!
I have a very nice Accountant whom may I say is a typical accountant, numbers and figures are his game. A few years ago I introduced Alan to MBOs. He was astounded to hear me say that MBOs truly work and Bless His Heart he began to say a few a day. Not too many of course! Ha! Ha!
Anyway, last week Alan emailed me to say that a lady in his office was having great difficulty selling her Mother’s house. Hesitatingly, he told her about MBOs and said that if she would try them, he would also ask for an MBO for the house to sell.
On the morning that the house sold, Alan said that he awoke knowing he wouldn’t have to say that particular MBO again. He went to his office and sure enough, his colleague told him that the house had sold! That was when he emailed me to tell me this wonderful story.
MBO KEEPS HIM FROM ACCIDENT
Aravind writes from Australia: Forgot to write about this MBO: This was way back in February when I would commute to my workplace, which was located about 40kms away from home. Usually I say MBOs for a good working shift, not so much when returning home.
This time I said an MBO probably because I worked two consecutive shifts and was beginning to feel drowsy at the wheel. The MBO I said was – “I request a Most Benevolent Outcome for a safe trip home.”
Some minutes later I was at a traffic intersection, where I had to turn right and then onto the highway. The lights on my side turned green and I was beginning to turn right when suddenly, a police vehicle came unexpectedly from my left side.
The traffic lights on my left side was red. Usually police will put sirens to warn other drivers of an emergency, or if they intend to pass a red traffic light.
In this case, I was just inches away from a collision. Considering I was sleepy and a bit late in applying the brakes, this incident is nothing short of a miracle. Thank you Guardian Angel!
MBO FOR MISSING THERMOMETER
Laurie writes: This is the Tale of the Missing Meat Thermometer! On Thanksgiving I was cooking my dear little turkey bird and knew I would need my meat thermometer to check the temperature of the meat. So I went to pull it out of the kitchen drawer, where it has always been kept, in order to take it out ahead of time. I could not find that thermometer anywhere. It wasn’t in any of the kitchen drawers, it wasn’t in a kitchen cabinet, it wasn’t in the last place I looked. I pulled out every utensil organizer I had and spread the contents out on the counter. Nada. The thermometer had disappeared.
Then I remembered you telling us about your Case of the Missing Pie. Rifts open up and objects get displaced. Sometimes they come back. Sometimes they don’t. With that in mind, I requested an MBO for my meat thermometer to come back from wherever it had gone. I also allowed for the possibility that I had simply missed seeing the thermometer despite my exhaustive search, and requested an MBO to please help me find the thermometer.
A short time later I found the thermometer. It was in the kitchen drawer it was supposed to be in. It was in the same utensil organizer it was supposed to be in. I don’t know which MBO was answered, but one of them saved me from overcooking my Thanksgiving turkey.
Who needs Sherlock Holmes to solve this sort of mystery when we have MBOs!

MBO FOR WATER TO START RUNNING
Sara writes: Woke up early on my day off for “no reason”, to find no water this morning. We need to run errands today so said MBO and BP they would get it working by 11 at the latest before I called the emergency maintenance line. MBOs FOR SAFETY OF CASH & SON
Carole writes: Tom, the following is my best MBO story yet: When my husband and I travel, I do an MBO that our keys, our cards, our wallet/purse, our monies etc. are always safe. I hardly every use it once home. But, the other day I was on the car and had $200 cash in an envelope in my purse. It was to pay the entertainment my women’s group had for their Christmas gathering that day. But, on the drive I wanted to stop at a store to get a refund for something I purchased.
So I thought, I best say an MBO for safety for the cash I have in my purse in a small envelope—namely $200. I said the MBO. I had asked for a quick exit and all went smoothly. I had taken my wallet out of my purse so I could place my refund of cash in it. I then left. I heard a man yell “Miss. Miss.” I looked back and a man was coming towards me with an envelope (with the $200 cash in it), which he told me I had dropped from my purse. I thanked him profusely and the Spirit help that made sure my money was safe. Isn’t that an awesome story?
By the way, a few weeks ago, I asked Theo about my veteran son. I also did a surrender prayer in trying to find him. Within a week he called. He is safe at another vet’s medical clinic. He is in a HUD/VA apartment now and I pray for his recovery and being able to make it on his own.
Also, would you say an MBO for all veterans, all mentally ill, all prisoners that all these institutions start using healing modalities, such as reiki, labyrinths, aroma therapy, past life regression, or anything you can add to this? I ask the Highest good for all concerned. So be it and so it is. Thank you.
Here is a BP to say for our veterans: “I ask any and all beings aid and comfort all war veterans to assist in their full recovery, and for the institutions to try alternative healing methods that will be in the best interests of their patients, thank you!”
MBO FOR REPLACEMENT OF CELL PHONE
Lee writes: Had to replace my cell phone (ugh) and said an MBO before I went for the best deal, a pleasant experience, little to no wait and a kind sales representative. Walked in the door of the phone store and a delightful young man greeted me and I explained my dilemma with my phone. He took several steps to fix the issues and it was back to working order but I decided to upgrade anyway.
Got a good deal on the phone, all accessories at 20% off, a mini iPad for $50 (which I can use for my business and save my phone) and a most delightful conversation while my information was being transferred from one phone to the other. I was there for 2 1/2 hours and thoroughly enjoyed every minute! I had blocked out three hours for the expected amount of time as I always have questions and don’t like to be rushed into any decision.
Also met a nice woman who was from my home state and who had parents that lived in the community that I have a condo in now. And the delightful young man is from a small town in NC where my cousin lives so we had a nice chat about the area. Expect great things and great things happen!
MBO FOR FLIGHT HOME AND MIGRAINE
Severine writes: I have a couple of BPs to share.
1) Benevolent flights and rides to get home for Christmas:
A big thank you to you and everyone who said this BP for my husband and me last week on Facebook. [on my Facebook page]
We flew first class for the first time at a very competitive price and had enjoy safe rides on to get from China to France for Christmas. We have said these BPs on your Facebook page, ” I ask any and all beings to assist Severine and Kenneth in choosing in a the next 24 hours the most benevolent ride for Dec 24 may it be quick, safe and at the best price possible thank you. “ And for everyone who said the BP we have said ” I ask any and all beings to wrap up with love and light anyone who says out-loud this BP may they enjoy peaceful, healthy and happy holidays thank you! ” I hope everyone is enjoying most benevolent holidays.
2) MBO for Migraine
On last Monday I had a huge migraine I requested an MBO to be healed body mine and spirit so that my headache goes away divinely my mum said this as a BP. Needless to say my migraine was gone within less 15 minutes without any pain killers.
MBO FOR DONATIONS AND DOCTOR’S VISIT
Connie writes: I have a group meditation each Sunday at 9:00 pm. I send out a reminder each Sunday morning with a short (or sometimes not so short lol) story. My friend, Jerry Shelton, suggested I send you the following which went out today. He thought you would be interested.
BTW Jerry and his wife Rae introduced me to THE Gentle Way a few years ago.
OM Gosh. All we have to do is ask. I almost feel as if I should name the story that follows. But what? Well…
DH (Dear Husband) and I do not exchange Christmas gifts. In fact we do very little gift giving during the season that is supposed to be jolly but very often is the most stressful time of year. Usually we find someone who can use a little help or donate to an organization that speaks to us. This year I decided to assemble bags of warm and fuzzy love for homeless people. The bags would contain scarves, socks, gloves, beanies, chap stick, toothbrush, soap and all sorts of goodies.
I am a member of a small group of big-hearted friends who meet monthly. So as I am gathering up warm and fuzzy gifts I suggest to the group that anyone who would like to help stuff the bags and perhaps contribute to the bags could do so at our monthly meet that was a week ago today. On Sunday. Well, holy moly. We stuffed the bags and had enough warm and fuzzies to stuff at least a dozen more. Now, you may not know this but socks are the most requested item for the homeless. We had 104 pairs of socks donated. This is a fun lovin’, love livin’, livin’ love, big heart givin’ little group.
So my idea was for us to carry the bags around in our vehicles and when we saw someone that could use a little warm and fuzzy love we would hand them a bag. I brought some of the bags plus all the extra socks, gloves etc home with me.
Two days later, on Tuesday, after Sunday, DH and I decide we will take a road trip. Leaving a couple days after Christmas. So what to do with all the extras. I can hand out the bags on the trip. No problem. But it bothered me that socks and gloves and scarves were sitting in a box in my house when someone could be using them.
So now the real in your face miracle begins……
Wednesday the day after the Tuesday when we decide to take a road trip- DH remembers he has a doctor’s appointment scheduled during the time we will be on the road trip. Wednesday afternoon- the nurse calls and gives DH an appointment for 9:00 am Thursday. DH tells me. I say I can’t go that early. You know I have stuff to do. Coffee, meditation, reading. Important stuff. He calls and changes the appointment to 11:15 am Thursday. So now I have time for my important stuff.
Wednesday evening- I think about the extras and wonder what to do what to do what to do. What I do when I don’t know what to do is request A Most Benevolent Outcome. That would be asking and letting go. Thursday morning- we are on the road to go to the doctor and we see a young man with a bedroll on his back, walking bent over facing a bitter cold wind. As I drive pass him I remember I have one of the warm fuzzy bags in the car. I make a U turn, roll down DH’s window and DH hands the young man the bag, saying “merry Christmas”. The boy looks surprised and says “bless you”. And we are on our way.
Arrived at doctor’s office about 30 minutes before the scheduled appointment. As DH is checking in, I find a seat and declare it is cold and windy out there and it feels toasty warm in here. Not speaking to anyone in particular as there were probably 15 people who were also toasty warm in the waiting room and were most likely aware they were toasty warm and also knew it was cold and windy outside. But you never know.
Several grumble about waiting. One said they had been sitting there for an hour so was glad it was warm and toasty. One woman mutters something about the cold and I tell my story about the young man walking in the cold. That starts someone else telling about people not having shelter. And then I tell about the bags my friends put together and how I have all the extras that I was trying to figure out how to get into the hands and onto the feet of people who could use them.
Oh my. Well by this time some of the people in the room are telling stories and trying to help me and it just turns into a big ole love fest. Someone knows of a man who works as a banker during the day and works with the homeless at night. Someone else knows someone who knows about him and someone even knows someone who knows him. Cell phones are clicking and directions deliberated and discussed. After much networking with my old friends that I have met for the first time, I get a number to call.
When I talk to Evan he is just giddy with joy. He said last year he gave his son a hover board for Christmas and he will never forget the joy he saw in his son’s eyes. He said “when you said you had socks, I felt the joy I saw in my sons eyes last Christmas”. It just so happens Evan —-works in a neighboring town—- at a bank—- in a shopping center—- where I was going to be on Friday morning. Can it get any better? Well, yeah, it can and does.
I’m telling my new old friends about how this has worked out in so many ways. If just one of the events had not happened the story would have been so different. The change in the doctor’s appointment, seeing the young man in the cold, you the people showing up with the info needed. Wow! It led to much sharing and testifying and following your heart and believing and answers to prayer. Whew!
One young lady told us about her grandmother being ill. The gentleman sitting next to her said a prayer for the grandmother while holding the girl by the hand. As people were called in to see the doctor, there was good byes and merry Christmases and I’ll be praying for you. You know, what you say to friends as you are parting. If a band had started playing and a chorus starting singing I don’t think anyone would have been surprised. I’m not sure we would have noticed because we had our own celebratin’ goin’ on.
The biggest miracle of all, a doctor’s waiting room was a holly jolly place. Full of love and good will. Laughing and sharing and well…just a whole lot of being love. You know, what we really are when we aren’t afraid of being who we really are. If I hadn’t seen it I wouldn’t believe it. There just had to be some healing happenin’. If it can happen there it can happen anywhere. And it does. Ask for it. Look for it. You’ll find it.

MBO FOR VISA FOR DAD
Lisa writes: So much has been happening on my home front but when I needed help booking an appointment with the consulate for a permanent VISA for my 84 Y.O. Dad who lives in Mexico everything came into place once I said an MBO, my brother (in Vancouver WA) got the paper work in order for the process to go easily, I got flights in and out of Merida for him (he has Alzheimer’s) at a reasonable price plus good days for him to travel. Plus he gets to see family once again. Life is Good!! The MBO just opened everything up and everyone is happy! Thank you Angels!!!
MBO TO REDUCE SNOW STORM INTENSITY
Peggy writes: Storm was coming Lots of snow and below zero with wind chill. I said an MBO for the worst of the storm to be taken out and released over the water, if possible. Storm did take an unexpected turn and worst of it did bypass us. Thank you Angels!
MBO FOR PARKING & FOR NEXT CAR
Lee writes: Just went to the post office to drop off my Christmas cards. Did an MBO for a close spot so I could just run in and out. Crowded and crazy place but got a spot right at the front door. I also said an MBO for someone who needed a spot by the door to show up as I was leaving and an elderly man with a handicap sticker pulled in the street as I was backing out! How cool is that!
Then I was shopping in an office supply store and when finished went to the register to pay. There were three registers open and a single line to pay. I had several things so I let a woman go ahead of me who only had one item. Then a woman behind me jumped the line to go to that register when they were done which should have been my turn. The clerk pointed out that I was next but she started to argue that she only had one item. I said it was fine and just check her out.
Then it was my turn and as I was checking out the manager came over and gave me a $5 off coupon to use and thanked me for being so nice. I thanked him and chuckled and said that they must have important places to be and I was just enjoying the moment in line. He laughed and said he never heard that before. It’s as crazy or stressed as you make it to be. I had said an MBO for a good experience and pleasant shopping and it was!
MBO FOR NO SEA GULL POOP
Carol writes: I found you “accidentally” last spring (on Lee Carroll’s Kryon site) and am now a regular reader.
MBO: I live in a historic area with narrow streets near the ocean. Many of us have to park on the street and for years I regularly had to clean seagull poop off of my car. The parties they were having! My first test of MBOs was to request that the gulls never again leave any poop on my car.
And it has worked! I haven’t had to clean any off for over six months now. I’ve also loved being able to share this account with others; how can anyone argue when the evidence is so clear!
