THE GENTLE WAY BOOKS

Welcome to this edition of The Benevolent Outcomes Blog, and a special welcome to all my new subscribers from around the world.  Please feel free to forward this Blog to your friends.   Each week you’ll read my stories about requesting Most Benevolent Outcomes (MBO’s abbreviated), which are specific requests for your own Guardian Angel to assist YOU.

Last week, we went to Las Vegas for a TV program market.  The trip was smooth to Las Vegas.  I had requested a MBO for going through Security with ease, and it was easy—so easy that I forgot to put my briefcase on the conveyor belt.  Naturally a gentleman behind me put it on for me, and kidded me about it afterwards.  It was 6:00 am in the morning, but I made sure everything went through on the way back.

I requested MBO’s for each of my meetings.  I had one lady from Brazil email to tell me she broke her kneecap and would not attend, and another person from Venezuela made an appointment, but cancelled their trip at the last minute.  The people that appeared for our appointments, although only half the number as last year, were for the most part serious and seemed to have budgets to spend.  I’ll know more in the next week or two, but have several very promising deals working, which could potentially bring in three times the money the contracts did last year.  Each day I would say, I request a Most Benevolent Outcome for my meetings today, and may the results be even better than I can hope for or expect, thank you!”

The trip back was a real Odyssey.  We flew on American Airlines, and have never been one of their real fans, as I think they could do a lot better with their people skills.  I must complement the captain of our plane, as he was very frank and informative on a flight that was eventually delayed four-and-a-half hours due to bad weather in Dallas-Ft. Worth.  We circled around Texas and Oklahoma for a while until we ran low on fuel.  He then took us to Wichita, Kansas to refuel the plane.  One MBO was that the crew were already by this time “illegal” having gone over the hours they were supposed to fly, so that gave us priority in getting lined up to land at DFW when the skies cleared enough.

We took off from Wichita and flew around the Lubbock, Texas area for another 45 minutes or so before being cleared to head for DFW.  After landing we spent another 15 or 20 minutes waiting for the gate to open for us, and then another 45 minutes or an hour for the luggage.  We had landed at the ‘C’ terminal and our car was at the ‘D’ terminal, so I requested a MBO for the shuttle bus to be there when we walked out the door with our luggage, and one was about to leave when I knocked on his door, so we had absolutely no wait outside in the wind and rain.  It was pouring all the way home.  The next morning I checked my rain gauge and it read 3.15 inches of rain.  Since September we’ve had over 25 inches of rain at my house.  Gaia says she’s changing the weather patterns on a permanent basis and my rain gauge agrees.

ARE THERE ANGELS OUT THERE?

Gail writes:  “I’ve had so many blessings since asking for benevolent outcomes.  A lot of people are doing “intentions.”  I find this limiting because I tend to blame myself when this fails for my not being positive and “sure” enough.

”I like benevolent outcomes because you don’t have to totally believe that the benevolent outcome will happen – this takes a lot of pressure off.  Also, I was raised Catholic and love angels.  My question is – do you feel there are really angels out there – or is this just another way to do “intentions”?  How did you come upon angels and start believing in them?  Thanks for all you do, Tom.”

If you’ve read my book and read these blogs, you know I believe in Angels from KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE.  That’s the only true way to know for yourself.  As I’ve explained many times, when I ask questions and receive “thought packet”(as Theo describes them) answers, many times they’ll be an answer completely different than I thought I would receive, or believed.  Then you know you’re “tapped in”.  And it all started with requesting Benevolent Outcomes and seeing that there was a wonderful being assisting me! It seemed over time to open up my awareness to listen for those “whispers in my ear” knowing that it was not just my mind giving me the information.

MBO REQUESTS FOR SOLDIERS

Rhavda writes:  “Your newsletter is wonderful and a great accompaniment to your book. I have been working with MBOs since last March when you appeared at Satori in Ft. Worth, and this Christmas I have given away 10 books to friends that needed to work with MBOs.

”My question for you is: Have you any MBOs that we can use for our military people who are stationed around the world? This Christmas I gave my son, who is a Marine, a copy of your book but I feel I need to give him something shorter that will catch his attention that he can use. I am going to send him a portion of today’s newsletter in hopes that he will read and pay attention to it. Our soldiers need this type of inspirational information to help them through their darkest hours.

”Thank you for all of your work that you have done on your newsletters. I tell people all the time to go to your web site.”

Here’s what I’ve suggested in the past for those serving in war zones (and I know it worked at least with one Marine I was given information about):

“I request a Most Benevolent Outcome for my drive (trip etc) to __________, thank you!”
“I request a Most Benevolent Outcome for my return from this patrol safely, thank you!”

The request must be benevolent for all those involved in the request, so it would not work, for example, if he said he requested a MBO for killing someone before they kill him.  What actually would happen with the ones I gave before is that if he’s on a patrol, the “bad guys” might have just left that area, gone to eat, were called back by their commander, or whatever.  He comes back safe, but with no action.  It is truly a benevolent outcome for everyone.

And it has what I call in the book the “Radiant Effect” as those close by normally are in that “bubble” of energy surrounding the person who requests the MBO.  It might be a boring tour of duty, but he doesn’t pick up any Karma that has to be balanced later in this life or another.  That’s why I had to experience congestive heart failure in this life, Theo explained; I had killed some people in a war in another life and brought “heartache” to their families and friends, so I had to physically experience “heartache” this time around to balance the scales.

He can also say a Benevolent Prayer for his comrades:

“I ask that any and all beings assist and aid us in safely reaching ________, thank you!”
“I ask that any and all beings assist and aid us in returning safely from this patrol, thank you!”

Remember, his Guardian Angel handles the MBO requests and a whole set of “whole souls” that we call Angels INSTANTLY responds to the Benevolent Prayers. Theo says there are a little over 1 million of these souls handling all types of prayers around the world.  They’re great “multi-taskers” Theo says.

“YOU’RE NOT TO SPEAK TO ANGELS”

The next email I received from a lady with good intentions in HER belief system.  The email was too long for me to include here, so I’ll summarize.

Corinne writes:  1.  You are never to commune with angels, only God;
2.    By doing so you are communing with a demon;
3.    The Bible clearly states that you are not to do this;
4.    You will be judged more severely for doing so;
5.    I will pray for you;
6.    If you die without God’s spirit you will perish.

I believe those are the major points she makes.  So let’s start with point number two before taking up the larger question about communicating directly with angels.  How do I know I’m not speaking to some sort of “demon,” or to be more accurate what I would term lower level spirits that were incarnated on earth and due to drugs, alcohol, very base activities such as murder, are still hanging around and have not moved on towards the light.  I have written about these soul fragments before, and my friend Richard Sutphen has over the years had to call in the “Cosmic Cops” as he calls them to stop harassing clients of his.  Theo says the Cosmic Cops are actually “whole souls” that are not assigned to be a guardian angel for any particular person, but handle the duty of working to get these “lost souls” headed in the right direction.

One way I know is that I have never been asked to do anything that was morally wrong in any way.  Quite the contrary, Theo has repeatedly said that we must choose which road to take—they can only assist us through “inspiration”—those “whispers in your ear.” Of course, that’s where requesting Benevolent Outcomes greatly assists us.  We wind up on the “high road” through the many challenges we encounter during our life.

Now let’s take up the more difficult points one and three, which also incorporates four and six.  The Bible was assembled during the Council of Nicea (or Nicaea) in 325 AD, almost 300 years after Jesus’ death.  From reports I read, it was a very heated affair, with religious leaders from the Catholic Church, Assyrian Church of the East, Oriental Orthodox, and Eastern Orthodox all deciding which books to include and which not to include in the Bible; and taking up the issue of Arius’ teachings, which were widely accepted, that Jesus was not the Son of God but a great prophet.  Books that they rejected were supposed to be all burned, although I’ve been told that the Vatican has copies of all these excluded books in the Vatican Vaults.  You can read more about the Council by Googling or going to Wikipedia and entering “Council of Nicaea.”

So keep in mind that though the Bible was supposed to be “inspired,” it was actually put together by people voting.  It was also put together for that time period for a very uneducated people.  There was an obscure passage (I couldn’t find it by Googling but have read it before) that says we are not supposed to “speak to spirits.”  You can look on this recommendation as trying to keep people from having problems with lower based spirits discussed above, or with a more cynical viewpoint of being a control factor of making people only have their clergy pray for them.  Of course there is a passage in the Bible to kill your children if they disobey the word of God.  I don’t see too many people following that edict these days.

I obviously personally believe that we should all be in contact with our own Guardian Angels.  You may do so just by requesting Benevolent Outcomes, or additionally by contacting your own GA through Meditation.

FRIEND BLAMES HER

Laura writes:  “Hello Tom, I have been told that requesting a MBO for myself is demonic. Then I asked for a most benevolent outcome for my friend. She said the next day all ‘hell’ came at her and she was experiencing negative events; she blamed me for this. Then she says she hears whispered in her ear the word ‘benevolent’. That really flared her up at me, so I no longer speak to her about requesting a most benevolent outcome for ——.  Just wanted to share this.  Requesting a most benevolent outcome from this letter to Tom for a positive God sent result in His will. Thank you, thank you, thank you.”

For Laura and anyone new to requesting Benevolent Outcomes, prior belief systems can sometimes seemingly be at odds with requesting Benevolent Outcomes, but let’s take a look at the Webster’s dictionary definition of ‘Benevolent:’

“A kindly disposition to promote happiness and prosperity through good works, or by generosity in and pleasure of doing good works.” That’s exactly what your Guardian Angel wishes to do for you with love and joy at being able to assist you, even in the small mundane events in your life like driving to the grocery store, etc.

But requests for Benevolent Outcomes are for SPECIFIC things for you personally. If you wish to request something benevolent for your friend, you say what’s called a Benevolent Living Prayer, as a whole set of different angels handle those prayers INSTANTLY.  So for your friend you can say, “I ASK that any and all beings assist my friend with (whatever problem she’s having) and may it be the most benevolent for her, thank you!” You say “ask” because this is more general, my Guardian Angel Theo says, than the specific MBO (Most Benevolent Outcome) requests you make for yourself.

As another example, if there is some tragedy in the world like say an earthquake in Haiti, and you wish you could do something for those people, but aren’t able to, you could say, “I ask that any and all beings assist the people in (city or country) that are trapped, so that they may be rescued, thank you!” You say “any and all beings” because it could be a man, woman, child, rescue dog, cat, or even an Angel that becomes physical long enough to assist. I guarantee you’ll feel better just by saying this simple prayer.

Two other points.  Notice that Laura’s friend had a “whisper in her ear” with the word “benevolent.” That was her guardian angel speaking to her.  She just refused to listen.  And I wish to remind you that yes, we’re all humans and want love, appreciation, and thanks, but only you, your Guardian Angel, and your Creator need to know that you have prayed for someone else, unless that person is so despondent, depressed, and stressed that saying, “I said a prayer for you that I hope gives you some comfort” helps them.  They may thank you, or they may just acknowledge or even ignore your comment.  Then don’t mention it again.

If you read my book, I have a whole chapter on these Benevolent Living Prayers, as I now call them.  For many more suggestions, go to my website http://TheGentleWayBook.com.

Have a Most Benevolent Week everyone!

Welcome to this edition of the Benevolent Outcomes Blog! This blog is for everyone just discovering how to use this simple, yet powerful spiritual tool in your daily life.  It’s so easy, that some people can’t believe it works, but it does! I’ve been requesting Benevolent Outcomes in my personal and business life for 14 years now, so I KNOW it works from DIRECT EXPERIENCE and knowledge.  So try it out yourself.  Start with the mundane things in life like, “I request a Most Benevolent Outcome for my drive to work today, thank you!” Or, “I request a Most Benevolent Outcome for a seat on the train today, thank you!” Then as you build trust, you can request MBO’s (as I abbreviate) for the PERFECT job, home, or mate for you!

I’ll be traveling to Las Vegas for a TV market as part of my business distributing movies and TV programs internationally, and I can assure you I’ll be requesting MBO’s for my trip and sales meetings.

If you are already requesting MBO’s, buy a book as a gift for a friend’s birthday.  It will literally change their life!  Check out my website, where you can read or listen to my weekly newsletter (more advanced topics), articles I’ve written for magazines and a couple of sample chapters of my first book to get you started. The link is http://TheGentleWayBook.com.  Here are more stories from people requesting MBO’s in their lives.

LOTTO BENEVOLENT OUTCOME

Patricia in British Columbia, Canada writes: Thank you for the information on the birds. I have received your book “The Gentle Way,” also Robert Shapiro “Animals Souls Speak”.  Both have been extremely helpful.

When I first heard of MBO’s from the Sedona Journal of Emergence I was skeptical and didn’t use them then after reading your news letters I thought I’ll give it a try, nothing to lose, right!  Boy was I in for a shock. At first I requested parking as you suggested and it worked EVERY time.

Recently I was short immediate cash and called for an MBO, then forgot about it.  I was cleaning out my desk, at the time and I came across an old yellowed piece of paper with OLD lotto winning numbers, I ripped it in two and threw it in the garbage –then reached down and retrieved it, I asked my son for another form to fill out, as I had already filled one out and He was on his way out the door to go to the store as the draw was in two hours.

I tore up the first one and replaced it with the other; my son thought I had “lost it”,— using an old ticket.  Four hours later when the draw had taken place I had won $208.00, the amount I needed. I will never be shy about using MBO”s again and tell everyone who will listen.   THANK YOU TOM, – BLESS YOU-, KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK…

As I told Patricia, she’s the first person to write to me about winning anything on the lottery.  I do think it was because this was for a SPECIFIC need for her as compared to requesting a MBO just to win the lottery.

HOSPITAL BILL BENEVOLENT OUTCOME

This lady asked me to change her name, so Janet writes: In December, I had e-mailed you about a huge hospital bill and wanted a benevolent outcome.  You gave me the wording: “You might try ‘I request a Most Benevolent Outcome for being able to pay my hospital expenses, and may the results be better than I hope for or expect, thank you!’  Then allow a little time for your GA to put things in motion.  It might not happen overnight or in a week or so.

”That will allow your GA to get really creative in solving the problem.”

Wellllll, today I called the hospital’s patient financial services as I had gotten a notice that I was in collections about the bills.  Come to find out that the letters crossed in the mail – so now, instead of owing over $52K, they knocked the bill down to a little over $2K.

Please share this on your newsletter.

Janet also asked me for a MBO to request as she’s an actress, and this can work for any actors that read this article.  I suggested, “I request a Most Benevolent Outcome for the PERFECT acting job for me, and may the results be even better than I can hope for or expect, thank you!” And then stand back and watch your Guardian Angel works out the details.  I also suggested that each time she goes for an audition she says, “I request a Most Benevolent Outcome for this audition, and may the results be even better than I can hope for or expect, thank you!” Perhaps she’s not right for that part, but the producer or director remembers her and casts her in another production.

NEW YORK BENEVOLENT OUTCOMES

Laurie writes: I recently attended a convention in New York and wanted to tell you that MBOs worked for me yet again!  A few weeks before I left for the convention,
I asked that “helpful people” would be put in my path.  Well, were they ever!

During my trip to New York, I was asked to submit story ideas for an
anthology, was able to put my Atlantis novel directly into the hands of
an editor, and got a face-to-face appointment with a literary agent.  Are my
Guardians great or what?

Also, knowing that they were watching my back, I was not as nervous as I otherwise might have been flying for the first time since 2001.  I asked for an MBO for a smooth and uncomplicated flight to NYC and they delivered.  And I asked the same, particularly strenuously, on the return trip — considering that I was taking off from LaGuardia (we didn’t fly over the Hudson!).  My return flight took off ten minutes early, and arrived 30 minutes ahead of schedule.  My angels must have wanted me to get home fast!  I did too.

I cannot thank you enough for introducing me to the practice of requesting
Benevolent Outcomes.  They work every time.

OWNING A HOME BENEVOLENT OUTCOME

Diane in Dallas writes: I wrote to you that I got your book.  Well today I was told I could not have my home loan.  I prayed for MBO and a couple hours later I got the second letter from the realtor that I got the loan and I am finally going to own a home!!!!!!!!!!!!!  At 4:11 PM they told me the bad news and by 6:26 PM they had fixed it and I am going to closing!!!!

Diane referenced an email sent to her denying the loan and requiring her to provide all sorts of extra financial information.  Then she received the following message from another person at the Texas lending institution she had applied to:

“ We have fixed it….I have a migraine now….We scrambled and we got this done.  It was a miracle.  I can’t believe it!!!”

ANOTHER HOUSE MBO

Charlene writes:  I’d like to second Diane’s MBO outcome on buying a house.  It DOES work.  I first found out about you and MBO’s from Kathleen Shannon and Dick Sutphen about last July when it seemed totally hopeless that I could ever own my own home.  I started using the prayer right away and signed the paperwork for my home in September, 2008!  I’d say a couple months is a great turn around time for a miracle.  Thank you for the light you bring to the world!

And thank you Charlene for sharing such positive news!

OUT OF THE MOUTHS OF BABES

Diane in the UK writes:  Here is a delightful MBO story, which thrilled me because it involves my 7 year old niece, Jessica.

I bought ‘The Gentle Way’ as a Christmas Gift for my beautiful sister in law, Tracy, who has been having wonderful MBO successes. The other morning, busy Mum Tracy, on the school run asked for an MBO for a parking space near to the school.  Running a little late and becoming agitated with the rush hour traffic, Tracy again asked for an MBO for a parking space. Jessica then spoke up, ‘You know what’s going to happen now? You’re gonna get two spaces!’ and as Tracy said, ‘We did! That’s exactly what happened. There were two spaces, one in front of the other where normally you are hard pressed to find one’.  How funny!

One of the best parts about the story for me is that beautiful  Little Jess is trusting, by example from her Mummy, how to live and ask for MBOs. Wonderful!

Have a Most Benevolent Week!

Welcome to this edition of my Benevolent Outcomes Blog for everyone that enjoys inspiring stories from around the world from people using this simple, yet powerful spiritual tool each day in their lives.  It makes life so much easier when you do.  You start with the simple, mundane requests such as a parking spot or seat on a subway or train to gain trust that this WORKS!

As an example, you would say, “I request a Most Benevolent Outcome for a parking space next to _________, thank you!” Now you don’t do this one minute before arrival—you make the request as long in advance as possible to give your Guardian Angel (your GA) time to set it what with another GA so that a person who was planning to leave, leaves at the exact time you arrive.

Please feel free to visit my website http://TheGentleWayBook.com, where you can also read or listen to my weekly F.R.E.E. newsletters, articles I’ve written for magazines, a couple of chapters of my first book, and more!  You can even print out signs to help you to remember to request Benevolent Outcomes each day.

This week I’m going to discuss how to ask for Benevolent Outcomes for other people. The earthquake in Haiti is a good example, so let’s begin.

HOW CAN WE KNOW?

Susie writes:  “I know you are being flooded with emails concerning the earthquake in Haiti and all the suffering that is going on there.   I’ve been asking my GA and other spiritual beings to help these people but I guess my question is how can I be sure that my requests are being heard?  Hope this is not too trivial.  I really enjoy reading your newsletters.”

When you say a Benevolent Prayer for someone else, you don’t always see immediate feedback as you do with many of your MBO requests.  In my first book I described how saying a BP for a couple on a plane, who had left her purse at security, and seeing the joy they felt when she returned with the purse.  So you do have to say these and have faith that they do work.

In this case have you not read nor seen on TV the massive amount of aid both from governments and the general public, it is huge.  So the question is, have you said a Benevolent Prayer for these people yet? If not, say RIGHT NOW, “I ask any and all beings to assist the people in Haiti affected by the earthquake to be rescued, and to be aided in recovering from this disaster, and may the results be even better than we can hope for or expect, thank you!” You say “ask” instead of “request,” as a whole different set of angels responds to these Benevolent Prayers INSTANTLY!
If we have hundreds more people saying this prayer, think about the ENERGY that is created!  Pass this along to your friends, and perhaps lead your group in everyone saying this—not just you.

OHIO BENEVOLENT OUTCOMES

Peggy writes:  “Hearing you talk about requesting MBO’s has changed our lives here in Ohio.  We’re having some major construction work done on our home so I requested a MBO for our carpenters’ workday.  Before they left that day they remarked that they didn’t know what happened but their work just flowed effortlessly and they got so much done!  I told them I asked for a MBO for them.

”I told my husband Joe about MBO’s and he was so excited about trying this.  We both do it every day now and throughout the day for everything–it’s a wonderous feeling to know none of us are alone in this journey.  This past Monday Joe asked for a MBO prior to leaving for an out of town 2-day workshop he was teaching.  His fellow teacher came in to work that day horribly sick–so Joe said he could handle the class all by himself.  His co-teacher has 16 years experience–Joe is a new teacher with 8 months experience in teaching weatherization techniques.  8 months ago he was milking cows at an organic dairy and working at Wal-Mart.  Our area is so economically challenged and it took him 2-1/2 years to find his present job.  Everything was on the line with this class.

”The class turned out so great–his 27 students all wrote great reviews of their experience with him.  His new bosses were so impressed that he was willing to handle this class by himself and that he did so well.  Joe’s confidence has soared and his future looks bright with this company and in this new field.

”I do upholstery and continually ask for MBO’s on every piece of furniture I work on.  I was so behind in all my orders because of a recent move we made and all the construction work going on around here.  Now I’m completely caught up and once again feel professional, on-time and excited about the magic of creating beauty with great workmanship.  I was assisted in clearing the back-log by my angelic helpers.  Thank you Tom, for sharing this incredible awareness in so many of us!”

And thank you Peggy for sharing some great MBO’s!

LOST PURSE & CELL PHONE MBO’S

Laurie writes:  “Here’s another example that our guardian angels are ALWAYS listening:  Recently, my mom came home from the grocery store and realized that she didn’t have her purse.  (It’s a small clutch, not a big handbag.)  After some confusion and worry, she remembered what I’d told her about MBOs and asked God and the angels to help her find her purse.  She didn’t use the exact language of “I request a most benevolent outcome for…” but the message went out!  She returned to the grocery store parking lot two hours later (having first cancelled all her credit cards just in case), and while she and one of the managers were combing the area where she’d parked, the fellow bringing in the shopping carts came up to them.  He held up my mom’s little clutch purse and said:  “Are you looking for this?”  Not only had he found the clutch, he’d found it only a few minutes before encountering my mom.  It had been wedged in the flip-up seat of the grocery cart.  (Nicely hidden.  Thank you guardian angels!)

”And what a great case of synchronicity.  The purse had been sitting in the cart, out in the parking lot, for TWO HOURS, before my mom, the manager, and the cart collecting employee all merged.  Wow!

”I write fiction for a living, but if I wrote this incident in a story an editor would say it was contrived!”

Recently here in Dallas my son could not find his very expensive cell phone (to call it just a cell phone does not do it justice).  He looked all over his bedroom and office in our house and then looked in his car and so on.  Naturally he called his cell phone from all over the house but couldn’t find it.  I reminded him to request a Benevolent Outcome and he did.

My wife asked me to search his car once again, so I took my cell phone to ring his along with a flashlight.  When I rang it and heard no sound, I said out loud to myself, “It’s not here.” After it went to voice message, I dialed again and as it was ringing, my son came up behind me with his cell phone ringing.  It had been buried in a drawer in his desk and for some reason he didn’t hear it ringing before.  I got to go back to TV after 11 hours in the office.  A nice, quick MBO!

MBO FOR DISSOLVING A MARRIAGE

Daphnee in Vienna, Austria writes:  “I read your newsletter with interest and there was a request about marriage in the last one. I am trying also to formulate an MBO so that my marriage dissolves without having to go through drama and trauma.  Can you help me with a formulation that is more positive?”

For Daphnee and anyone else going through a divorce right now, I would suggest, “I request a Most Benevolent Outcome for dissolving my marriage in the most benevolent way possible, and ask that the emotional cords that are connected to my spouse be severed in a most benevolent manner, thank you!”

Then you can also say a Benevolent Prayer for you and your husband–“I ask that any and all beings assist and comfort both my husband and me so that this divorce be as amicable as possible and may the results be even better than we can hope for or expect, thank you!”

I Hope this eases the process for both of you and for any reader in the same situation.

TRIP TO THE UNITED KINGDOM

Previously I included in a couple of blogs about my trip to Cannes, France and the Frankfurt Book Fair in October, but was a trip to England I took last March.

I requested a large number of MBO’s during the trip.  I now always request MBO’s for the safe arrival of my luggage, for getting through the Security line with no problems, and for sitting next to an interesting person on the plane. I always travel business class if I have enough mileage to upgrade, and on the Continental Flight to London from Houston, I did just that, but the plane was not full and there was no one next to me.  That allowed me to “spread out” with things in the seat next to me, and there was no sound of someone eating while I went to sleep after taking a Melatonin (vitamin that helps you sleep if you are not familiar with the name).  Plus it was easy getting up to go to the restroom without having to climb over someone else in the middle of the night.

I requested a MBO to easily find Val Stoner at the London Heathrow Airport, and had stood there waiting at the coffee shop for less than 5 minutes when she arrived.  I stayed at a very nice Bed & Breakfast in their largest room Val had arranged.

The B&B was only a one-block walk to the railway station, where on Thursday I went to Windsor for lunch with one of my DVD company clients in the UK.  I had to change trains twice and requested MBO’s for getting to the right train. At each of the two stops there were kind people who directed me to the correct track.  I even sat near a gentleman from Philadelphia who’s a “head-hunter” living in Windsor and a lady going to a play that was headed for the West End in London.  They directed me in the right direction to Don Beni’s restaurant.  The waiters sing there.  Fun place if you are ever in Windsor visiting the castle.

On the way back I requested a MBO for the trip and was OK with the first change, but arriving in Twyford, I wound up following a sign saying Henley, but it was incorrect.  There was NO ONE on that platform to ask.  Then suddenly out of nowhere two ladies appeared, inspecting some construction work on the platform.  I asked and they said that the train was on a different platform and pointed to the train already sitting there.  I thanked them and ran up the stairs, over the bridge and down to the platform, thinking they might close the doors any second.  They didn’t until 3 minutes after I entered the train car.  Now THAT was a Benevolent Outcome!

We had a great time in the workshop and I had requested a MBO for that, and had everyone request it too. Then on Sunday Val and her husband Jim took me to the London City Airport for the flight to Nice, France.  I naturally requested a MBO for the drive, as we had to go through the middle of London. We arrived in plenty of time.  I really must publicly thank Val for all the work and friendship.  She’s a great lady and a catalyst for Benevolent change in the United Kingdom.  Mine was the first workshop she arranged in the UK, but she has several more in the works.  If there’s anyone else that would like to sponsor a workshop, let me know soon, as I must plan months in advance.

The London City Airport is such a small airport that they close the Security line down at times.  Naturally I requested a MBO for my luggage to arrive on time, and for my trip through the Security checks.  I also requested a MBO to sit next to someone interesting on the plane. The Air France commuter jet I flew on holds 81 people and it was stuffed with people attending the world TV market I was headed for.  There was a jolly English chap that sat on my row in the plane and we exchanged business cards.  He’s the managing director of an internet supply company and has already sent me an email upon my return suggesting we do some business.  The runway is so short that the pilot kept the brakes on while revving the two jet engines up to full power, then letting off the brakes and off we went like a catapult.

Upon arrival in Nice, it was in a downpour.  I had been given a free bus pass as part of my “platinum card” service (earned through many years of attendance at this market), so I requested a MBO to not have to wait too long after I picked up my luggage, and the wait was a short 10 minutes. Again there were lots of market people on the bus to talk to.   As it was raining, I hurriedly walked the two blocks to my hotel with an umbrella stuck in my jacket while I rolled two bags.  After checking in, I requested a MBO to pick up my badge with no problems and that went smoothly—with no lines. I had requested a MBO for someone interesting to sit next to for dinner, and it turned out to be my old friend Dominique, as a dinner with a French client had been cancelled when they decided not to attend at the last minute. It was nice to catch up, as I know that having these dinners will not happen as often in the future; Theo has told me that our paths will divide more in the future, especially when requesting Benevolent Outcomes becomes widely known in the next couple of years.

Each day at the market (as I do every day) I would say the EXPECT GREAT THINGS TODAY mantra (found on the website under the SIGNS tab for new readers of this blog).  And then I would request a MBO for all the meetings that day to be productive, and the results to be even better than I could hope for or expect.

I won’t bore you with the rest of the details of the business portion.  I requested MBO’s for not having to wait long for the bus back to the Nice Airport and it was again less than a 10 minute wait. I was hoping for an upgrade to business class for the flight to Paris, but it was all coach.  The MBO was that I had gotten in the Elite or Business Class line so my wait was much shorter than the coach line, and two of my clients from Japan were in line and they got me an invitation to the Elite lounge where I had a free sandwich and cola.

In Paris, my bag showed up in reasonable time and the wait for the shuttle bus to the hotel was not too long.  I flew back to Houston on Air France the next morning next to an attorney whose main client in Europe was Airbus, and he was pleasant.  On the plane I mentioned just a little about The Gentle Way.  As we approached the Passport Control there was a huge crowd there from two 747’s that had arrived before us.  As we went through the queue, I saw there were two lanes that were roped off.  I quickly requested a MBO for them to open, and they did open just three people in front of me. I told the attorney that this was an example of THE GENTLE WAY.

Welcome to this week’s Benevolent Outcomes Blog!  If you like these blogs, please let your friends know.  They can go to my website http://TheGentleWayBook.com and sign up for these weekly blogs.  You can also sign up for my weekly F.R.E.E. newsletter that has more advanced topics, or listen to the Podcast.  I also have sample chapters of my first book and articles I’ve written for magazines available to read.  Now for interesting stories sent to me from all over the planet from people requesting Benevolent Outcomes in their lives.

IS THERE AN EASIER WAY?

This person as requested that I not use their name, so Yevette writes:  “Thankfully, I first read your articles in the Sedona Journal of Emergence a few months ago. I immediately started to do MBO’s (Most Benevolent Outcomes), and can see that they are helping in many ways! Now I share your technique and website with nearly all of my clients (I’m a clairvoyant reader), and many of them report to having great results!

”What kind of MBO would you for when there are tremendous challenges and shifts on all levels, and it seems tricky and overwhelming to manage/juggle them all – yet in order to survive there’s no choice but to do all of them? I know it seems broad…but the challenges are really on every single level. Work, health, finance, home, relationships, family – all in such intense degrees, all needing so much attention, change, and evolution.

”The MBOs are so wonderful & exciting, and so easy for anyone to use. Again I thank you for the work that you are doing on this and other planes of existence!”

As Gaia, soul of the earth once told me, “I don’t wave a magic wand and ‘Poof’ things happen.” I think it’s the same way with requesting Benevolent Outcomes.

Remember that one of the rules for requesting MBO’s (Most Benevolent Outcomes) is IT HAS TO BE FOR SOMETHING SPECIFIC FOR YOU.  So after requesting thousands of MBO’s over the past 14 years, if there were any “short-cuts” or “waving magic wands,” I think I would have found it.  But when I go out driving, work on specific business sales, when I’ve had medical issues, and in my personal life I must request a MBO each time for each specific thing.

But I think that’s designed that way for a specific purpose I just finally learned recently.  When you start requesting MBO’s:

  1. Your awareness starts to lift;
  2. You start raising your vibrational level; and
  3. The veil starts to thin.

It may not be noticeable at first, but keep at it and you’ll see a difference.

People are always asking, “How can I raise my vibrational level?”  Requesting Benevolent Outcomes is the easiest and most fun and gratifying way I’ve found so far.  Everyone can do it with no special training, rituals, etc.  It’s for ALL OF US!

DRIVING BENEVOLENT OUTCOME

Kathy in Washington State writes:  “I was driving from Seattle to Vancouver, B.C., to take a workshop and to do a group 12 Strand DNA Activation. There were several places I was going to – motels, houses, and businesses. For my birthday I’d
received a Garmin GPS and was looking forward to the first real chance I’d have to use it.

”I’d carefully inserted all the addresses of these places in my Garmin and it had directed me without error to the Costco gas station in Bellingham. Next was my motel in a town near Vancouver. As I was driving along, it suddenly began flashing
“Low Battery”.  No problem, I thought. I’ll just plug it into the car charger. However, when I tried, the end that went into the Garmin kept falling out. I was beginning to panic. All my information for every one of my destinations was in my Garmin – I hadn’t written them down anywhere. I turned it off to save what little battery was left, thinking I’d just turn it back on when I got into Canada.

”Before I hit the border, I stopped at a rest stop. I sat in my car for a few minutes thinking about my quandary and then remembered to ask for an MBO. I requested that I find the solution to the low battery problem quickly and easily. I used the facilities and came back to my car, thinking to try one more time to insert the car charger. When I picked up my Garmin it happened to be upside down, and THERE WAS THE CONNECTION FOR THE CAR CHARGER!  I’d been trying to plug it into the wrong place! Thank you angels! I continued on and it worked perfectly the entire week I was traveling.”

ANOTHER WINNER!

Anne from Illinois writes: “I’ve been asking for months for MBO’s for financial winnings at bingo…. and finally revised the way I ask…. I asked for my winnings to be beyond my expectation.   Yes, I did win a game on the hotball number.  It was the 3rd hotball jar number and it had a value of 10 dollars. Imagine my surprise when I got 300 dollars.  It seems no matter what number was called you would automatically win the first jar… (value 300 dollars) in addition to the game (35 dollars…. that too surprised me because the games are usually 30 dollars)  So all the way around my winnings exceeded my expectations.

“My cousin was a recipient of your book when she graduated from Nurses school.  I’ve asked her to send you an email with her story (ies)..   Thanks Tom for all your kindness and assist with the best book I’ve ever read and applied!!”

JOB BENEVOLENT OUTCOME

Christine in Arizona writes:  “My cousin, Anne from Illinois, is a friend or acquaintance of yours I believe?  She sends me your newsletter, and also sent me your book on Angels.  I had spoken to her this morning, as I have been looking for a job as a nurse here in Arizona.  I was given a referral by a woman I have never met, and it seems to have worked out for the best.  The reason I am writing you is because I was reminded by my cousin to request an MBO on my ride there for a safe drive, and then again once I arrived for a positive outcome to the interview.

”My cousin also “felt” that I was there and told me she stopped to pray and request an MBO for me too.  It seems as though, after 2 months of looking for a job, I may have finally found one!  I wanted to thank you for writing your book, and giving me the chance to read your wonderful newsletters!

”I know you will be in Sedona in June, but I (hopefully) will be working, and so I will not be able to attend.  I will be sorry to miss your workshop, but am so happy you will be there to help others.”

And I’m glad Christine will be doing what she does to help others too!

CLASSES BENEVOLENT OUTCOME

Lyn in Chicago writes:  “I wrote to you back in December about doing some classes based on your book, and (no surprise here) the most benevolent outcome has occurred.  I was a little disappointed that I didn’t get approval to teach at the local community center…but knowing that the most benevolent outcome was around the corner… a lovely woman who just opened an art studio and asked me to do a Feng Shui blessing and then invited me to teach there!  We haven’t worked out details yet, but it will be in April.

”I have a strong wish and desire to take one of your workshops, so, of course, that is my current request that resources become available to do just that!  So many wonderful, happy outcomes have been occurring daily…I love the Gentle Way!  Many thanks and I love the idea of participating in the awakening that comes with learning it and sharing with others.  MBOS galore!”

Notice everyone how trusting in MBO’s works?  Lyn KNEW that someplace better was going to be made available.  You just have to TRUST that the results will be THE MOST BENEVOLENT FOR YOU!

DAILY MBO USE

Diana writes:  “I have used the MBO requests every day for the past 2 months.  And on the time that I forgot to use it is the day it’s not flowing smoothly in my life spiritually.

”1. I have used it to find missing items, get taxis, compression of time to get to appointments on time and finish scheduled tasks.
2. I have used it to ask for help with our new internet server.  We noticed that the day we switched to a new server that orders have dropped in our online business.  My partner was a bit worried and stressed out about it, and immediately I requested an MBO for business to pick up with our new server, and that they would fix whatever problem there was (if any).  The result was almost immediate.  It was a relief to know that MBO requests can help with technical (technology) issue.

”I have recommended your book and website to anyone who would listen, and most importantly, telling them about this awesome prayer.  I hope I can help more people by spreading the news.  Thank you for the blessing.”

In my film distribution office we’ve had to request MBO’s several times in the past few months for technical problems with our computers.   We’ve been able to overcome them each time, naturally requesting MBO’s.

ABUSIVE MARRIAGE

Although she did not ask me to, I am changing her name to Connie writes:  “I am having a hard time trying to figure out how to phrase a MBO.  I am married with two young children.  My husband is very aloof, unromantic, critical, and many times even verbally abusive person to me and my son.  I feel that I would divorce him, except I know the children would be devastated by such an act.  I am confused about what would be best for them under the circumstances. I have been working on my side of the issues for ten years and I am tired and depressed and even hopeless at times.   Can you please suggest some MBOs for me?”

For Connie and anyone else in this same situation, Here’s an excerpt from my Living Prayers chapter of my book:

We all see and read stories about physical and sexual abuse in our communities.  But there are those reading this book that are actually experiencing abuse on a daily basis.  If you live in a household where there is physical or sexual abuse, you definitely should say, “I ask for my safety and for the safety of my children be guaranteed now and in the future in a way that is benevolent for us all.”  If the reason for the abuse is because of an addiction to alcohol or drugs you can say, “I request that any and all beings come to the aid of (name) and assist (him or her) in the most benevolent way possible for our family.”  Remember, you can ask for what seems impossible!

And I should have added “verbal abuse” to that.

I suggest anyone in this situation see a marriage counselor on your own–and when you are choosing one say, “I request a Most Benevolent Outcome for choosing the right marriage counselor for me, thank you!” Then when you go to see this counselor say, “I request a Most Benevolent Outcome for this session, and may the results be even better than I can hope for or expect, thank you!”

AUSTRALIAN BENEVOLENT OUTCOMES

Erika from Australia writes:  “I have been reading your articles and some first chapters of your book, The Gentle Way. I found your website and my hubee Michael and I have enjoyed what you have put on it very much and signed up for your newsletter.  You may have addressed this question as I haven’t read everything yet, I have ordered the book from a website in the U.K., as there is no charge for shipping.

”When requesting MBO’s as a couple in a situation together how do you go about this, have you got any thoughts about this? I know you say them for yourself and I understand they work this way but when you are in a restaurant and you say it together for your meal etc how is it best to do this in your experience. ????

”I have been doing them since I read the article last Friday you wrote in an Australian magazine. I read the article on the train going to the city and after I read it I didn’t want to read anything else in the magazine.  And I started saying them for my evening of doing Angel readings at a city function, I whispered them behind my hand as I sat next to the window. I actually enjoyed the readings more than normal and we all had a good time. When I had to work out the money with the hostess I said an MBO for the amount, as I wasn’t too sure what to charge as things had gone over time. So I said a figure to her and then went to the toilet saying another MBO for the pay and she gave me even way more than I asked for which I had thought was high enough. I went home and said to my hubee, guess what I got paid for the evening for 3 hrs work, and he was amazed. It was a good feeling and a good first MBO.

”My next one was for A Sunday event I was hosting at my home and I said a general MBO for it, well Saturday night the guy running the event rings and can’t make it and suggests we cancel and I ended up agreeing even though It didn’t feel too good doing it and disappointing the people who were attending. I sent a message to 2 friends and told one about an event on the next day a Universal Insights Expo, which I had seen a flyer for a few times that week and someone I knew who was starting a healing centre was going to have a stand there. So I said another MBO for going to this myself and the best time the next day and wow what a time I had I ran into 2 of my friends who had been coming to my event and all of us instead were at this expo!! I had a great time talking and seeing all the stands and there on my friend’s stand who had the healing centre sat the woman who was so disappointed about my event cancellation so it had worked out well for her and all. My hubee and I had a good outing and enjoyed ourselves.

”So I learned that what I thought by saying the Most Benevolent Outcome can mean anything can happen even that appears bad, but there is a higher plan up there. It took a while for me to let go and forgive myself and Adam for canceling the event even though there was a most benevolent outcome. I have said a whole lot more MBO’s, too many to write here and have had various outcomes. I am enjoying saying them, even though I do have a lot of other things I do and say that I have learnt as tools over the years.

”By the way are you on Facebook as I don’t go to Myspace?  By the way I don’t usually write this much only a paragraph at a time. I have a pretty good angel who is my spiritual master, and I talked to your Theo while reading your newsletter and he said yes he knew of him they had met and I was well taken care of with my spiritual teacher, guide, master, dream teacher, Guardian Angel all rolled into one. It was interesting to hear him answer he knew my guide who is the spiritual leader of Eckankar Sri Harold Klemp.

”IF you want to use what I have written feel free.  Thank you and I hope you have time to reply and had time to read all this!”

For Erika and anyone else out there who have not read all the book, I have a chapter on Benevolent Living Prayers as I call them now.  These benevolent requests are for when you ask for someone else or include someone else in the request.  A whole different set of angels responds to these.  You say, “I ask any and all beings for….” instead of “I request…” I am on both FACEBOOK and MYSPACE.  Let’s be friends.

I wish you all a MOST BENEVOLENT WEEK!

    THE GENTLE WAY BOOKS

    THE GENTLE WAY BOOKS

Welcome to this edition of my weekly blogs about using a simple, yet very powerful spiritual tool, which you’ll be able to use the rest of your life.  I discovered about 14 years ago that I could request Most Benevolent Outcomes (MBO’s) for SPECIFIC things in my life, and my Guardian Angel would respond with assistance from the very mundane requests such as a parking spot to important things in my personal and business life where I run an international film and TV program distribution business.  IT WORKS! But experiment and prove it for yourself.  You say, “I request a Most Benevolent Outcome for____, thank you!” Below are more stories sent to me from around the world from people incorporating this simple spiritual tool in their daily lives.  Enjoy!

STRESS IN A SURGICAL CLINIC

Helena has previously written me when she was out of work asking for MBO’s.  Now she has found work as a receptionist in a surgical clinic, but she’s stressed as the doctors and nurses are “bitchy” and are not nice to her or the other receptionists.  I’m condensing her email as it was long and detailed.

Helena asked:  “I was wondering Tom if you could help me with the right wording for doing MBO’S for — 1. Getting on and fitting in with the Doctors and the Receptionists. 2.  Protecting me from the Doctors and Receptionists.  3.  Being able to do and understand everything that I am expected to do.”

“I am worried about being able to stick the job out and I want to enjoy it, but I never realized how hard working and stressful it is.  And I know soon two of the receptionists will be leaving because they have had enough of the way they are being treated. Although we all work so hard there is hardly any fun and laughter in the place. The Doctor’s Surgery is very clean and so nice.  I am a healer Tom and although I have told some of the receptionists, they think I am odd for being into healing.  I am not ashamed of this and they do make me laugh with their responses, I just want to be able to fit in with everyone and be able to do everything that is expected of me as a receptionist. So far I am a nervous wreck because I am under so much pressure, and I don’t feel that some of the receptionists and Doctors are that nice or helpful towards me and I am to frightened to speak out in case I may lose my job.  Many Thanks Tom for your kind help and patience.”

These suggestions are not only for Helena, but anyone else that might find themselves in a similar situation.

Perhaps you were put there to be the candle in the dark room of stress as the medical personnel try their best under extremely trying circumstances themselves.

So what can you do to “lighten” up the place?” I’m going to give you some suggestions, but I don’t know if you can implement all of them.  Do the ones you can.

1.  Each day when you go to work say, “I request a Most Benevolent Outcome for my work day, may my work be productive and without error, and may the results of this work day be even better than I can hope for or expect, thank you!” Print this out in big letters and say it before you go out the door each day.  This sets it up for your GA to do some amazing things with your day.

2.  Are you allowed to place a sign on the wall in front of your work station?  If so, why not put up the EXPECT GREAT THINGS sign that you can print out on my website (http://www.thegentlewaybook.com/signs.htm).  Naturally you can say this each time you come to work, but it will also be there available for others to read–and you want them to.

3.  Each day you can say a Benevolent Prayer for everyone you work with–say, “I ask that any and all beings send loving and calming energy to all the doctors and other medical personnel in this facility and surround them with loving pink light all day, thank you!”

4.  Is there a place where you could put up funny cartoons about doctors and nurses–that would make them laugh?  Laughter is GREAT for the soul! You could find them online by doing a Google search.  Then you can cut them out and put them on bulletin boards or above you desk or in the lunch room.  If anyone sees you doing it, just say you think the place needs a little laughter and humor.  Perhaps others will start to do the same thing.

Remember, healer–you can be the healer of healers!  Be that beautiful light!

JOB MBO IN AUSTRALIA

Lynn writes: “Hi Tom, thank you for all your assistance.  I have nearly read all of book one and it didn’t take me long. The newsletters are good for getting more ideas on using them. I was thinking of copying any good ones and adding them into the back of the book.

“I said one yesterday for an area I feel blocked in and last night I had a dream where I felt this got unblocked as I experienced a situation and felt things being released in the dream. So now I realize, if I request one it can work on any level in the physical or dream worlds.

“Today I rang the people who supply and deliver our fruit and veggie box to us each fortnight and just remembered as I was being put through to quickly say an MBO.  I told the customer service person that our fruit from them has been bad, and I wasn’t satisfied; and she gave me 50 percent off our next box!  I also found out how to know what’s in our box in advance–a real help for us.

“On a weekend outing to do a small job at a shopping centre I asked for an MBO and afterwards I saw how many good outcomes there were; if I said them all here it would take up a page. The job I did went really well with the person and we had a very good exchange that is unusual for people doing her job. A man came up to us in our car as we were leaving asking for some money to buy petrol, so Michael gave him a few dollars and then I saw him at a Ute with the hood up and a petrol can in his hand, so he was genuine.  So they work for helping others also, and I had asked for an MBO for a good car parking space. So I will stop there as it goes on to quite a few other things that occurred.

“I have sent out your last newsletter to my email list I have, called Divine Angel Treasures and put a link with your book on Facebook.  Nice chatting with you like this Tom and thank you for all your sharing you are a generous benevolent soul.”

The second book was just finished by my publisher.  For those of you who are Amazon Associates, you can link my first book from your website and make some extra money.  And link the book website on Facebook and MySpace if you wish.

MUSIC MBO’S IN HAWAII

(Edited for space)  Blake in Hawaii writes:  “I answered an ad for a guy looking for a warehouse space to store/ play his drums. I needed a drummer, and I currently rent a warehouse with a studio apartment attached here in Honolulu. (another perfect MBO outcome)….The drummer (Kimo) and I met and he moved in.  He brought in an electronic drum set made by Roland….. a real basic kit–a toy really.  We started to jam just for fun…. He spoke about how awesome my music was…. and that after the first of the year he would have more time, and he volunteered to help me record a demo.

“We played (he came over 4 times), Christmas came and he said he would be unavailable till the first of the year. When I hadn’t heard from him I called on the 6th… no return call… nothing.

“I am jonesing to play at this point and re-requested the MBO for a perfect team to back me up with my music.  Later that day an acquaintance introduced me to a music enthusiast he knew with a my space page with over 28,000 friends. She called me and we talked …. at which time I told her about the drummer issue….. “Would I like to audition my grandson?” he’s looking for a band. duh -(he is twenty and has played for 14 years…)  I of course said yes called him and he asked if he could bring around his buddy to play bass.  Instant connection… just add music… we have only had 4 rehearsals (using the electronic drums left behind by the first guy- as the grandson had only a really cheap acoustic drum set he is thrilled to get to play the electronic set which he appears to be a wizard of some sort when he sits down with the kind of enthusiasm I have to play – he loves the music! And he is twenty, what an affirmation of potential for my material….

“During our first rehearsal he (apparently clairvoyant) said out of the blue ” I don’t think the drummer is coming back for his set… he just gave it to you…. new pa speakers and a stereo too….in that moment I felt Kimo make the decision to leave me the equipment and never come back -he has key’s….He mentioned his ears hurt from playing… I am hoping that something like that is what moved him to stop playing…

“Anyway we’ll be recording in the next weeks, I’ll send you some tracks…. still have not heard from Kimo, but without his drum set my current band would not have what it would take to do this. How weird a benevolent outcome is that? All kinds of things seem to go like that for me when I hold the faith that IT IS WORKING OUT.

“Here is one last thing for your readers to consider: I have basically made all my bills but have not been able to replace an Amplifier that has blown up. (I play through two amps, and have been making just one work for rehearsals)  I have spent many hours looking on line for something I want to buy but have received the thought repeatedly what I wanted to buy and has been designed specifically to fill my needs – but not in the market yet but available soon.

“I found the unit yesterday. At a music store that doesn’t sell the unit! I explained to the store manager the solutions I needed…. and he seemed very agitated…. after about two minutes of hymning and hawing around he announced he was going to show me his personal unit even though they didn’t sell them – available only online – no dealer in the US.  Anyway the unit is being released next week after the NAMM show with what spirit says are the various updates and refinements made since the prototype was released (the manager owns an early unit.) Now I know why I didn’t have money to buy something – that I would not have liked! So many MBO’s they just start to seem normal! Thank you Tom!”

VACATION COTTAGE RENTAL

Charlene writes:  “To add to your huge list of successful MBO’s (Most Benevolent Outcomes):  I left it a bit late in making reservations for Memorial Weekend.  We are combining a graduation ceremony with a couple days at the beach.  And in Northern California that can get to be rather insane finding a little hide-away if not booked very early.

“So my request was to find a wonderful little cottage that didn’t break my bank account and was within 1 hour of the beach and 1 hour of where we are to attend the graduation.

“Within two hours of looking online I found the absolutely perfect place nestled in its own little redwood grove 20 minutes from the beach and about the same from where the graduation is going to be.  I continue to stand in utter awe and gratitude!”

TERMITES MBO

Vicki in Texas writes:  “I did want to let you know about another mbo related to termites.  We had a termite swarm appear in our jacuzzi tub.  The pest guy with 20 years of experience chasing bugs came to check them out.  He was very knowledgeable and had all these ideas about where the bugs would be coming from.

“Both my husband and myself said mbo’s for the termite problem.  When the bug guy returned to treat the termites he could find no trace of a current termite problem.  He seems like the kind of technician who always finds the bugs so when he could not find any bugs he was totally baffled.  I know it was due to the Mbo’s.  I am hopeful that my husband’s cancer will go the way of the termites.  Thanks again for your newsletters, advice and most of all introducing us to Mbo’s.”

ADDICTIONS

Jill writes:  “My sister sent me the link for your site.  I say my requests for MBO’s daily and realize they have given me great strength.

“I seem to have a lot going on around me and unable to ‘see the forest for the trees’ – crisis in my marriage (sexual addiction), my own alcohol and food addiction, unclear direction and unemployment, no income, an international move in 3 months with no direction as to where we go…

“I say the same MBO’s daily. Should I change them each day?  I am not sure what to ask for with so much going on. At best I ask for strength and feel I am receiving that.  Keep up the good work and thank you very much!”

May I suggest for Jill and anyone else with any of these challenges you say, “I request a Most Benevolent Outcome for being led to the best treatments for my addictions FOR ME, thank you!” You can change the requests up each day, including requesting a Most Benevolent Outcome for remaining disease free until you are able to have sex only with someone you care about on a steady basis. You can even request a MBO that you do not meet someone who will have sex with you.

And as you may have read in my weekly newsletters and this blog, you can request a MBO for the PERFECT job for you and the PERFECT place to live.

ANOTHER MBO IN LONDON

I almost did not include this one, as Helena had written me before, but this is a really good demonstration of how requesting MBO’s can lower stress and fear, once you get used to using this simple spiritual tool.

Helena in London writes:  “I left my flat to go to work but decided to go back to get my diary that I needed; in my rush and absent minded after locking up my flat I came out the communal door and put my ruck sack on top of the dustbin shelter.  Unbeknown to me I put my flat keys down whilsted I opened my bag to put the diary in. Off I dashed to work (bearing in mind I had done my MBO’S that morning) (One of my MBO’S was asking that my home remains safe from intrusion etc.. the MBO that you recommend in your book).

“All my day went by, I worked late on Friday evening, so when I locked the surgery up I could not find my house keys. I searched everywhere; one of the receptionists was kind enough to help me search, but we could not find them anywhere. This made me panic; I couldn’t concentrate and started to fear the worse, so Heather, the other receptionist, offered to come home with me.

“I started to feel quite negative thinking “gawd my flats been broken into,” or “the neighbors have got my keys and have gone up into my flat.” Under the circumstances I would have just burst into tears, but for some reason I didn’t. On the way home I started pleading to the Angels for help and I started requesting for MBO’S for help. I didn’t care what my friend thought, but she was giggling and teasing me for the things I was requesting for (and she was looking at me in a strange way, but I did not care)!  She probably thought I had lost my marbles.

“I couldn’t believe it, as I got nearer to my flat–there sitting on top of the dustbin shelter were my keys!  I just could not believe they were still there as a whole day had passed, and it’s certainly a busy street where anyone could have taken them. My God, TOM my requesting of MBO’S had definitely worked for me. I thanked everyone and every thing for my keys and my flat being safe!  WOW TOM, aren’t I sure one LUCKY person? THANK YOU!  THANK YOU! THANKYOU!”

Helena had her Guardian Angel acting as a Security Guard for her all day!

So check out my website at http://TheGentleWayBook.com, where you can sign up for my weekly newsletters, if you wish.  The newsletters get into more advanced metaphysical type explorations.   I’ve also started Podcasting those for people who don’t have time to read.  There are also articles I’ve written for magazines, videos, and more!

Have a Most Benevolent Week everyone!

    The Gentle Way Books

    The Gentle Way Books

The following stories are excerpted from my second book, THE GENTLE WAY II: The Story Continues, which was just recently delivered back to my publisher by the bindery.  My publisher, Light Technology, is having a 40% off sale up through this coming week on both my books, so please call Monday through Friday 9-5 Mountain time.  The number is 800-450-0985 or 1-928-526-1345 outside the United States.

The month of December is generally viewed as a great month of parties, dinners with friends and reunions with family. But it can be a highly stressful time when you are in charge of the dinner, or if you have to travel, or if you and your family are worlds apart in terms of lifestyle or belief.

I’m going to give you some tips and suggestions to make this time period much less stressful and a lot more pleasurable by requesting benevolent outcomes.

You can request a benevolent outcome that your visit with your family or friends is cordial and pleasant. This may seem like you are asking a lot in some instances, but ask for the impossible!

Under this category comes family members or people you know will be at the party whom you have a difficult time with because they are alcoholics or you have had a difficult relationship with them in the past. I suggest saying something like, “I ask that any and all beings come to the assistance of (name) so that they remain sober and pleasant during the time I’m there, and that they receive assistance in overcoming their problem.” This is a “living prayer” that you can say for other people. Change the wording to fit your circumstances.

If you are worried about your safety or your children’s while in the presence of someone you know to be physically, mentally or sexually abusive, then say, “I ask that my safety and that the safety of my children be guaranteed now and in the future in a way that is benevolent to us all.” This also can be said if you are currently in a relationship in which you are fearful for the same reasons.

I have mentioned the radiant effect before, but remember, when you request benevolent outcomes for yourself, it also affects others—in this case those who are at the dinner, party, or reunion with you. It makes for a much more pleasant time for everyone.

CHRISTMAS TREE BENEVOLENT OUTCOMES

Amy in Scotia, New York writes:  “I had great fun with a benevolent outcome on the weekend before Christmas.  Because of bad weather in the east, my husband and I finally went out to find a Christmas tree on Saturday.  I asked for a MBO, including finding the perfect tree quickly and at an even better price than I could imagine.  We started out to a local grocery chain where they were selling trees, hoping to find a sale.  On the way there, we ran across a long line of cars waiting for a light at a busy intersection.

”Sensing a message here, I turned the car around and headed back the way we came, going up a country road where we had bought a tree from a farm stand in previous years.  That place was closed, but up the road I saw a sign for Christmas trees.  Walking in knee deep snow, we found the trees and went to the door to get the proprietor, but no one was home.  I shook the snow off one perfect tree and saw a price tag – $15!

”I took the money out of my wallet, but wondered how I was going to leave it at the house with no one home.  In my purse was an old paycheck envelope that I normally would have thrown away.  Perfect.  I wrote Merry Christmas on the envelope, put in the money and left it inside the front door.  When was the last time you found the perfect Christmas tree for $15?  I put it up yesterday and it’s the most beautiful Christmas tree we’ve ever had.  Happy Holidays to all.”

ENGLAND CHRISTMAS TREE MBO

Val from England writes:  “Living in an apartment with very little storage we have to be very selective at what we buy.  I wanted to decorate the front pillar of our entrance with a Christmas tree. I only wanted to pay £5 because I knew I would have to throw it away after. We looked in several garden centers, but all were over £25. Back in our home town the market was on and lo and behold they had some lovely Christmas trees and guess what–the one I wanted, which was nearly 6ft tall, was just one penny under five pounds! The vender told me they were £40 in the shops and I quite believed him. How blessed I was.

”Do you know what, since you introduced me to MBO’s I do it automatically and just amazing things come about.”

SON’S CHRISTMAS HOMECOMING MBO

Marie writes:  “Dear Tom, I have to thank you, the Angels, and God, for my MBO’s, when I felt all was lost for my Marine son’s visit for Christmas.

”Now I want to say of my MBO, This morning my son was supposed to take a flight from Washington. His flight was cancelled. Hearing there were some people waiting 3 days for a plane had me wondering if we will spend the time with him and thoughts of if he doesn’t come home, he has a good chance of being shipped out!

”My son’s Dad and I started doing searches of the Greyhound bus service, since there was a flight to a hilly area 7 hours away. We found out the road was closed due to snow conditions, so the Greyhound bus was out. My ex was about to leave to drive there and that plane also was cancelled since the airport was snowed in. There was no way for my son to get here till the 26th of Dec., “after Christmas”. This was my chance to have my plans of cooking for my family, when each year I wasn’t sure how much time I’d have with them.

”I decided to seriously ask for an MBO, and as I waited for word I made a wreath, the best I have ever made. Then comes the call, my son is boarding a plane and home in 2 hours. I cried and thanked the angels and that’s also why I am here (many, many thanks Tom).”

NEW YORK BENEVOLENT OUTCOMES

Lyn writes:  “What a joy and a blessing you are.  It’s New Year’s Morning and I had to write to express my appreciation…and excitement with this wonderful new and gentle approach to life!  I always believed that angels were out there…but did I ever think that I could have a relationship with them?  Not until a friend gave me the 2 chapters from your website and I started inviting them into my life, did this incredible and easy miraculous living start to unfold.

“My daughter and I were taking a girls’ weekend down to New York City and I read the chapters out loud to her on our drive there.  It would take too much space to tell you all the marvelous things that joyously fell into our laps (will mention that we got “bumped” up to the most expensive seats for the Radio City Music Hall Christmas Spectacular!!!)

”From that weekend (only 3 weeks ago), I realized that life has a splendid, happy, and simple addition…our guardian angels are there for us!!  So many amazing things have happened, but let me tell you the biggest wow! One of my wonderful jobs is that of “Pet Nanny”.  I live in people’s homes and care for their beloved pets while they are away.  It was the Saturday after Christmas and I was living in a home with a Great Dane and a greyhound, the last day before their family returned; I was also stopping in twice a day to care for two different family’s cats.  I was at the second home, feeding cats, when I had that dreaded feeling of the stomach flu bug hitting me like a bolt out of the blue!  I was feeling sicker and sicker, and just barely made it back to the dog’s house, crawled up to the bathroom…spare you the details here…and then wondered how the heck I was going to make it through the day with all the animals looking to me for their needs.

“I was going through my list of “who to call…even someone who could at least take the dogs for their afternoon walks, when of course, I realized I needed to request for the MBO!  I had just gotten your book a few days earlier, when I also remembered about the condensed time concept.  That’s what requested!  Tom!  It was profound!  As I was lying on the bed and dozing off, I felt I was being rocked back & forth, then slowly awoke to feel the nausea go up and out of me.  I sat up and felt fine!  I thought a few minutes had gone by..it was two hours later.  But I was able to walk the dogs, finish cleaning the family’s house, visit the cats again, pack up and head for home.  I felt like you feel the day after you’ve had the flu…so, it seems I had the 24-hour bug in 2 hours!

”I have been telling absolutely everyone about The Gentle Way.  At the hair salon yesterday…created quite an audience!!  I would love to do a little class.  I often teach feng shui at a local recreation center and I think offering a small class there based on your book would be such a neat way to share with lots of people.  What are your thoughts on having someone like me facilitate a class?   Thank you so much for “hooking me up” with my guardian angels!  Life will never be the same!”

For Lyn and anyone else out there that would like to facilitate a class on The Gentle Way, let me know and I can point you in the direction of some of the usual questions people ask about the book, plus I can hook you up with my publisher so that everyone in the class can have a book as part of the class.

Lyn recently update me about the results of the class.  Lyn writes:  “Requesting MBOs helped so much with moving last week.  Things went really well, even having the intermittent rain showers cease when we were loading and unloading.  Too many to mention!!

”I invited anyone from our recent Guardian Angel class to come to share their experiences.  Many wanted to, but it was such a busy weekend with graduations, etc.  However, two ladies came…the two who were the most skeptical!

”They went on and on about how many lovely things happened that week.  The one who was most critical of the idea, spoke of a lunch she had with a friend who is very negative and unhappy and she always dreaded meeting her.  She requested an MBO for it to be pleasant and joyful for both of them, and she said it was the best time they’d ever had…and her friend bought her lunch!”

HOLIDAY SHOPPING MBO

Jean writes:   “I had a grocery store MBO, Christmas Eve afternoon.  I knew the stores would be crowded with last minute shoppers, but really needed a few items, especially since that is my usual shopping day.   Knowing that the lines could be long, I still requested an MBO for a short line.  With only 8 items in my cart, I was still about 15 people back from the express check out.  While chatting with the woman ahead of me, I noticed a woman waving near the head of the line, and decided to see why.  Come to find out, she was trying to signal to her son that they’d opened a second express line, but she couldn’t catch his eye.

“So I told her that I hoped she didn’t mind, but I was going to go through.  One woman was having her groceries bagged, the next man in line had three items, and I was next!  Instead of a 20 minute or more wait, I was out of the store within five minutes, laughing all the way, as I still had another errand to run and now knew I’d get there before their earlier closing time!  Of course I didn’t have far to walk to my car!”

BONUS MBO STORY

Debbie writes:  “I have to tell you my MBO tale of yesterday. Well, I gave my mom a nightgown….too big, so went back to store myself for exchange. As I pulled up to parking I asked for MBOs for the whole experience of returning it.   I found a perfect parking spot even in the season rush.  Also I had a most favorable outcome in the lingerie dept(2 fold request!). Anyway, a good spot on end so I didn’t get my car pinged.  And in the store…. I found a better nightgown in the proper size.

“To top that, in line a woman ahead of me turns and asks if I could use a coupon for a purchase…it was for 10 bucks off. As I walked to leave I saw a robe that had “Maxine” written all over it(not literally!)…. Used another lesser amount coupon for the robe purchase and then I had an extra I offered to the guy behind me. Upon delivery, all fit perfectly and she excitedly modeled them for me.  Mission accomplished!”

As I have mentioned many times, requesting Benevolent Outcomes makes even the normal mundane tasks easier and less stressful. That last story was just sent to me a couple of days ago, so if you’ve started requesting MBO’s and have an inspiring story to tell, email me at the below email address.  You can also explore my website at www.TheGentleWayBook.com, where you can read articles I’ve written for magazines, my weekly newsletter, listen to a Podcast, print out signs to help you to remember to request MBO’s and much more!

Have a Most Benevolent Week, and a Most Benevolent 2010!

    The Gentle Way Books

For those of you that are new readers of this Blog, about 13 years or so ago I started requesting Benevolent Outcomes for first the small mundane things like a parking space in front of a busy restaurant or busy shopping center, and then expanded it as I experienced successes to include all my business life as an international film and TV distributor and my personal life.  Requesting Most Benevolent Outcomes (MBO’s as I call them) has been spreading around the world, and I receive success stories from Europe, Australia, and Asia, to name a few.  Now here are some great emails I’ve received in the past month!

CANCER UPDATE

Diane writes:  “I wrote to you in the fall about MBO’s regarding breast cancer. I had had a follow-up mammogram at a specialized Breast Care Center and further results from an MRI, which indicated that a biopsy was needed. I kept requesting an MBO and with one thing and another, I couldn’t get an appointment to see the MD until March. I wanted to discuss the MRI results before deciding upon the biopsy.

”When I arrived, the nurse asked me to change into a gown. I said I wasn’t there for a procedure, but to talk to the MD. She went to check, and when she returned she offered me three options: 1) it was time for a 6 month follow-up mammogram. I could do that and then see the MD; 2) I could return in 3 months and take a second MRI; 3) I could talk to the MD. I chose option one. The breast care specialist shared with me the radiologist’s report that I had no changes from the last mammogram. I had no cancer. She sent a report to my internist saying that they used a computer to verify the mammogram results and that I had no cancer. It was not necessary to have a biopsy. So, I was very, very grateful. Thank you very much for the MBO you gave to me.”

QUESTION FROM HONG KONG

Diana in Hong Kong writes in two emails: “Just want to update you that the time you wrote me the email, I immediately get that “whisper in my ear.”   It is beyond words how that whisper comes to my ear.

“My sister wants to ask, whether it is possible to do too many MBO requests? (I don’t think so).  I think you and your GA also said it in the book, yes?  Thank you for the blessing of your teaching.

“I hope you could one day find time to make a second book to The Gentle Way.

Because I am sure many MBOs situations didn’t make it to book 1, even though it makes it to your newsletter and Sedona Journal column.  Even though I enjoyed reading your newsletter and column, I like the idea of having a dictionary of “situations” to refer to.

“I just came back from a trip to Shenzhen with our 2 young kids, and the MBOs helped a lot during our vacation.  On our way back, I didn’t forget to request MBOs for passing the China customs quickly, safely and the car passed very quickly without a hitch.  We got a friendly officer, which liked children. And we seem to get taxis everywhere safely and get the best-looking taxis (where in China the taxis tend to be pretty old).”

You can’t request too many MBO’s.  That’s just a “3rd dimensional” idea.  These Guardian Angels are so powerful that as I’ve said before my GA could handle 10 million requests for a parking space at the same time and never break a sweat (again using 3d terminology).  Remember that they are taking care of each of us in all of our lives on earth ALL AT THE SAME TIME (600 to 800 on average) and in ALL 12 TIME LINES for each life, and for all the soul groups (6 to 12 on average per soul) for 6,000 to 19,000 souls on average.  Do the math and that comes out to one billion or so decisions and counseling each minute!  It’s just beyond our third dimensional understanding.

I asked my Guardian Angel Theo in meditation– Are my figures correct about the 1 billion or more decisions you must make for all the soul fragments in all their lives being lived at the same time?

Yes, Tom.  More or less.  Perhaps I don’t normally think of it in those 3d terms, but on your level of understanding, yes, I have millions of decisions and acts of assistance I provide the soul fragments in any given minute of all their lives being lived at the same time.  You just had no concept until recently exactly what I meant by multi-tasking, as it was beyond your concept at that time.  You will have even more of an understanding in the future to look forward to.   So yes, those figures could be accurate, although naturally there are fluctuations.

REQUESTING MBO’S IN AUSTRALIA

Judy in Sydney writes: After reading an article by you in an Australian magazine, I rushed to order The Gentle Way. I eagerly awaited its arrival in the post (I live in Sydney, Australia). I have now just finished it and want to tell you how much it has benefited my life. Although I have always worked with angels, the MBO method is much more concise and effective.  I have been doing MBO’s for two weeks now – it has worked particularly well with little things e.g. conversations, events, driving, etc. I am waiting for the most important thing in my life right now, which is to get the best job for me that will cover my expenses. My current job has been cut back to two days per week and I am not able to pay my mortgage and expenses. My MBO is “I request a most benevolent outcome for the perfect job for me that will use my talents and abilities and provide more than enough income to cover my expenses”. Do you have any better suggestions?

”Also, can you tell me how often I can say the same MBO? I’ve been saying it several times a day -whenever start worrying about my situation. I figured it was better to say an MBO than worry.  However, I wanted to ask you if it is a good idea to say the same MBO several times a day.”

For Judy and all of my new subscribers, you can say, “I request a Most Benevolent Outcome for the PERFECT job for me, thank you!” You only have to say that once, as it frees your Guardian Angel to start working to make that happen.  It might be weeks or months, and you might land an interim job, as someone else might have that job and will have to leave first (benevolently).  You need to change up the MBO’s each day.  Request one when you look online for jobs, or request one for finding something in the paper, or request one each time you go for an interview, and request one each time you go out to network with friends.

And don’t forget to go to my website http://TheGentleWayBook.com and click on SIGNS and print out the EXPECT GREAT THINGS TODAY mantra.  Theo says you will see some amazing things begin to happen when you say that each day.

DOG NANNY MBO’S

Lyn writes: “I loved hearing about your trip to the UK!  It’s one of my most favorite places.  So many great MBOs here…couldn’t wait to tell you that our first class based on your book is Saturday, May 2nd.  Everything just dropped into place!

“I also have such fun news about my living situation-all the outcome of requesting MBOs.  I’ve been a professional dog nanny and house sitter for the past 2 years, and sharing the rent at my daughter’s apartment, though spending very little time there.

“She is off to do some traveling and I thought…..hmmmm, wouldn’t it be nice to not have rent and utilities.  So, of course, out went the request for an MBO, and I came up with a lovely apartment (for free) in exchange for some dog sitting (which I love).

“Then I was thinking about the country on weekends, and the brother of a friend (who happens to have a stone house on 80 acres) wants someone to live in the house once in a while, so it looks cared for (he only uses it 3-4 times a year, otherwise it’s empty).  Oh, yeah…for free!!  Cool, huh?  So, I now have free housing for my times in between dog nanny jobs.  No rent, no utilities!!

“I think maybe the most fun about requesting MBOs is not worrying about how something is going to come about…it just does.  Thanks to our guardian angels!  Thank you again, Tom, for writing the book!  Expecting great things.”

MEXICO VACATION

Lynn from Oregon writes: “My husband and I are going to Mexico in May to celebrate our 30th….  We don’t do much traveling so this is big for us….   We are going to Riviera Maya outside of Cancun.  Asked for MBO when planning this trip and sure got incredible prices and trust it will be the perfect place for us to be staying!

“We will be going on a day trip to Chichen Itza, a place we both wanted to experience.  So I am wondering if any of your guides know anything about this and if there is a chance of having a spiritual experience there?  Thank you Tom…..  We will of course ask for MBO’s the whole trip!”

Theo, why do people feel strange, when climbing the Chichen Itza pyramid in Mexico?

Yes, as you may have guessed, the stones have many energies imprinted on them from the past—both good and bad Tom.  The pyramid itself has energies from its geographic location and its situation in connection to the astrological alignments.  So between them all you have a lot of energy that sensitive people can feel quite easily and others to a certain extent.

And do request a MBO for an experience there at the pyramid.

UPDATE ON VIENNA DIVORCE

Last month Daphnee in Vienna, Austria was asking how to request an MBO for amicably dissolving a marriage.  Daphnee writes: “Thank you so much for your MBO.  It worked  marvelously, at least the first step. In mid-February as he moved out, he informed me that he would not get a divorce. After I said the MBO and talked to God, this Saturday he asked me for a divorce.

“I will continue saying the MBO so that there is no quarrel between us and that it goes through smoothly in divine timing and divine ways. I will keep you informed.  Bless you.”

MBO REMINDERS

Charlene writes: “When I write out my MBO’s I put them on flashcards and post where I can see and read easily all day long.  The first time I write it out I do say it out loud, but then simply read the words after that.  I don’t change the words, I simply wait.  Once the MBO has become a reality I take the card down.

“You say the request only has to be made once AND changed out every day.  Sorry but that confuses me.  Am I going about this all wrong?  I’ve been granted everything I’ve asked for very quickly using the flashcards.  Longest wait was three months so I find it hard to believe I’m doing this “wrong”.  HELP!!!

“The other “strange” thing thats going on is even though I’ve told my partner and my sister about MBOs and they say they’ve “tried” with no results, when I create an MBO for them for their requests things start happening for them very quickly.  Why is that?”

I think it’s fine to post the cards, as it is a mental reminder that you requested the MBO.  I think it helps create the event–junior creator in training.  You’re EXPECTING it to happen!

I find that when people say they have requested MBO’s and “they don’t work” is either because they requested something so far off it doesn’t seem to have been successful, or they really are rejecting it but want to tell you they tried.  They might be lazy–after all, this takes a little concentration to make it a habit–or they can’t believe, because of previous religious training, that people can actually make these requests and they’re answered.  Many people have been taught that they’re “not worthy,” and only some religious leader can make requests for them.

When you request a MBO in front of them and it happens, then it will remind them that this actually works–especially if it is something simple like a parking spot or any of the mundane things we do everyday.  Remember, as I wrote about in the book, there is a RADIANT EFFECT so when you request a MBO for yourself, it can include them too.  If it’s just for them, you’re supposed to say, “I ask…..” in the form of a Benevolent Prayer, as a whole different set of angels handle those requests INSTANTLY.

Have a Most Benevolent Week and Merry Christmas for all of you who celebrate!

The Gentle Way Books

Welcome to this edition of my Blog for those who are just learning about requesting Most Benevolent Outcomes (MBO’s) in their lives to lower stress and the “fear factor” and lead a more gentle life.  You can learn much more about requesting MBO’s on my website www.TheGentleWayBook.com. There you can read a couple of sample chapters of my first book, articles I’ve written for magaines, and much more!  My new book, The Gentle Way II:  The Story Continues is now available for order directly from my publisher at 40% off the list price, along with my first book, until January.  Telephone 800-450-0985 to order.

One more note:  You will see some questions below I ask my own Guardian Angel Theo in meditation.  Anyone that already meditates can do the same thing.  It’s just another way to benefit from meditation, which is recommended by doctors and health care specialists.

IMPORTANT NEWS ABOUT MBO’S

A number of people have written to me in the past couple of months asking about requesting the same Benevolent Outcome multiple times.  My standard answer has been, as I was told, that you only have to request it one time.  But still the emails kept coming, so I knew it was time to get the answer directly from my own Guardian Angel Theo.

Theo, here’s a question I’ve been asked several times recently.  Should people only request a Benevolent Outcome once, or can they request the same numerous times?

A good question Tom for today.  Yes, if they feel a need to, they can request a Benevolent Outcome more than once, although it is not needed.  One request works just as well as numerous requests.  We, meaning what you call Guardian Angels, understand that since you are veiled, you question everything—even the validity of requesting MBO’s–even when you have been having great success in requesting them.  The veil is very thick but it is thinning, and as you have told your readers Tom, requesting MBO’s thins the veil and raisers their vibrational level.  So if they feel more comfortable in requesting a Benevolent Outcome more than once, then it is OK, and it will not dilute the request.

So request the same MBO as many times as you wish if it makes you feel more comfortable.  Your Guardian Angel will not penalize you if you do.

CONCERN ABOUT “ANY & ALL BEINGS”

Starr writes:  “I enjoy your newsletter but I have an issue with your Benevolent Prayer. It says “I ask that any and all beings…” Doesn’t that leave things open to non-benevolent beings to step in?  Shouldn’t it be changed to something like “all beings from the light…”?

”This may be my issue, but would you go out to the street and ask any and all people you meet into your home, or mind?  I am surprised that someone hasn’t put this out there before. Blessings.”

I do thank Starr for bringing this up.  I find that when I receive a question like this then there are many other people that have this same question, but haven’t asked.  I’m quite sure this question will be in one of the first two chapters of my upcoming book.

Theo, Starr has a problem with “any and all beings” as she is concerned that this will attract non-benevolent beings.  Your comments.

Yes, it might seem that way on the surface to Starr, Tom, but when angelic beings, as you call them, are called upon to provide assistance, they certainly would not “dial up” shall we say, a non-benevolent being to assist the person that said the Benevolent Prayer, or for whom they said the prayer for.

These are, as we have discussed before, whole souls Tom, and even though they have not achieved a golden light-being level, they still are whole souls and capable of millions of decisions per minute in your time.  Please trust these souls to handle any request in a most benevolent way, as they have only the best intentions for the person or beings in the request.  It is all accomplished from within the light, so there is no danger of attracting non-benevolent beings.

AUSTRALIA LIFESAVER MBO

Judy in Sydney Australia writes:  Hi Tom.  I just have to tell you about my recent Angel miracle. On Tuesday night, I was going to a night class in another part of Sydney. I said my MBO’s for safe travel before I left. When I got there, I parked my car and walked across the street with the green light. Suddenly, an elderly lady in a 4WD flew around the corner at full speed and narrowly missed me – I mean by an eyelash! She said she was looking at the lights and not at pedestrians on the crosswalk. I screamed and fell back onto the road, but just scraped my hand and had a few bruises.

“Several people ran to give me their cards as witnesses but I really was alright, just shaken up. Another 1/4 of a second and I would have been badly hit.

”After my class, I stopped off at the supermarket and playing over the loudspeaker was the song, “Send me an Angel”. How’s that for confirmation!  I can’t thank you enough for your instructions with MBO’s – it saved my life!”

ST. THOMAS LIFESAVER MBO

Tresta writes:  “I would like to thank you for writing the book “The Gentle Way”.  I have been constantly disciplining myself to request my MBO’s (Most Benevolent Outcomes).   I recently had an incident with my car.  On this particular morning I dropped my children off to school.  After that I went to the gas station and headed home.   Mind you.  I live on an Island (St. Thomas, Virgin Island).  If you ever been here, you would know that it is very mountainous.

“Back to the story.  I was driving up the side of the “hill” and I veered to the right.  I noticed I was veering a little too far to the right.  I steered right back to my lane and stopped the car.  I got out, looked under the car and I didn’t see anything loose.  I quickly got on the phone to my husband and informed him on what was going on.  I told him “stay on the phone with me, I’m going to put the car in second gear, turn the hazard lights on and drive “slowly home”.  Before I took off, I immediately said my MBO.   “I request a Most Benevolent Outcome for this car to arrive safely at home”.  What do you know I made it! Safely!   My husband called the mechanic, he came out, looked at the car and called me over.

”We both looked under the car.  To my surprise he showed me the steering rod, completely off the wheel!  He asked how did I make it home.  I immediately said, “My Guardian Angels.”   Once again, Thank you, thank you Tom.”

CHILD CUSTODY MBO

Angela writes: Please explain the Benevolent Living Prayer?  I wondered about prayer for a Benevolent outcome for someone else. (Buying the book may have shed some light on this subject.  It’s on my list of things to do.)

”I need a Benevolent prayer for my son and granddaughter.  My son is going through the courts requesting full custody of his daughter.  It has been very emotional for us and I am having a hard time stopping the tears.  (My granddaughter’s mother…they did not marry…..just moved her 5 states away.)  Please assist in a loving way to phrase the prayer?”

Yes, there’s a whole chapter in the book about Benevolent Living Prayers.  It’s what you say for other people, where MBO requests or strictly for specific things for you.  A whole different set of what we call angels takes care of those requests.

Perhaps you could say, “I ask that any and all beings assist my granddaughter in having the most benevolent living arrangement and custody for her, thank you!”

Remember that all these requests have to be benevolent for everyone in the request, and saying that Benevolent Prayer puts it squarely on what’s best for the child–whether that’s full custody, partial custody, or whatever.  Remember that there are soul contracts at work here, so you can only request what’s best for the child and her soul contract.

When the court case comes up you can say, ” I ask that any and all beings assist the judge in making the best decision for the custody of my granddaughter, thank you!”

REIKI BANNED BY CATHOLIC CHURCH

Shannon writes:  “Thank you so much for your newsletters.  I use MBO’s through out the day, and it has made my life much easier.  I am a Reiki Master and am teaching Reiki and trying to spread the word about this wonderful healing energy.  It has made quite an impact on my life, and others that I have seen.  I was just sent an article from the Reiki magazine with the following:

“Recently a committee of Catholic bishops wrote a statement saying that Reiki is based on superstition and Catholic’s shouldn’t use it. More specifically, they said it shouldn’t be used in Catholic hospitals, health care centers, or by Catholic chaplains.

“Is Reiki a healing energy that helping our advancement or just another “thing” that we have made up?  Being from a Catholic background, I do not have any trust in Catholic Church, but it saddens me that they are doing this.”

Theo, is Reiki a valid healing modality?  Why would the Catholic Church try to ban it?

Yes, of course it is a valid form of healing Tom.  The Catholic Church wants to ban it for several reasons.  First out of ignorance.  They don’t understand how it works.  Second, because they don’t understand it they are fearful that it could be some form of Satanism, which you and others know it is not.  So as it always happens, ignorance breeds fear and their actions spring from that fear.  It will take some time for them to accept Reiki as a form of healing, and yes, they like to think they’re the only form of healing – only through the Priests, but there are many forms of healing and more will be discovered in the coming years.  There will be less need for their services shall we say by their congregations.

MBO’S FOR ACTING CAREER

This actress asked me to not use her real name so Joy writes:  I have been requesting an MBO around my acting career – have used the phrasing that you suggested.  Then I asked for a “sign” that I was focusing on the right direction.  Just got a letter from Screen Actors Guild that they would like me to be on the nominating committee for 3 areas for Emmy nominations – a total of 9 nominations!!  It is a “random” draw.  However, I got the letter the day after I asked for the sign!  Pretty amazing!  And one of the areas?  Best actress in a sitcom!!!!!!  Which is exactly what I would like to do!!!!!

“Oh, and one more thing!!  An actor that I met in the fall agreed yesterday to forward my headshot and resume to one of his agents to see if I could free-lance with this agent for commercial work!!  I request a Most Benevolent Outcome about this agent and may it be better and greater than I hope for!!  YAY!

“I request a Most Benevolent Outcome about being on the SAG TV nominating committee and may it be better and greater than I hope for!”

KITCHEN MBO’S

Annette writesI’ve been reading your book and first of all I want to thank you for writing it and secondly, for writing it in a way that is simple to use and understand. I’ve had some interesting results; the best was finding an item that a friend of my husband (who is stay with us temporarily) broke. The pan has not been made in over 20 years and it was something I uses for specific cooking. When I went to the manufactures website to see if I could order a replacement, it was over $60.00. I requested a MBO to find a reasonable replacement and I found a like new one on EBay and bid $20.00 – I won it at $14.50 and with shipping it came to $28.97.

“Then I found the other item, a Tupperware colander, (that he accidentally melted) on EBay. It is made with only the holes in the bottom and fits my containers perfectly – it hasn’t been made in close to 30 years. I was able to get it with shipping for $18.50. I didn’t even ask for that MBO – but since I was trying to replace items I often used as a set my Guardian Angel put me in touch with how to replace them BOTH! They are like they have never been used!!  And…the person who damaged them gave me the money PLUS extra towards utilities, etc.!

“Since I am new to the requesting of MBO’s I was wondering “how” to go about asking for something to continue to function and not break down, at least until I am financially in a place to repair or replace said item.  Example: our hot water heater was installed 9 years ago. The warranty expired 3 years ago and yesterday we noticed the spicket was dripping. Would I request the MBO for our hot water heater to continue to work until we were more financially stable, or would I request that all our appliances and equipment continue to function while we are going through this, or does it matter how I word the MBO? I want to make certain that my intent is presented properly.

“I have read through 1/3 of the book and have to take a break periodically to digest the information and understand it. It is all new to me – talking to my Angel for these things, but makes more sense each day. I have looked through the book and not seen a request example that seems to relate to the request for something to work instead of finding a repair, but I may have overlooked it.”

You’re right.  That’s one of the things that’s not in the first book but will be touched upon in the second book, as I recall from other stories I’ve received.

You do have a couple of MBO’s you can request, so you can do both—“I request a Most Benevolent Outcome that the water heater continues to work properly until I can afford to replace it, thank you,” or ask for a MBO for a replacement that you can afford — and see what your GA comes up with.  You can add the tag line “and may it be even better than I can hope for or expect, thank you!”

What about checking Craig’s list in your area?  Sometimes people (as we did when we bought this house) want a specific type of water heater and replace one that still has a lot of life left in it–a good interim solution.    Sometimes a plumber, who might need some side work, would either offer one, or would keep an eye out for one for you for the cost of say $100 plus labor.  The plumbing companies would not want to do this, as there’s probably not enough profit in there for them.

And one more thing, I would suggest keeping your friend out of the kitchen—he sounds like a walking accident—probably because he is concerned about his situation.

SANTA BARBARA FIRES

Steve writes:  “Thank you for your recent reply to my question on the Santa Barbara wildfires. This is an update and follow up to my previous question.

”After I wrote to you, the situation looked very, very serious for Santa Barbara and also for Montecito to the south and Goleta to the north as the fires continued to spread. The next evening the firefighters were bracing for the worst as the Sundowner winds were predicted to be gusting again. These winds come up in the evening and blow down the foothills fanning the flames out of control and towards the residential areas. I followed an impulse to request an MBO that the Sundowner winds be calmed. The previous day, when “all hell broke loose,” the temperature in Santa Barbara was a record 101 degrees in the city and much higher in the foothills.

“The next day a marine layer brought cool, damp air in from the ocean. The temperature dropped 30 degrees and the Sundowner winds never materialized as predicted by the National Weather Service. Every day I kept requesting that the Sundowner winds be calmed. The marine layer remained for three days with no Sundowners. For the next 3 days the National Weather Service predicted a return of the Sundowners, but they never materialized, allowing the firefighters to achieve 80 percent containment and begin scaling down the operation.

“As I write now, 14 days after the fire first broke out, there is 100 percent containment of the fire and firefighters are mopping up as the fire burns itself out. The city has returned to normal. What a miraculous turnaround to a potentially disastrous situation. I am wondering whether my MBOs and my Guardian Angel could have produced such a profound effect. Naturally I would like to think that is possible, but find it difficult to believe.

”Would you ask Theo or Gaia if my MBOs and my Guardian Angel played a major role in this miraculous turnaround or was it just one of many other factors or was it just coincidence?”

Theo, did Steve’s request for a Most Benevolent Outcome regarding the Santa Barbara fires have any effect, or was it just one of many factors or a coincidence?

Yes Tom, his request of the Benevolent Outcomes did have some effect, along with the prayers of countless people in that area.  Prayers are answered as you teach.  They don’t have to be said a particular way, although what you have shown people how to say them works perhaps the best, because it is so easy to remember, as compared to trying to make up a completely new prayer each time for something specific for you, or especially one for other people and beings such as animals.  So to answer Steve’s question, yes, his voice was heard along with others and Gaia changed the weather for them, as you are junior creators in training and you must be able to see your successes, yes?

Yes, of course I agree.  We would give up if we saw nothing happening.  That’s what’s great about requesting MBO’s in your life.  For the mundane requests like a parking spot you receive immediate feedback that this simple spiritual tool works, and it builds trust in requesting MBO’s for the more important things in your life.

Have a Most Benevolent Week everyone!

Have you experimented with requesting Benevolent Outcomes in your life yet?  This is the most powerful tool I’ve ever found to make your life less stressful, less fearful, and more enjoyable!  You still will have those challenges in life your soul wishes to experience—they’ll just be more benevolent—not so harsh.  Check out my website www.TheGentleWayBook.com where you can read a couple of sample chapters of my book, aritcles I’ve written for magazines, and much more!  Here are some more stories from people that are requesting Most Benevolent Outcomes (MBO’s) in their daily lives.

LIFE IS BETTER

Kathy writes:  I Would just like to say how much my life has changed for the better since I became aware of requesting MBO’s. I request them always for friends, family, and even for myself (healers are always the last to think of themselves!). At any rate, I just know that it works! Not everything happens as we would expect, but it is always the most benevolent outcome. Always!

Thank you, thank you, thank you!

MBO PROOF

Helena in the UK writes: When I first started doing my MBO’S.  I was trying too hard, but I got fed up with wanting results.  One day I was walking through our local park, I was muttering away to myself, I said I request a MBO for a ‘Robin’ to show me it’s big fat breast as proof to me that my MBO’S are working for me. (And I thought, ha ha, this will not work for me, as I was trying too hard and being quite negative)  Well nothing happened!

On my way back through the park I requested the MBO again for the Robin to appear, I carried on walking, and you will never guess what happened? Out of the bushes shot this Robin, it puffed itself up like a fluffy ball; it tipped its head to the right as if it was looking at me. (I just stood still as I had full shopping bags in each hand ) When this Robin appeared I just got the shock of my life, as it shot out the bushes just like that, I just stood there laughing my head of and I just could not stop laughing.  There were people playing football all around.  It just happened so quickly and it shot back in the bushes, I waited to see if it would come back out but it didn’t. This Robin only appeared for about 30/40seconds,but it did seem longer.  It was just so funny Tom. I remember every detail like it happened yesterday.

Well Tom I most certainly got my proof that my MBO’S are working for me.  And I most certainly said, “Thank You, Thank you, Thank you!”

A GUARDIAN ANGEL TAKES THE WHEEL

Daphnee writes: I happen to read the part of your newsletter regarding the Guardian Angels embodying into 3D to save someone’s life.  Back a few years ago while living in Cyprus, I was driving my car very fast on the Highway on the fast lane (right side, as they have the same rules as in the UK) and overtook 2 cars in the middle, or left lane (the slower one), there was another 3rd car ahead on the left lane and I was about to overtake this car and was slightly ahead of it already, when  SUDDENLY, invisible hands grabbed the wheel and I found myself slowing down and going to the left side behind the car I actually had already overtaken.

In the SAME MOMENT, a car came driving opposite directly, towards me on the lane I was before. I don’t know how you call this in English but in German we call that ” ghost riders”. I don’t know what had happened, but I knew it was not me.  I as Daphnee would never have slowed down and moved over to the slow lane, especially as I had already passed the other car. I thought, “Oh was that my guardian angel????”

This is the event in my life where I started to believe in Angels and dared talking to mine. Years I was not sure did I have one only or many. My feeling is that its a plural form of angel but I am not sure. Maybe you can shed some light on that?

Theo tells me there is only one Golden Light Being that we call our Guardian Angel which oversees us every minute of the day and night.  We do have one or two main guides and several that come and go depending upon what we’re doing at that time in life.

DENTAL WORK MBO

Pam writes on Facebook: “Hi Tom, I just wanted to share a Great MBO I had today and thank you for telling me all about MBO’s. I’m having some dental work done soon and the cost was a lot, I did a MBO to help me with the money and for it to be a lot lower than the quote, then the dentist office called and gave me a $1000.00 discount for paying up front in full. Now how great is that!! Thank you so much.

TILES MBO

AnneMarie writes on Facebook:  Tom, have to tell you about my friend’s MBO.  She is re-doing her bathroom and wanted Real Marble tiles.  Well they normally go anywhere form $10 -15.00 for a 12×12 square.

So on Sunday, after doing an MBO in church, she drove to Lowe’s.  As she was walking to the tile aisle, on the end of the aisle were boxes of tiles with a sign, “Marble” … Read More– tile $1.42 each tile.  She was speechless–must be a mistake–then the salesman showed up and told her they were overstocked in those tiles…not selling and his boss said mark ‘em down.  At that price she told him she could do both bathrooms and had measurements requiring 20 boxes. He told her that if she bought them right then he would Discount the price down to $1.00 per square….. NOW THAT IS A MBO ….most benevolent outcomes for the best possible deal….. YEAH!

That was a good MBO!  I’m sure her Guardian Angel was “pleased as punch.”

WEIGHT PROBLEM

Frances writes: I have struggled with being overweight all of my life and I ask for MBO’s to help me with this.  Yet I feel that nothing much has happened or nothing much that I can perceive.  Could you help with a suggested MBO for healthy weight loss and good eating habits?  Thanks.  I love The Gentle Way Newsletter and I am grateful for your response.

For Frances and anyone with this challenge I’ll give you some MBO’s to request and then some practical suggestions.

I request a Most Benevolent Outcome for attaining the best weight for my health and happiness, thank you!

I request a Most Benevolent Outcome for choosing the healthiest foods both at home and in restaurants, thank you!

I request a Most Benevolent Outcome for being led to healthy, enjoyable exercises for me, thank you!

Now, having had a weight problem in the past, and still have to continually watch myself (thanks to my wife), we both found that Weight Watchers worked the best of any program we ever tried.  I lost 25 pounds.

The best thing that came out of the program was Portion Control. Most restaurants serve twice what you should consume.  We therefore either split the entree’ or divide it into two halves and take the other half and have it the next day or two days.  During our Sedona trip for a week in June we did just that almost every dinner (and lunches too) and did not have our first desert until Tuesday evening (we arrived Friday morning) when we split a mousse.

The Weight Watcher “Smart Ones” and Lean Cuisine both list the Weight Watcher points, although we don’t count anymore.  It’s best to not eat out of the container, but spread it out on a plate.  They normally take up the whole plate, so visually you feel like you’re eating a full meal.

And for exercise, start walking, if you are not already.  Either early in the morning or evening get out and walk for at least 20 minutes.  It really does boost your metabolism.

I hope I’ve been of some assistance!

6,000 MILES OF MBO’S

Karen writes:  In February, I had been on disability for awhile, and the need to see my only grandchild, a grandson, became almost unbearable. His home is about 2300 miles away.  I have a old dog, who is a wonderful traveling companion and she was welcome at my daughter’s home so I loaded up my Saturn Vue and off we went.  When we got headed to connect with highway 40 I made my request of a MBO for our trip.

I am in my 68th year and love to travel, especially drive, so the trip was exciting for me.  I was confronted with ice and snow, faired that well, got snow stranded in Kingman, Arizona and I took a u turn and went through Havasu City, spied the London Bridge and saw some of the most breathtaking sites along the Colorado River!

I had been having a fuel tank thing with my car and I gassed up at intervals of 150-200 miles to be sure I wouldn’t run out of gas in support of the MBOs for my car running well.  As we went along the trip, I was led to gas stations I never would have guessed of their existence.  It took me a whole day to drive across Texas, from El Paso to Shreveport and MBO’s kept me alert and enjoying the drive.   I saw areas I never dreamed I would and enjoyed ever inch of them.

While visiting my grandson, my Vue failed and I traded it in on a new car after requesting a MBO.  I had possession of the new car with all the papers signed and such and drove to Virginia and back for a one day excursion.  The deal on the new car fell through the next day so I was back with the Vue.  I got repair help to get it well enough to drive back home thanks to my MBO and my Son in law.

I am grateful for the lesson of using MBOs.  I took this nearly 6000 mile round trip and saw new states to add to my goal of the lower 48, at least, and didn’t suffer.  My Vue was having ailments and couldn’t face going to Virginia, so because of my MBO I was given a new car to drive there!  And my Vue made the trip back to my home just fine!

BENEVOLENT OUTCOMES BLOG #4

IN THIS BLOG:

TRIP TO THE FRANKFURT BOOK FAIR

The Gentle Way Books

The Gentle Way Books

Welcome to this edition of my Benevolent Outcomes Blog.  This Blog is to help introduce people to the concept of requesting Benevolent Outcomes in your life on a daily basis.  By doing so, you’ll be reconnecting with your Guardian Angel, who will assist you with the most mundane requests, like a parking space at a busy mall during the Christmas Holiday season (which might not seem so mundane if you have driven up and down rows of parked cars trying to find a place to park).  Or it can be a much more serious request such as, “I request a Most Benevolent Outcome for my reunion with my family, thank you!” This is really good to request if there is much conflict in your family.  I use the abbreviation “MBO” for Most Benevolent Outcomes.  You can go to my website www.TheGentleWayBook.com, where you can read two sample chapters of my first book, articles I’ve written for magazines, and much more!

In my last Blog I mentioned that on my 45 minute walk down the Croisette (in Cannes, France) to the New Port, I would say “Bonjour” to a homeless man living next to the sea wall I walked on and he responded. One night I over-ordered at a restaurant and so I had them put it in tin foil (they don’t have to-go boxes, at least not at that restaurant).  This morning I took the sack with me and requested a MBO for not only my walk, but that he would accept the food, as I could not tell how cognizant he was.

He was feeding the pigeons and sea birds as he seems to do each morning.  Are they a bunch of beggars!  They never left the sea wall or surrounding rocks, but kept eyeing him for the next handout.  Luckily I had scooped up all the bread in the basked at the restaurant so he’ll have more to feed them.

I gave him the food, and I was to find out in speaking with him that he was from Berlin and spoke pretty good English.  He had met Laura Bush one time he said before George became President.   He liked her—said she had a good heart, but the Russian president (or? I wasn’t sure) had a hard heart from what I could tell.  He also gave me advice about staying warm in Germany.  Mentioned how St. Moritz was great to ski, and how he had been in Northern Italy, but I couldn’t tell how long he was there.  Said he gets his food from cleaning up after the markets held in Cannes.  Not sure if he is on a clean up crew or just scavenges, but I did see tins of cookies that I had seen in the Palais building (where the TV market and Cannes Film Festival are held).  All in all a conversation that I never imagined having.  It was a nice Benevolent Outcome.

When I booked my hotel to attend the Frankfurt Book Fair, I found the only two star hotel available in the main part of Frankfurt was called the Angel Hotel.  I did chuckle when I booked the hotel and requested a MBO.  It was in a great location only one block from the main train station and a two minute walk to the escalator down under the street and another one minute to the subway or train to the Frankfurt Book Fair.  There are two other hotels on the street and they share the street with a whole line of sex shows, peep shows, etc.  These are rip-off joints according to the hotel owner Mehra that are out to rob the “rubes” who walk in for 1,000 or more Euros (heard as high as 5,000 E).  Will those men and women have some “balancing” (as my Guardian Angel Theo calls it) to do in a future existence!

I had requested a MBO for the room to be ready upon arrival and it was within 10 minutes even though it was still morning.  Another lady that arrived shortly after me was still waiting for her room to be cleaned when I walked out the door headed to the Frankfurt Book Fair.  I had printed a number of press releases about the books in Cannes.  I planned to drop them off at the press office, but wasn’t sure they would let me in as my ticket was not good until the next day.  Naturally I requested a MBO to be allowed entry, and at first the lady refused me entrance and then let me go in.  At the press office the young lady said the charge would be 156 Euros (about $230!) to drop them off.  I pleaded with them to let a poor author put them out and she said come back the next morning at 9:00 am and she would ask her supervisor.  I was having a hard time finding some place to eat, as the restaurants I passed in the Fair were not yet open.  I requested a MBO to find some place open for lunch.  I came upon the Switzerland Café and there were a number of people eating inside.  I got in line and got my food, and then looked around for a place to pay and saw none.   I sat down and started to eat, still searching.  Finally I asked an Italian lady at the next table where to pay, and she said that was a free lunch for participants in an all day seminar.  I wondered why there were so many men dressed in business attire and not casual clothes for setting up the booths (or stands as they are called in Europe)!  A really nice MBO!

I had walked to the book fair, but there was some construction to pass through and cobblestone walks, so since I was dragging a roller bag filled with books, plus my briefcase, I took the “S Bahn” train to the fair grounds.  At 5 minutes to 9:00 am they started letting the large crowd of people inside.  They later reported that the first day attendance was 39,000 + people!  This is the largest market I’ve ever attended, with 15 halls each holding enough stands for a normal convention, with over 7,300 companies exhibiting!  This is 10 times as many as exhibit at the world TV market in Cannes.  At the press office they said not only could I not pay the 156 Euros, but I could not even put press releases out as I’m an author and not an exhibitor.  Keep in mind I requested a MBO, so I accepted what happened wondering where my MBO was.  I almost trashed them, but took them with me.  The MBO was that my publisher had not put in a sell sheet with the books, so I was able to use the press release as a sales sheet!  I wouldn’t have had anything to give to the people that just wanted a card and some literature to refer to about the book.

Naturally I requested MBO’s each morning that the results of my meetings would be even better than I could hope for or expect.  I also requested MBO’s each morning as each afternoon to be led to call on the right companies, as there was no way I was going to make it through all the halls I had listed to visit.

I have already come to a verbal agreement with a publisher in Greece that also publishes the Kryon books—nice synergy.  Plus I have many more that I hope will close in the coming weeks.  I met with my German publisher on Friday, and they said they thought the book will be released in May or June.  And I had chance meetings or was compelled to stop at certain places that should prove fruitful.

As one example, on Friday I was in Hall 8.0 where all the Americans and British have stands, and I stopped to have an orange juice to rest my weary legs.  I sat down at one of those high tables with bar chairs and a young lady sat down there too as it was quite crowded.  We started discussing my book and it seems she works for the largest publisher in Croatia.  She took a book with her and I’ll follow up.

Today I was concerned about getting my three roller bags to the train track and requested a MBO for someone to assist me.  Before I could ask, Mehra volunteered a young man by the name of Handi to assist me with the bags.   He took two of the bags all the way to the spot on track 7 where my car was supposed to stop.

When I arrived at the Munich train station, as I mentioned above, I had only 14 minutes to get from track 1 to track 22, which sounded like a long way.  It took me a couple of minutes to attach two of the bags together and I requested a MBO for assistance in finding the track AND assistance with my bags, as the signs said nothing about a track 22.  I asked a lady passing by and she pointed me towards the “S Bahn” sign, which I was quite familiar with from Frankfurt.  As I started down the escalator with my 3 bags, I noticed a couple with medium size roller bags headed in the same direction and asked if they were going to the airport and they said yes.  I followed them, and the German couple was quite nice and told me which train to take, as there were two that stopped before the airport train.  He even helped me on board with my bags (a nice MBO).  They were headed to Kenya for two weeks for some sort of government work that they had a hard time explaining in English.

During the 40-minute ride I tried to phone the hotel to see about the shuttle van, but the phone would ring and no one picked up.  I requested a MBO for finding the shuttle.  At the airport station the German couple again assisted me in getting the bags out (nice MBO).  I proceeded to the Information counter, where they called the hotel, and told me to sit down, as it could be 10 minutes before pickup.  Less than 2 minutes later a German lady from the hotel called to me and off I went to the shuttle van, which was filled with people whom she had picked up from the train.  I was the last on board and sat up front.  This gave me the opportunity to go in and check in to the hotel instead of standing in line (another MBO).  They gave me my own portable alarm set to 4:30 am, and I requested a MBO to awaken just prior, which I did.

I requested a MBO to sit next to someone interesting to talk to on the flight from Amsterdam back to Dallas-Ft. Worth, and my MBO was that the Dutch man who sat next to me never spoke to me for 10 hours—only in Dutch to a friend across the aisle.  This saved my throat, as I had picked up a chest cold.  I requested a MBO for customs and went through the passport check OK, but the customs guys wanted to check my bags because I listed books on the form.  The MBO was that I got to hear an angel story from one of the customs officers and gave out two business cards for them to go online and read about the book at www.TheGentleWayBook.com.

This is really simple to do, folks, so give it a try.  Start by requesting a Most Benevolent Outcome for your drive to work, or for a seat on a busy train or subway.  Easy steps that will give you immediate feedback that your requests are being answered.

Have a Most Benevolent Week!
