MBO FOR DRIVING IN FOG
Diana writes: I drive a little VW Bug and happened to be out after dark. My heater blower has not worked for weeks. It was very foggy out and my windshield started fogging up and I could not see. I did a MBO for the window to clear so I could see. The blower started working and cleared the windshield. I got home safely with clear sight. I have been saying “Thank You” all night and today. Amazing.
MBOs FOR POST OFFICE & FINDING COFFEE
Tahoe Vinnie writes: Hope you and the family had a wonderful holidays. Your advice to request MBOs to make life easier is, as they say, spot on! I use them every day, and even then they surprise me, and sometimes exceed expectations. Two examples last month were, going to the post office to mail presents out to family. I said an MBO that they would be very little people and that mailing the articles would be quick and easy. Got to the post office, and there was only one customer at the counter, and he left. Went up to the counter found out that I had the wrong envelopes; the girl recommended another type that would be cheaper, but I had to redo the addresses. I went over to a table and filled out the mailing info. No one came in for 5 minutes. Went back to the counter and mailed them all out. As I was leaving, a crowd came in. Now that’s an MBO! Awesome.
The second one, I like a certain type of coffee, and many of the stores I go to have stopped caring it. I had asked an MBO to find some. A voice in the back of head said to try a place I had not been to in a while. Found the coffee at a very good price too. For those of you not using MBOs, there is an old saying, “You snooze, you lose.”
MBOs TO FIND LOST GOPRO CAMERA

My daughter and her family were holidaying at a lake caravan park about a couple of hours from their home in NSW and both the kids had received GoPro cameras for Christmas. My granddaughter was playing with hers down by the lake, and sometime later could not remember what she had done with it. My daughter messaged me, and asked me to say an MBO to find it, which I did. Amazing how I have family and close friends, who use and trust MBOs now.
My daughter messaged me about three hours later, to say that someone within the park had found it down by the lake and contacted her through the park web page. So all good in the end.
Amazing how fast the results came after asking for help from the Spirit realm. Of course we thanked them for their help 🙂
MBOs FOR LATE FEE, FRAUD, PRESCHOOL
Mandy writes: I recently asked for an MBO for a movie rental I didn’t realize I had out for 3 months! I said an MBO for reduced late fees or better. I went to return it, and they said it wasn’t showing in the system that it was ever rented out to me! Of course I didn’t question it; I just chuckled and said a little thank you in my head.
Several months ago I saw a charge on my credit card for a subscription for Microsoft Word that I knew I hadn’t purchased for $200. I spoke to the Discover fraud department about a charge, and we determined the email they used was not mine. They said they’d look into and get back to me in 8-10 weeks. When I got off the phone I wasn’t exactly hopeful, but I decided to just ask for an MBO for the charges to be refunded or better. Two months later my husband called me from work to ask how much the charge was for, and I told him $200. He told me they refunded my card nearly $4500 in charges, fees etc. We checked all the statements and that was the only charge that wasn’t ours. It didn’t make sense but we knew not to question it, just to be grateful and say thank you. My husband is now convinced and has started asking for them as well.
We were late registering my daughter for preschool, and were concerned we wouldn’t get her in due to the wait-list. My husband and I both requested an MBO and two days later we received a call that they would be able to fit her in!
This summer we ran out of water at our new dream house (which we got using an MBO last year), and we didn’t know if it was because the well was dry or the water pump went. We didn’t have the money to replace the well, since we just bought the house and had to replace several other items. I requested an MBO that it was just a dry spell, and the well was empty. That night it rained and poured, and the next morning we had water again!
Thank you for sharing about MBOs; they have certainly made our lives more “gentle”.

MBOs TO PICK UP DAUGHTER & FAMILY
Here is a story from me. My daughter, son-in-law, and granddaughter went to Jackson Hole, Wyoming to visit his side of the family. They were to return back to the DFW Airport on Thursday, at 5:40 pm. This is “drive-time” in the Metroplex, so I requested an MBO for my drive to the airport. Gaia had other plans. She had a huge storm pass through the Dallas-Ft. Worth area the day before (we received 3.4 inches of rain at my house), and there were people who spent the night in their planes on the tarmac, unable to get to their gates. There were many cancellations and delays that extended all day Thursday. They initially could not find a crew to fly from DFW to Jackson Hole and return, delaying their flight back over three hours. Finally they took off and were scheduled to arrive at 9:12 pm. Requesting another MBO, certainly there was no worry with traffic at that hour, so I took my time to the airport, arriving at about 20 minutes after they landed.
When I arrived at the airport parking area across from the baggage claim, there was only one space left (just for me!), because a large pickup truck’s front wheels were slightly over the white line. Didn’t bother me! I telephoned my daughter to see if they were standing there at baggage claim, and she said they were still in the plane, waiting for the gate to open. While I was talking to her, the plane began to taxi again, but were on the other side of the airport, so it took them ten minutes to taxi to their gate. I told her I would meet them inside.
I sat in a row of chairs and saw them coming to baggage claim. There were three flights listed on the monitor for bags, but suddenly a lot of bags started arriving from Toronto—they had made a mistake on where to send them. There were so many bags that the carousel jammed and stopped. The Toronto passengers finally arrived to claim their luggage. Other luggage kept coming up, so I requested an MBO for my daughter’s family’s bags to arrive and almost immediately one of theirs popped up. I was sitting there with my granddaughter, playing “Ride a little horsey.”
With the four hour delay, added to arriving well before take-off in Jackson Hole, they were exhausted and down to their last diaper, so I volunteered to drive back, requested an MBO for the drive, and it went smoothly.
MBOs FOR FLIGHTS FROM YUKON & BACK
Caroline writes: Hello Tom, once again your message has rung true and helped to transform a recent air journey from potential extreme turbulence to mostly smooth skies! My father-in-law, who is 92 and for whom I am presently care-giving, and myself made an airplane trip from Whitehorse, Yukon to Prince George, B.C. by way of Vancouver due to airline scheduling.
Ironically, this involved flying south nearly 1,000 miles then returning north 500 miles. At any rate, two massive weather systems were meeting in the skies above the south B.C. coast, and all flights, if not cancelled or delayed, were expected to be highly turbulent. Not being a fan of turbulence, I spent most of both flights quietly reciting MBOs as my father-in-law, if he heard me, would have thought I’d gone barmy! For the most part, both flights down to Vancouver then back up to Prince George were pretty much turbulence-free!
We had a wonderful visit and an early Christmas with my two beautiful kids and their partners, and on the return flights five days later, more turbulence was expected, and the same MBOs were quietly recited and once again for the most part worked beautifully!
Tom, I am so filled with gratitude that I happened upon your Gentle Way site and will freely attest to how well MBOs work for pretty much any situation life deals out. Thank you to you, Theo, Gaia, Antura, any and all beings, our higher selves and every living, joyously jitterbugging particle in all of our universes!
MBOs FOR STORE RETURNS AND INJURY
Sue writes from Texas: Just wanted to let you know about a couple of MBO results.
Earlier this week I decided to make my Walmart returns before Dec 26th, but before I could make the trip I heard on the radio that the return lines at Walmart were already long so I said an MBO on my way to the store. When I arrived to my surprise there was only one person in line ahead of me and I completed my task in 5 minutes.
This morning I heard about an awful fire here in Houston where several homes were lost with one loss of life. A firefighter was injured and taken to the hospital but they had no information on the nature or severity of his injuries. Said my MBO for the families and firefighter and in less than an hour I heard on the TV he will make a full recovery. How is that for a speedy answer? Love those GA’s!!!

MBO FOR CLOSE PLANE CONNECTION
Molly writes from New York: In September, I made reservations to fly to Oregon to be with my daughter and grandkids for The Christmas Holiday. I said MBOs for a great flight, getting there on time, and having no issues. My flight to New Jersey was very close to my connecting flight time to Portland. I ran from one end of the terminal to the other all the way saying MBOs. When I got to the gate it was closed, and they said you’re too late. I said, “But it’s Christmas, and I really need to get there.” The lady at the gate opened the door to the runway and took me down to the plane, saying, “I can’t promise you anything, but we will see if they will open the door for you.” She knocked on the plane door, and they opened it just for me. Something I’ve never seen them do before. I thanked my GA many times. And am so grateful.

MBOs FOR TRIP FROM SEATTLE TO OREGON
Darlene writes: I rented a car to drive alone from Seattle to Oregon, so I wouldn’t have to drive my old car and be safe. Well, the tire went flat, as I was traveling down the freeway and was totally shredded by the time I was able to get over to a shoulder, which is always scary. I called AAA and said an MBO for them to arrive quickly, which they did and repaired the tire. I was able to drive to the next exit where there was a branch of my rental company (what were the chances of that?), who traded out my car for a large truck. I felt so blessed (even though I was 90 minutes behind schedule and hit rush hour traffic in Portland), to have successfully weathered my hazardous adventure. Thanks to “a little help from my friends”. Bless those spirits, angels and guides once again saving me.
MBO FOR TIME COMPRESSION
Lee writes: Was going to see my grandkids in their school Winter Concert and even though we left in time, and I said an MBO for easy travel and safe arrival and an easy parking space, traffic was heavier than we expected so I asked for a time crunch because we were running about 15 minutes behind schedule. Well, we arrived with about 9 minutes to spare and got a good space to park! And the concert was fun! MBOs just change your life in so many ways!
BP FOR GAIA AND ALL BEINGS
Chrissy writes: I say the benevolent prayer every day and I also say… I send love and light to all the beings in Gaia and all the beings who help Gaia. And just so I have captured all beings I add…I also send love and light to all the beings in the planet, on the planet and around the planet.
MBOs TO STOP COUGHING UP BLOOD
David in Arizona writes: I also have an MBO story for you. I have been coughing up blood for a week now. Once I start to cough, it can take a long time to stop. I started saying a brief MBO because I can’t really talk or even think straight during an attack. I just say God, MBO please. Help me stop coughing. Thank you. I love you. It can take a few minutes but it’s effective. I have repeated it numerous times and it seems to keep working. Thank you, Tom, for teaching me about MBOs.
I told David to go see a doctor. He emailed back to say he was in a hospital and they were running several tests to see what the problem is.
Let’s all say this BP out loud: “I ask any and all beings to aid, comfort, and assist the doctors to find the cause of David’s problem, and may he receive treatment that will bring him back to full health even sooner than we can hope for or expect, thank you!”

This is one of my own. I had a list my wife gave me for items to buy at Kroger’s. I always request MBOs for my drive to and from the store, and to find all the items on the list easily. Many times a store employee will pop up in the aisle I’m searching to find some obscure item to assist me. Last on the list, this time, was a fever blister medicine for my wife. It would be in the pharmacy section of the store. As I approached that section, I saw one of the employees with a cart about to begin stocking. I asked her where to find it, and she immediately pulled it out of the shopping cart she was using! I told her what great service she had given me, and I thought what a nice, simple MBO, shortened my time in the store.
MBO TO ARRIVE IN TIME FOR MOVIE
Lee writes: Tom, I love asking for an MBO for a time crunch when I need it. We decided to go to the movies on short notice. The theater we were going to is about 20 minutes from our home, factor in parking, buying our tickets, Popcorn, and getting into the theater and finding a seat all before the movie started was a big MBO considering we had about 1/2 hour to showtime. Not only did we make it in plenty of time but we were seated even before the previews started! This was our third viewing of Bohemian Rhapsody and we loved it this time more than the first two times!
MBO TO MEET INTERESTING GUY

It was so amazing, I’m currently on holiday in Mauritius and there was this guy sitting by the bar that seemed around the same age as me, and I wanted to be friends, but wasn’t sure how to approach it. Tom I requested an MBO and literally the following evening I was walking at around 22:00 on the beach and we literally bumped into each other and then that was an ice breaker to start a conversation.

MBO FOR MOVE
Emily writes: I have another one to share with you. Andrew and I rented the moving truck on the Monday PM (week of Thanksgiving), this meant we only had 24 hours to pack up the truck, drive 2 hours to our new location, unpack and drop off the truck without having to pay for a 2nd day.
We unloaded the truck and had one hour to drop off the truck at the designated location, open till 7PM. We went to that location and were told to go to another one, a street away. We tried to find the other location, per their directions, and could not find it, it was fully dark by then, since it was almost 8PM. We just figured it would have to be done in the AM and would most likely be charged an extra day. I said an MBO asking for assistance in not being charged the 2nd day, before going to sleep that night.
Andrew called U-Haul early the next AM (Wednesday) and asked where we could drop off the truck. We were given a totally different drop-off location this time. We said MBOs, again requesting that U-Haul would work with us and not charge us for the 2nd day, since it was not our fault the first designated drop-off told us they couldn’t take a 2nd drop-off truck for the night. When Andrew explained what had occurred the evening before, they took off the 2nd day charges and the extra mile charges since we had done so much extra driving to locate and get to a drop off station. The only charge they were not able to take off for the 2nd day was the insurance, which makes sense. I use MBOs all the time, no matter how small or big the issue or situation may be.

MBO FOR RETURN OF LOST PURSE
Joan writes: Thank you for all of the wonderful information that you provide for us. I want to tell you about my MBO that was answered within the hour of my having asked it.
I was shopping, and when I arrived at my car to leave, normally the first thing I do is put my purse in the car. This day I did not. I unloaded my basket, parked my basket, got in my car and left. I arrived at the grocery store. Looked down to get my purse. It was not there. Needless to say my purse was gone. Everything was in my purse. All identification, c-cards, $1,000 dollars were in my purse.
I immediately headed back to the store I just left. I started saying my MBO out loud. I kept repeating the MBO over and over. I called on my GA and all people that believe for help. When I got to the store I checked the parking lot and went into the store to see if it had been turned in. Nothing! I went home and was hysterical. I told my husband about my problem. We went into the house to start making the phone calls to stop all the cards. His phone was ringing, and it was the police wanting to know had I lost a purse. He told the police we would be there in 10 minutes. The policeman said a lady turned it into him, and said she found it buckled in the shopping cart. All I could say was thank you, thank you, for the awesome answer that the GA did in answering my urgent MBO. Tom, they work in the most awesome way. I think my GA knew my desperation and stepped in and took over. (Everything was in my purse). Keep up your amazing work.
MBO FOR KIDNEY STONE REMOVAL
Anna writes: My husband requested an MBO for a kidney stone surgery. He was told there was a 5% chance that the stones could be removed without having to put in another stent and/or without requiring another surgery. I’m so very thankful to share that he was part of the 5%.
WORK MBOs
Severine writes: 1) BP to cancel a bad project at work. I work with many young souls in my job and “I asked any and all beings to help the manager not to move forward with the project, if it is for the highest good,” and it worked 🙂 2) BP to receive help at work for me and my hubby. Both of our projects, this week, got better than expected. Thank you to all who said the BP, I always BP for anyone who takes part in BPs for others. Our GA and all the souls assisting are the best. MBO FOR SALE OF HOUSE & PUPPY HOMES
Linda writes: I said a benevolent prayer for the sale of my house and the best homes for my new dogs as one of my dogs had puppies. Well the vet wants a puppy and the lady buying my house wanted a house with a fenced yard so she could get a dog.
On the day of second showing my dog gave birth. I decided to let the showing proceed but I stayed there to ensure safety for the new dog family.
The lady wants the house and a dog so I was able to have an amazing outcome. Thanks for all you do.
MBO FOR BLOODWORK APPOINTMENT
Ralonne writes: Had some good MBOs occur today when I went to have blood drawn for procedure that I was just informed today was happening early tomorrow morning – interventional radiology angiogram. While I didn’t get a close up parking spot, the traffic was light both ways and was able to get in and out so quickly that I didn’t have time to read the book I brought with me before they called my name lol. Afterwards, traffic was light enough that I made good time back to Camarillo in time to get a couple of other errands done before heading home for the rest of the day.
MBO FOR SAFE DRIVING AND NO RAIN, TRIP
Donna writes: I just came back from a trip, and 2 weeks ago the weather was predicted to be very rainy. I said my MBOs for no rain while I was driving around, and that’s exactly what I got! There was a tiny drizzle the first evening, but after that it only rained at night when I wasn’t out and driving. Of course I said MBOs all during my trip for an easy time through security (I got TSA pre-check!), for my luggage to arrive safely. My luggage did arrive safely and everything went well. I really appreciate my angels and MBOs and Tom!

MBO TO REPLACE MEDICARE HMO
Sandy writes: I said an MBO for replacing my Medicare HMO for a plan with the same services. It looks like the MBO succeeded as my new plan is very similar.
I also got refunded $50 from Swagbucks for the Walmart gift card that went missing. I want to thank any and everyone who said that MBO with me.

Severine writes from China: 1) BP for Blood test and medical exam I have requested recently several BPs on this page. Thank you to everyone who participated needless to say that the results were better than I could hope for. 2) BP for parents to find the best tenants. I ask any all beings to assist my parents in finding the most benevolent tenant before Oct 1st last month and again it worked.
MBOs FOR TRIP TO NEW YORK CITY
Lee writes: Made a trip into NYC to deliver something for a friend and meet my son and his girlfriend for dinner. Said MBOs for weather, traffic, good timing, easy of delivery and a special dinner. We made great time going into the city, had no problems with traffic at all, found our destination with ease (had the address number incorrect but a trip around the block was a snap). Had parking to unload (a miracle!) and headed out of the city across to NJ to park the car and take the ferry back over to avoid leaving the city during rush hour traffic. Hit the ferry with 7 minutes to spare, rode over and met my son at his work and off to a wonderful dinner. Back to the ferry, got there as they were loading for the return trip. An easy ride home.
Anyone we met was kind and courteous and we couldn’t have asked for a better day! We were in the wrong lane at a light when we needed to make a right turn, I rolled down my window and asked the person next to us if she would let us in to make the turn and with a big smile she said yes, of course! There are wonderful people everywhere and MBOs just help you to find them easier. Thank you Tom!

Some months ago, I asked if Tom’s readers could say some Benevolent Prayers for me–for my health, my finances and other things. A few days after I emailed my request to Tom, I awoke, in the morning, to the feeling of a great wave of love and caring coming towards me. It felt as if huge numbers of people were thinking of me, worrying about me, wishing me to know that they would do everything they could to help me. It was so beautiful that it almost made me cry.
A few days later, the same thing happened again. I later found out Tom had published my request for BPs on his Facebook page and, a few days later, in his blog.
I had many feelings of personal connection with those who had said the BPs aloud. For instance, I felt there was a man–a quiet, studious, gentle man—and he was offering me healing.
My BP: “I ask any and all Beings to bless, thank, honor and assist all who those who say Benevolent Prayers for me, thank you!”
Some things in my life have improved. During a doctor’s visit, however, my doctor noticed certain symptoms and told me—he was most upset to tell me this—that I may have an autoimmune disease such as lupus or rheumatoid arthritis. I’m still having tests and waiting (in the public health system, here in Melbourne) to see a rheumatologist and get an “official” and specific diagnosis.
I decided to tackle this illness with MBOs. I requested MBOs to be led to the best remedies and to be cured of this condition. I began reading the Earthclinic website (it contains personal accounts of effective natural remedies for all manner of health conditions). I discovered the mineral boron has cured many people of joint and bone diseases including arthritis. Those of us living in countries where the soil is low in boron have, apparently, much higher incidences of bone and joint illnesses.
I’ve tried two different boron products (calcium fructoborate tablets—too acidic; and borax powder taken in small quantities—too salty and it affected my kidneys). Despite these products’ side-effects, the few doses I took were effective in containing the autoimmune disease. Random, worsening pains in various parts of the body seem to have disappeared—thank God—and the symptoms seem contained to one hand and one foot. I am now waiting for an order of boron citrate powder to arrive. I hope the boron citrate will have few, or no side-effects. I intend to take measured doses (perhaps 10mg per day, or more) and I hope to be cured. Fingers crossed and Guardian Angel on the task. Thank you, Tom, for sharing the miracle of MBOs with all of us.

MBO FOR FINDING HORMONE SUPPLEMENT
Angie writes: MBO for Finding Supplement
I have long been looking for a bio-identical hormone supplement that used to be available at my doctor’s clinic. The price has gone way high so I was looking at other sources online. There are lots available at bigger dosages and I only need a small dosage. I said an MBO before I searched online and suddenly a certain online store’s page popped up on my screen and it had the exact brand and dosage I have been looking for at one fourth of the price. Thank you GA’s angel guides and thank you, Tom for teaching us about BP’s & MBOs.
MBO FOR PERFECT TIMING OF PUPPY BIRTHS
Linda writes: My dog Missy got pregnant at 10 months and I was worried as she is such a young dog, and I am in the process of moving. So, I have been saying prayers along the way for a benevolent birth, health for the puppies and Missy, and perfect timing. I received the whelping (birthing) box in the mail on Monday assembled it Monday night and finished it on Tuesday Morning.
On Wednesday morning, Halloween, just after I came home from the gym, Missy came up to me looking like she was in labor, and sure enough, she had four puppies in less than two hours who all seem to be healthy. Timing was also helpful because I was also able to talk to my vet. I will be moving in 2.5 weeks, so that works out too because I didn’t want to be moving newborn pups as they are so vulnerable at that point. As Missy was giving birth I was saying benevolent prayers for her and the puppies, and I looked out the front window and saw a couple of birds look into the window, like they were watching over the process.
I have to say the benevolent prayers made the process much less stressful for every being involved.
MBO FOR DENTAL SURGERY
Cathy writes: Hi Tom-I said an MBO for dental surgery I had today to go well and it has gone so much better than I could have imagined and I hardly had any pain at all!
[Next day] Second day after surgery and STILL no pain or discomfort!!!
MBO FOR DRIVE HOME IN STORM
Sue writes: Yesterday the weather forecast predicted heavy rain and thunder storms for the evening hours. My work day is over at 5:00 PM and at approximately 4:30 PM the storms hit and hazardous weather warnings were posted for my area of town. The heavy rain continued until about 5:30 when we had a break and I made a run for my car. I said my MBO asking for a safe trip home as some areas were already experiencing street flooding. My trip home was faster than I expected as no traffic lights were out, no flooding on the roads I traveled and the rain continued to be light during my drive. Moments after I pulled into my garage the heavy rain returned and continued the remainder of the night. I know this isn’t as significant as many of the other MBOs that are shared but I am a newbie at this and by following your suggestion to start out with simple MBOs I am amazed. Thanks for your leadership and I look forward to your newsletters each week.
P.S. I have posted a copy of the BP for Gaia on my bathroom mirror, my frig door and my car visor. They keep reminding me to send them out multiple times each day. Thanks for the suggestion!

MBO TO FIX CAR HEADREST
Kathy writes: Well, I have another car MBO for you. I recently bought a newer used
truck and while I love the truck, I didn’t love the headrest. It was at an odd angle that pushed my head forward and when I drove for any length of time my neck, shoulders, and upper back would begin hurting. It was getting worse and finally I decided to do something about fixing the headrest. I began researching solutions online and discovered they involved purchasing new headrests or having the existing ones altered, all of which cost hundreds of dollars. Finally I remembered to ask for a Most Benevolent Outcome that I could find a solution to fixing my headrests that was quick, easy, and inexpensive.
Afterwards I decided to go to a machine shop to see how much it would cost to change the angle of the posts on the headrest. I drove into town but couldn’t find the machine shop at its old location and didn’t know where it had been moved. So I turned around and was driving out of town, when I was inspired to stop in at the local auto body shop. A couple of guys came out to see the problem and one said, “They’re adjustable, you know.” I was stunned! He showed me how to push the headrest forward and let it spring back to the angle that was perfect!
He wouldn’t let me pay him, other than accepting my very grateful thanks. Quick, easy, and inexpensive! Thank you GA’s… and thank you Tom for bringing this wonderful method to us all.
MBO TO NEVER LOSE AN EARRING AGAIN
Daralyn writes: I have a story which will sound extraordinary (I can hardly believe it myself) but I swear it’s true! Last week, my husband and I flew to California where he planned to attend a professional meeting. I wear earrings every day, and prefer the style with hooks as they are easier to get in, but have the disadvantage of being easy to dislodge if I merely touch my ear. That evening, as I was preparing for bed, I discovered that I was missing one earring. I assumed it had fallen out in the plane, and gave up ever seeing it again. But I was so mad at having lost a nice gemstone earring that I requested an MBO for never losing an earring again!
The next day as I was doing my morning preparations, I noticed that there were two earrings, not one, on the bathroom sink. I asked my husband where the second one had come from, and he said, “I found it in my pocket!” It is totally beyond me how Spirit could drop an earring into the pocket of a man who not only was seated, so the pocket opening would be squeezed shut, but also had the seatbelt buckle fastened over it! Nevertheless, it was undeniably there, and it had not gotten lost, as per MBO. Thank you. Spirit!
MBO TO FIND MATCHING TILE
Kathy writes: One of my sons installed a new vanity cabinet in my bathroom. It was 2 inches shorter than the old cabinet with left a gap in the tile. Since our home is over 20 years old we were afraid we might not be able to match the tile and after 3 days of hunting in every store plus Amazon with no luck my husband thought we would have to retile the entire bathroom.
I said a MBO and the thought came to me to check the ReStore down the road. If you are not familiar with ReStore, it receives donations of building supplies, old furniture, etc and sells them very reasonably and the money goes to Habitat for Humanity. Almost unbelievably, THEY HAD A MATCH! But even more amazing is that they only had tile in 2 colors and the other color was a larger size tile.
MBO FOR TRIP DURING NOR-EASTER
Lee writes: Tom, we are driving up the East Coast right in the middle of the nor’easter! I said MBOs for good weather even knowing what was predicted and even though we have had rain, some heavy at times, we have not experienced any of the real heavy rains, heavy winds or possible flooding that the have been talking about. So far, safe travels.

MBO FOR PARKING SPACE
Here is one MBO that demonstrates the longer in advance you can request an MBO the better the success. My wife has her hair done at a salon in a busy shopping center, which is also having some construction issues. So the day before her appointment we both requested a Most Benevolent Outcome (MBO) for a parking space close to the salon.
When she arrived, the parking spots were completely filled, but out of the salon came a lady, gets in her car, and my wife got her parking spot, directly in front of the salon! My wife said it appeared as if the lady came “charging out the door.”
BENEVOLENT PRAYERS FOR FLORENCE
In both my newsletter and on Facebook, I requested that everyone say the same Benevolent Prayer (BP) for the winds and rain to be reduced for Hurricane Florence, as it was predicted to be a Category 4 and possible a Cat 5 by the time it made landfall. Winds were at 140 mph.
As you probably heard on the news, Florence made landfall as a Category 1, with winds of 90 mph! Thanks all of you, who took part.
BPs AND MBOs FOR HOUSE REPAIRS
Linda writes: I asked for a BP for my propane stove work to be lower in cost than I expect. Part of the job was to remove rust and repaint. The $700 job turned into $333 total cost once done. I asked for the best results in cost for tree removal and the $1500 job became $1300.
I asked best septic person at the lowest price and I got a new septic guy who repaired the system and found errors in the work of the original installer whom I was using and his cost is much more reasonable.
All in all it makes owning a 269 year old house much more benevolent! By the way I’ve been told that I’ve lived on this property before!

MBOs FOR LOTTERY & CRUISE
Colleen writes: I have another MBO story Tom!! I have said an MBO several times requesting that I purchase a winning lottery ticket. I also requested several MBO’S for extra money for my upcoming cruise to Greece. I just won one thousand bucks in the lottery on a $2 ticket I purchased. I am going to the lottery office tomorrow to cash it in!!
I feel so blessed and grateful. Just a wow moment that proves once again the power of MBO’S!! Thank you Tom for The Gentle Way to live.
Just a little reminder for everyone. Large lottery winnings, I’m told, fall under the soul contract of “instant wealth,” whatever the source. This amount does not fall under that category, and would be put to a specific use—in this case her vacation. Years ago I won half of an $8,400 bingo pot on a cruise (naturally after requesting an MBO), and that plus 50% off our next cruise, because one of the decks had a water link, allowed us to go again the next year.
MBO FOR NEPHEW’S MEDICATION
Sandy writes: My nephew needed some medication that his pharmacy stopped shipping to his state. Other pharmacies charged high prices. I asked for an MBO for him to get his meds at a reasonable price. It turned out he got partial coverage by insurance, which works just as well as a low price.
