Welcome to this week’s edition of my Benevolent Outcomes Blog, and welcome to everyone who subscribed in the past week.  This Blog is for people just discovering how to use a very simple, yet powerful and effective spiritual tool you can use every day the rest of your life.  It will lessen the stress and fear of life in general, and will make your life easier. It’s so simple a lot of people say “It can’t be this easy,” but it is, because IT WORKS! This reconnects you with your Guardian Angel, or higher power, or whatever your belief is.  You simply say, “I request a Most Benevolent Outcome for…….., thank you!” When you read the stories below, sent from all over the world, we use the acronym MBO for Most Benevolent Outcomes, GA for Guardian Angel, and BP for Benevolent Prayers (what you ask for other people).

MBO FOR FENDER-BENDER

I’ll start off with an MBO story of my own.  Whenever I get in my car to go ANYWHERE, I always request a Most Benevolent Outcome (MBO) for the drive to wherever I’m headed. Three or four weeks ago my son was in the car with us and he said, “Why do you request a MBO for such a short drive,” or something to that effect.  I said you never know who could pull out from a side street without looking, or so on.

Naturally the next week he was picking up our business mail, and as he was backing out a young lady backed out at the same time and his back bumper hit the side of her car back by the rear wheel.  It cracked his bumper on his RAV-4 and damaged the side of her car.  Her boyfriend was nearby and immediately was on my son for hitting her.

I talked to him later and he was adamant that it was my son’s fault and was going to contact our insurance company—not his.  Naturally I said, “I request a Most Benevolent Outcome for this problem and may the results be even better than we can hope for or expect.” Our insurance is a $1,000 deductible, so I was not looking forward to paying that fee.

In the meantime my son got busy and used Google Earth to zoom in on the parking lot, and he was able to make a diagram of how his car was virtually out of the parking space before she backed out.  Just this week we were informed that the other insurance company would totally pay for the repairs to his car.

Now that’s a nice MBO!

HEARTRATE DOWN WITH MBO

Molly writes:  Hi Tom, on the night of your interview, my husband check his heart rate and it was high at 97, I asked for a MBO, and in five minutes it was down to 77.

Here’s a suggestion for anyone who needs to lower their blood pressure and heart rate.  If you see your blood pressure up to slowly breathe in through your nose, hold it for a count of 8, breath out through his mouth for a count of 8, hold for a count of 4, then start over breathing in for a count of 8.  All this while you have your thumb and index fingers on both hands touching each other. I find I can lower my blood pressure and heart rate by doing this.  I do suggest you close your eyes during this exercise.

MBO GETS RID OF RAP MUSIC

David writes:  Had an amazing experience today… In the summertime my neighbor’s son comes by and often plays rap music that’s offensive and explicit. So today I tried an MBO for having the music stop and in the meantime put on some Latin music to cover it up while we were hanging out in the pool. Well a little while later the unimaginable happened! They switched the rap off and instead put on Michael Buble and we ended up turning our music off to listen to theirs.

CHANGING A MBO

Kim writes on Facebook:  Still using and loving MBO’s.  Thank you for being true to your purpose and sharing them with the planet!

Quick question- I requested an MBO, then realized my wording wasn’t as expansive as it could have been. It felt I was limiting myself in the request.  Can you cancel an MBO and request a new one? Or say you ask …for one thing, then realize you want something totally different.  How does this work?  Thanks.

For Kim and everyone else, just talk to your Guardian Angel (GA) and say you wish to change your request.  My wife and I have done this many, many times.

SHOPPING MBO’S

Silvia on Facebook writes:  I even use MBO’s when I go food shopping and request for a price easy affordable for me and also to find such and such or something even better 🙂 and it works … I use MBO’s all the time and I’m teaching it to my son, friends, family – Thank you for the amazing work, blog you do and the information you provide to us– such wonderful stories and insight- What a blessing and we all learn from each other student/teacher and vice versa – Lots of Love and Blessings to you Tom and thank you to Mother Gaia, the Sun and your Guide. ♥♥♥ We are so grateful for all you share.

CLIENT ARRIVING ON TIME BP

Lois writes:  Today Lydia, a client of mine, called to say she might be late for her appointment with me because she and her crew were setting up in a private home for a “shoot” tomorrow and the next day. She did not know how long it would take, and if she might need to reschedule. I told her to call me around 30 minutes before the time of her appointment, and we would decide then what to do.

After I hung up I said a BP for her to be able to set up for the film shoot quickly, easily and efficiently with the smoothest experience possible, and that she finish early. I also said, “May the outcome be better than I could hope for or expect.”

She called an hour before her appointment time and said in a most surprised voice that she had actually finished early, and would make the appointment on time.

When she arrived for the appointment, I told her about the BP. She said, “Well, I guess it worked, because it was very smooth and fast. Now we need to say one for one of the actors who is not sure he can get his lines memorized in time!” So we did.

Having been in the film business a long time, I know how rare it is for shoots to go according to schedule.  Lois could have requested a MBO, but a Benevolent Prayer worked great too.

OUT OF THE MOUTHS OF BABES

Taylore writes:  Tom, I am going to buy the 2nd book and help those sales go through the roof. I use my 1st Gentle Way book to introduce people to the Most Benevolent Outcome. I know a very special 5-year old who reminds his mom “Mom, why don’t you reques…t a Most Benevolent Outcome” when she needs some help. It’s great, our children become our teachers.

MBO MOWING THE LAWN

Louise writes:  I am so glad that I have read your two books and am using MBO’s!

Today I wanted to cut the lawn and we have had a lot of rain, so there wasn’t much of a window of time to take advantage of it.  We have been having some difficulties with the lawn mower, but I decided I would give it a try anyway.  At first it didn’t want to start.  I said an MBO, waited for a second, and bingo- it started!  On my first round of the lawn, I noticed that it didn’t seem to have much power, so obviously there was something amiss with the drive belt or the like.

Again I said an MBO to help this lawnmower cut the whole lawn for me today.  I chugged along for about a minute, then Presto!  more power!  Tom, this is SOOOOO exciting!  Of course I thanked my GA and any other helpers that joined in!

I want to thank you for taking the time to write your books and to do your newsletter.  I look forward to it so much. MBO’s make life so much easier to deal with!  THANK YOU! Enjoy your great expectations!

MBO’S ALL THE TIME

Lezley from Colorado writes:  Thank you so much for spreading the information on your great work.  I find the more I request the benevolent outcomes the more amazing they become.  Things ‘fix themselves’, rain comes when it’s supposed to and right now I am so certain the new owner for our Colorado house in the country is about to walk through the door I am scrambling to get things perfect…and have said an MBO for that as well.  It’s a very peaceful feeling to be able to extend a clear and easy invitation to communicate with your angel or the highest part of yourself, as some would see it.  Thanks again.

TRIP COMPLETED THANKS TO GA

Richard writes:  Just to let you know personal experience of an MBO.  We were flying from Gatwick, UK on the 9 May to pick up a cruise liner later that day .The previous night we were told that the Barcelona airport was closed due to volcanic ash clouds.  With some trepidation we headed for the airport, having made an earnest MBO.

The two preceding flights to Barcelona had been canceled,  ours was grounded on the runway for two hours but flew to be one of the first flights into the airport.  On our return, on 16 may we were  informed that due to volcanic ash cloud in the vicinity Gatwick would be closed at 1 am.  In this event we  landed at Gatwick with 17 minutes to spare–the last plane to land before the airport closed.

I felt that that my guardian angel had been working overtime and possibly some other passengers’ as well.  Thank You.

MBO AT POST OFFICE & PHONE

Diane writes:  I have to tell you about my latest MBO’s.  The other day I went to the post office to get my mail, but before I left early in the morning during my meditation and MBO’s I requested a MBO to receive a check…………got it!

Then this morning I requested a MBO that my son calls me since he has been calling less and less………well, this evening he called!  Way to go ANGELS!!!!  Love them…..thank you Tom and Thank Theo and Gaia too!!!  Love you guys!

MBO’S IN PRINCE GEORGE, BC

Michelle in Prince George, British Columbia Canada writes:  Today – I had a very busy day running errands all over town – and did an MBO for parking spots, quick line ups etc – easy peasy – Even a free parking spot at the hospital (not an easy task) – so thank you again for introducing me to MBO’s.

Cindy in California writes:  You know how crazy the post office is? MBO for no line … bingo, no line.  AAA is usually crazy, too. No line! My son burned his hand on a BBQ handle, Benevolent Prayer took care of it!

MBO BUYING A DRESS

Annie writes:  Here is a MBO for you. Yesterday, my daughter tells me a bout a Banquet that she will attend in September and THE dress she wants to wear that day….followed by ” Mom, can we go shopping today ?”

I am tired, not in the mood, so I ask my GA for help. I said, “I request a MBO so that we find a dress that she adores, fast, effortlessly, in the first store she chooses and at a reasonable price.” Before leaving, I am inspired to look for ” printable in store coupons” for one particular kind of high-end store I assume we will be close to in that Mall.

Over there, I let her lead the way, she enters the store in question (not knowing I have a $30 rebate), picks four dresses, we get in a large dressing room, airy, where I can sit and watch  (usually these places are small and smelly, lol), she falls in love with one lovely dress, she is beaming , which is a rarity.  I present my coupon, we pay, we are done in record time !!!

Today, I am still stunned at how fast and easy it was.  I know a lot of mothers can relate.

MBO FOR PEACEFUL PASSING

Cheri writes:  I had to share this.  My mother finally lost her battle with breast cancer on July 23.  I’m have a very hard time with it because it was unexpected.  My family and I prayed and prayed.  I gave my Aunt your address and she started requesting MBO’s immediately.  We both said one about surrounding my mom with loving pink light.

This is the interesting part:  On the evening of her passing she was encased in pink light!  We couldn’t figure it out.  The blinds were closed.  The rest of the family thinks part of it was the dimmed lights, but my Aunt and I know that it was our MBO.  Also she had white light coming from the top of her head.  I couldn’t see it, so I moved to the end of the bed and I saw three lights that reminded me of a crown.

Since this has happened I continuously request MBOs.  Thank you for all you do.  I hope one day to be able to communicate with my guardian angel or hear my angels because I talk to them all the time.

MBO TO THE GARAGE & WORK

Get this.  I was getting ready to head for the bus Thursday morning at 7:55 and suddenly remembered [thank you angels] that I was to take the car to the shop – about 10 minutes ago! A quick MBO for a safe and timely arrival at the garage.

After a hasty choosing and donning of wardrobe items, I headed out to the garage, which is about a short block from my abode.  When I drove out to the main street – at peak go-to-work traffic time – there was none except a lone cyclist.  Clear sailing!  I got across town staying under the speed limit [and having a couple of red lights] to the garage in gig time.  I didn’t look at my watch from the moment I said the MBO until I got to the garage at 8:06.  That was less than half the usual time. Surely time had been compressed.  Then at the garage, I was offered a ride downtown and got there earlier than my usual bus trip.  Bless my angels & MBO’s.

For anyone who hasn’t tried saying Most Benevolent Outcomes – please do.  They are uplifting and they work!  I start every day with “I expect great things” and “Most Benevolent Outcomes for every moment of the day” and then throughout the day I say “MBO’s” for various particular things.

MBO’S “DOWN UNDER”

She asked me to change her name so Isabelle writes:  Greetings from Melbourne, Australia, and I hope this finds you and your family very well.

Thank you for your fascinating newsletter (which goes to my other email address), and thank you for sharing such beautiful and useful information with all of us.

A recent MBO …My very old, but reliable computer began to have serious problems in mid-April  – physical damage to the hard disk drive. It looked as though it had stopped working all together, or, if I were able to get it going, it wouldn’t last much longer. I would have to obtain another computer.

Lack of computer access is a big deal for me, as I co-ordinate a support group for people living with disabilities, and need to be able to receive and send emails for all matters pertaining to the group. As everyone would know, these days almost all business and community communications are conducted via email.

Another aspect to the loss of computer access, for me: I have disabilities myself, so obtaining a new computer isn’t just a matter of going out and buying one.

I remembered your oft-repeated advice, Tom, that MBOs can be said for all manner of things. When my computer suddenly went on the blink, I said more MBOs than you could count. I requested an MBO for help obtaining a new computer; for my old computer to keep working until I had a replacement up and running and a whole lot more.

I telephoned my brother-in-law, who is an IT consultant, and he gave me loads of good advice. I was able to get the old computer going again, ‘though most of the time it wouldn’t work properly. On one occasion, it slowed down, over a period of 35 minutes, and stopped all together. Even the system clock stopped. I turned off the power switch and said “R.I.P.” as I thought that was the end. Then, a few of hours later, I said an MBO for it to work, thinking I was silly to even expect it. Lo and behold, I turned it on, and it worked perfectly!

The help continued. My sister and brother-in-law telephoned me out of the blue and said they were sending me the funds to buy a refurbished computer! I found a non-profit organization that could sell me a good secondhand computer at a reasonable price, and was able to pay to have it delivered, at minimum inconvenience to me.  So, not only does my Guardian Angel love me and want to help me, but also he/she is very skilled with technology!

Once again, thank you, Tom, for sharing such useful life-skills that bring assistance and also healing and growth.  You seem to work so hard, and I look forward to the day (coming soon, I believe!) when you will be a household name, and millions will be saying MBOs for their own good and for the good of the planet.

MBO WITH PAYPAL

Marie writes:  I want to share an MBO that happened this morning. To make this story short, I was having trouble with PayPal dipping into my bank account. They charged me too much, and I got the problem solved.

I said: Guardian Angel, I request a MBO, that I get my refund back to my bank account, better than I expected, THANK YOU!”

When I went to my local branch, I told showed them the letter that PayPal had sent me, and with no questions asked they fixed my problem, and got my money back!!! So I blocked PayPal from dipping into my account without my consent.

After that I thanked my guardian angel. That made my day a brilliant one!

MBO FOR LOWER HOUSE PAYMENT

Lorene writes:  Tom:  Thank you for the work you are doing.  I have been doing MBO’s for about a year and a half now, and appropriately assist others as well.  I recently assisted a friend who had her house on the market for 22 months and within a week of using the MBO I suggested she had a successful offer, which she wrote you about and you published in your newsletter.

Another interesting assist was with my hairdresser who has two teenage daughters and been trying for some time to renegotiate her loan as she was in danger of losing her home.  As many people who have been trying to renegotiate recently, she was not having much luck, but was expecting a final call from her lender in the next day or two.   I was at the salon when she explained this to me and I wrote out an MBO suggestion and told her if she felt it was right to go outside the salon immediately and say the MBO out loud.  She did this, and called me two days later to say the lender had called and had reduced her loan payments to within $100 of what she had asked for, but that this was doable for her.

MBO’S FOR HOUSE

Jan writes:  Heard you on Psychic Radio last night, great job! I ask any and all beings to aid and assist Tom in getting MBO’s out to many people all over the world in the most fun and easiest way possible, and may the results be better than we could hope for or expect !

Here’s another MBO story for you.   I put my house up for sale in April.   Many people have come to see the home.   MBO’s that I have requested around this are..I request MBO for the perfect people to purchase this home.  I request MBO for the sale of this home.  I request MBO for improved relationship with my realtor. (She wishes for me to lower the price and I prefer to stand my ground on the listing price) I request MBO for the perfect new place to move to. Always requesting that the results be better than i could hope for or expect and thanking my GA’s for all their aid and assistance.

Yesterday, a man stopped by my house. He said he came over to give me heads up.   His house is also for sale and some buyers decided, day before closing, that they were not going to purchase his home.  He said that these buyers were very rude, difficult people who wanted to get the home for a ridiculously low price.    They threatened to sue my neighbor saying arguing that so much was wrong with the house that they would need the price reduced, it was a nightmare to deal with them.

My neighbor did not give in and gave the people their deposit and sent them packing :).   The neighbor heard that these people were going to look at my house and he wanted me to know how difficult these people have been to deal with.    I think that my GA’s were giving me heads up and i thanked any and all beings for watching my back and for the helpful information.

I am confident that my home will sell to lovely buyers, people who will fit into this wonderful neighborhood and that i will sell this house for a price that i am comfortable with and satisfied with.  It’s nice to know that the Angelic realm is working on my behalf.

Thank you Tom and your GA’s for teaching other’s about MBO’s.   The more people use them, the more flow we will all be in and more benevolent outcomes will occur.

MBO FOR NO RAIN DURING OUTING

Carol writes:  Having been a subscriber for a few years, and using MBOs pretty regularly, I thought I would take this opportunity to share my weather MBO story with you.

I was helping my girlfriend move one Saturday along with another friend of hours.  The weather was looking pretty cloudy and heavy rain and thunderstorms were predicted.  But we could not change our plans – we had to move her out.  As the sky got to looking more and more gruesome and the clouds got blacker and blacker, we despaired of making it thru the day without getting ourselves and her possessions drenched.

It dawned on me (finally) that we might say an MBO for the rain, so I explained that I was going to ask my Guardian Angels to keep the rain at bay.  They, of course, had no clue, so I made them repeat it after me.  I asked that the rain be kept light for us and that our day would be better than we could hope for or imagine. They were skeptical, needless to say.

As our day progressed the rains came only a little, mostly spritzing; not even enough to wet the grass.   However, it was not until Monday morning that I realized the extent of our MBO.  My co-worker told me about her golf game at the same time and on a course less than 2 miles from where we were moving.  She had to play 4 holes in the driving rain!  That’s when I gave my Guardian Angels a really big Thank You!  Needless to say, my friends are now firm believers in MBOs and use them all the time, just like me.

In my meditations, I’m told requesting MBO’s is the first BIG STEP in becoming JUNIOR CREATORS IN TRAINING, as we’re starting to IMPLEMENT what we’ve just in the past read about.

MBO FOR CAT

Lyn writes:  A few weeks ago one of my cats went missing. After a few days of not seeing him I had given up hope of him being alive. I had done an MBO to find out what had happened to him as I really needed closure. A couple of weeks later I started calling him again.

That night my cat appeared with half his body weight gone. I took him to the vet and then tried nursing him back to health at home but he was unable to keep food and water down. Taking him back to the vet the last time I said an MBO for finding the best treatment for him. It turned out the best treatment for him was to end his suffering as he had pancreatic cancer that was literally making his body consume itself. I said an MBO to be guided on whether to be with him or not while he was put down because I can faint from intense emotional stuff. When I saw him I knew I had to take him out into the sun one last time, so he was on my lap in the sun when the vet gave him a shot to put him to sleep before giving him the shot to put him down. I thanked my GA for giving me the answers I needed to be at peace and help my little friend too. Thank you for all you do, Tom.

For anyone who’s had to be with their beloved pet when it’s time for them to leave, you KNOW how hard this is!

MBO’S FOR DRIVING & MORE!

Chrissy writes:  I was driving to work this morning and saying my MBO for a safe drive and this is exactly what I say –
I request a most benevolent outcome for a very safe journey to work with only keenly aware drivers around me and that I am also a keenly aware driver, thank you, thank you, thank you. The extra bit is the ‘only keenly aware drivers’ which hopefully allows those that are not aware to drive elsewhere. I also forgot to say that I always add 3 thanks you’s every time.

Also, I have been using MBO’s for my husband who has been out of work for several months. By saying them for him, it helps me to let go of the angst in him not having a job and in the thought of being able to meet all the bills on time.

I use MBO’s for the weather a lot of time. When we were in England in Sept/Oct two years ago, I asked the angels everyday to give us pleasant weather. It rained on the day I forgot to ask for nice weather! I noticed a few days before we left, a very strong weather front on the weather maps coming towards England. After we left, it hit the country. I thanked the angels for their help.

I use the “three thank you’s” when I see the MBO request granted not only as thanks, but to remind myself that it did happen.  It reinforces the action.

MBO’S TO START THE DAY

Sandra in Queensland, Australia writes:  First of all a big thank you for your newsletter, which I look forward to reading each week.   The MBOs have been such a help and I use them every day.   I always manage to get a carpark right where I want it and the MBOs also help with every day activities.  I start the day with an MBO specifically relating to what I am doing that day and always ask for white light around our cars when traveling. Thank you again for the work you are doing on behalf of humanity.

GYM EQUIPMENT MBO

Sara writes:  I have been enjoying and sharing your newsletter for a couple of years now.  MBO’s are becoming a way of life for me.  There are so many that I wish I had started to write them down. (I was a skeptic to begin with!)

However, I wanted to share this one because I can’t stop grinning when I think about it!   I’ve had a gym membership for many years. We recently moved to a new area and I had my membership transferred, however it is not convenient for me to get to the new facility.  So I saw an ad for a TotalGym and thought that would be something I could use at home and would then cancel my gym membership.  Not wanting to pay full price, I checked on-line for a used model.  At that point, I requested an MBO for myself to acquire a TotalGym. I contacted a couple of people on-line but each one already had a buyer. I stayed confident that my MBO would work!

That weekend we had friends come to visit and in the course of conversation, I mentioned to them that I would like to get one but didn’t want to pay for a new one. Here it comes!!!!…………  My friend has one in her basement that she is looking to get rid of!! I am grinning again!!!!  Thanks, Tom!!!

MBO’S FOR PASSPORT, HOTEL, PHONE

Laurie writes: Here are a few recent MBOs I’d like to share.

I recently went to my local courthouse to renew my passport and requested an
MBO for a great parking space close to the front door. When I arrived, it was there waiting for me — a nice end spot under the shade of a tree.  I also requested an MBO for the whole process of renewing my passport to go swiftly and without complication or delay.  Well, it had one complication –the local Walgreens that took the passport photo did it incorrectly so it was unacceptable. But there were no delays — I was second in line.  No sooner did I thank my GA for the incredibly short line than the line immediately filled up behind me.  Six more people walked in!  So I thanked my GA again!  I was able to have my passport photo taken on the spot by the
clerk, so I didn’t have to leave and come back and waste time and energy, or lose my place in line.  So that also answered my MBO for “no delay”!

I experienced another MBO that had a definite WOW factor. I was struggling to change hotel reservations through a convention website.  I had booked one type of room and wanted to change the reservation to another type, but couldn’t do it online.  I contacted the convention travel agent by phone, and even he said that the change could not be made.  Well, I requested an MBO to get the room type of my choice, and literally TWO MINUTES LATER the agent called me back to say that he was able to change my reservation.  WOW!

Today, I had to call my phone company because of an incorrect charge. I requested an MBO to get the perfect representative to help me resolve the billing problem. The woman who helped me was one of the most cheerful people I’ve ever encountered in such a situation! She was able to correct the problem and credit my account in a jiffy, even though she kept apologizing for the delay.  (I had to laugh at that because I could hear her typing at the speed of lightning.)

I also got a good laugh yesterday when I requested an MBO for a parking space close to the door of a certain store and THREE spots opened up!

I request an MBO every morning for a creative and positive day, and I’m full of new ideas and a happy attitude.

MBO ON CANCELLED TRIP

I’ll start with one of my own.  This last April I had paid over $1,200 for entrance to a world TV market in Cannes, France held two times per year and had reserved my hotel.  Naturally I requested a Most Benevolent Outcome (MBO) for my trip way in advance. As time grew closer, I grew perplexed as I was working on two large deals for my company, plus the number of people signing up to attend was way off the previous year at that juncture, plus business had really slowed.

I had really wanted to attend, but finally decided to let a representative of mine in Europe handle my meetings and I decided to stay put and work on the larger deals.  I was not happy about this at all.

The results were that I was glad I did not go.  One of the deals I was working on did come through, business continued to deteriorate through the spring and into the summer, plus the volcano in Iceland blew ash, and if you recall, many flights to and from Europe were canceled.  Several of my friends had to stay in Cannes an extra week (I know it sounds good, but you have to get back to your office) with the extra expense of hotels and food before they were able to get a plane out.

So all in all, a Most Benevolent Outcome!

1-800 MBO

Laurie writes:  Here’s an “instant MBO” for you.  Yet again I was struggling with confirming a hotel reservation.  I called the 800 phone number, went through all the prompts, and was informed by a recording that “all representatives were busy”.  I hung up, waited a bit, then dialed again.  In the middle of dialing the 800 number, I requested an MBO for a representative to answer immediately.

Well, one picked up immediately.  And I mean IMMEDIATELY.  It was only a few seconds after my MBO request.  I’ve used my “1-800 MBO” on all such calls ever since and have had terrific results.

Thanks Laurie!  I’m sure I’ll not be the only one using this from now on.

MBO SONG

Rita writes:  Tom, I wanted to tell you about an MBO I requested……….too funny!

Two weeks ago, my daughter, her husband and 3 grandkids headed to Schlitterbahn in Galveston, Texas for a day of fun in the water. We had to take 2 cars because we had so much junk and my 16-year-old grandson was in the car with me.

I told him just to be safe I was going to do an MBO, and of course he wanted to know what it was so I explained. My request was “Angels I would like to request a Most Benevolent Outcome for our outing for the day, thank you Angels.” As the word Angels came out of my mouth my grandson said “And, please give us some good music to listen to on the way.” I just laughed.

Then he began to tell me about how he loved old ’70s and ’80s music, so I asked him if he liked Evil Woman by Santana. He is autistic and has a photographic memory, but as he reached for the button on the radio to change the station his reply was, “That song doesn’t compute, Meemah.” And, there at the other radio button was the song.

We laughed hysterically. Then he said, “No wonder I couldn’t remember the song, it was by Electric Light Orchestra.” Just thought I would share.

And he’s correct–it was The Electric Light Orchestra.

MBO FOR BETTER HOME

Angel writes:  I want to share this MBO that happened to me. I’ve been looking for a cheaper place to live. A while back I requested an MBO:” Guardian angel, I request a MBO that you help me find a bigger place with 2 bedrooms, Thank you”. Well a few weeks ago, my friend was trying to purchase his 3rd house and so he gave me the opportunity to live there and pay cheaper rent. I was happy.

But then this week he broke the bad news that he was no longer getting the house, because the bank was taking too long on the on the paperwork. So just yesterday, a friend told me about the big apartments where she lives now, they are spacious and the rent is cheap. So now am planning to move to an apt! It will help me a lot because where I live now, the main stores are 30-45 minutes away no matter what direction your going. So I will save on gas!!

The wierd thing is that I had a strong intuition that I was going to move very soon. I saw signs already.

Sometimes when you request MBO, be careful what you ask for. In a way, I appreciate what my G.A what he did for me. Even though it wasn’t a house that I expected to live in it, it turned out to be  an apartment. Your Guardian Angels know what’s best for us!

RAFFLE TICKET MBO

Sue writes:  Just wanted to tell you I love both your books! They have been so helpful in my life and in my kid’s too—we all do MBOs all the time.  I wanted to tell you of one that was the best so far—my youngest daughter and I were at the place of employment’s biggest fundraiser auction of the year and I bought 3 raffle tickets for $25.  The largest prize was a 42” Plasma TV.

So just before the numbers were drawn, I said an MBO to win the TV—and guess what??  We did!!!  My daughter was so excited, she couldn’t wait to tell her oldest sister!!!   I have done MBOs for parking, good days at work, but nothing real substantial until now.  How it reinforced my faith.  My kids and I have been going through a rough time (I am in the process of getting a divorce) so this was a real nice surprise.

MBO: BLESSING IN DISGUISE

Jeff Maziarek (http://jeffmaziarek.spiritsimple.com) sent me this blog he posted on his website:  Perhaps three years ago a friend referred me to a book entitled “The Gentle Way” by Tom Moore. The key message in this book is that our Guardian Angel always stands ready to assist us in countless ways; all we need to do is ask. Tom’s recommended approach is to make the following statement: “I request a Most Benevolent Outcome (MBO) for_____ (fill in the blank) and then say “Thank You!” And, the more emotion you express when making the request the better.

An important point to remember is that you’re not always assured of getting your desire manifested, as in some instances it is simply your soul’s path for you to experience a particular situation in a certain way. However, it certainly doesn’t hurt to ask, for you never know what good could come your way. Tom recommends starting with simple things like asking that a parking space be available in a crowded area, and then expand your requests from there.

I’ve been using MBOs for a while now, and have experienced some very positive results. On Saturday I had an experience using one that I felt compelled to share. While trimming some tall bushes in my yard, ones that required me to climb up a ladder, I requested an MBO that I “remain safely on this ladder and not fall off.” As I reached the first step down from the top of the ladder, I began using my electric hedge trimmer to clip the few sprigs of new growth that had emerged in the past two weeks. I was able to cut all but one of them, but rather than stepping down the ladder, moving it, and then climbing it again I decided to try and use the device with my left hand only, and reach far across the top of the bush (which is about three feet across). As I began that effort, within seconds I was stung by a bee and I immediately screamed out in pain and then quickly descended the ladder. What didn’t make sense was there was no bee’s nest in the bush, just a lone bee who decided to introduce itself to me in an aggressive way.

In my view this is where the story gets interesting. The fact is this exact same thing happened to me two weeks ago when I was trimming the same bush and I had asked for the same MBO. The ladder was in virtually the same spot, and I was trying to do the same darned thing I tried today – reaching across the top of the bush with the trimmers in one hand. At that time I got stung on the same arm in essentially the same place. In both instances my left arm swelled up in a big way. On Saturday evening as I reflected on the latest bee sting, the thought finally occurred to me that in both instances my Guardian Angel granted my MBO – I remained safe on the ladder and didn’t fall off. However, I truly believe that in order to accomplish the MBO the Angel called on a local bee to assist in meeting the request. The fact is, if a bee hadn’t stung me both times, it’s quite possible that my effort to reach across the top of the bush while using the trimmers one-handed and standing near the top of the ladder could have easily led to me falling and causing serious damage to myself (like falling on the clippers for example).

So, it’s my conclusion that the bee stings were actually blessings in disguise, and these experiences have finally taught me that taking such risk on the ladder is not something I’ll ever do again. While I’m certainly not enjoying the pain of the sting that is persisting, I have to admit that I do feel deeply grateful for the bee’s role in manifesting the MBO I requested, as things could have been a whole lot worse.

Yes, indeed, we do learn something new every day if we just remain open and willing.

MBO FOR JOB FOR SON

Colleen writes:  Hey– having learned about MBO from your newsletter (which someone sent me)  I decided to ask for one for my son who has been without
a permanent job for over 18 months.   Within ten days he had a strong interview for a lucrative position that had sixty-three applicants.  Within 48 hours he was confirmed as the man for the job.  Yes!  Much gratitude for the affirmative way this works.

If you have a loved one looking for a job you can say a Benevolent Prayer, which is what you say when you wish a Benevolent Outcome for someone else. As an example, you can say, “I ask any and all beings to aid and assist (name) in finding the most PERFECT work for (him/her), thank you!”

MBO’S IN PRISON

She asked me to change her name so Jill writes:  Your website is so cool! Love the map and especially the search engine.

Doing MBOs have become such a way of life that it’s become a normal part of my life, which I surmise may be the reason we fail to send in our MBO stories. I am a Correctional Officer at a prison. I sense that certain offenders with their crimes and want to do better. I have given the MBO statement to a couple of such offenders. I told them about your books as well. What I would love to give them is the Benevolent Prayer; however as a correctional officer, it’s against policy. Hopefully once the few that I tell begin using MBOs, they will spread the word.

Thank you again for your service to others.

In my first book I have suggested MBO requests for both correctional officers (I use the old term “prison guards”) and inmates.

A correctional officer could say each day, “I request a Most Benevolent Outcome for remaining safe in my job today, and to assist the inmates in their rehabilitation, thank you!”

An inmate could say, “I request a Most Benevolent Outcome for remaining safe today, thank you!” They can also request MBO’s each time they leave their area headed to prison work, the cafeteria, exercise area, etc.

BP’S FOR EARTHQUAKES, OIL LEAKS

Anytime you see something on TV, such as an accident, hurricane, earthquake, or even animals and birds caught up in the oil leak, you can ask for a Benevolent Outcome. As an example you could say, “I ask any and all beings to assist and aid all those beings affected by the oil leak, thank you!” That would include ALL BEINGS.

For an earthquake you could say, “I ask any and all being to aid and assist those trapped in the rubble of the earthquake in (location), thank you!” They could be saved by a human, a search dog, cat, bird, or even an angel that temporarily physically manifests.

MBO AT POST OFFICE & FOR PAST

She asked me to change her name so Laurie writes:  This morning on my way to the post office I requested an MBO for a quick and easy transaction there. When I arrived though 23 people were ahead of me so I just thought oh well…I guess it didn’t work this time.

After standing in line for no more than 2 minutes out of nowhere the smoke/fire alarm in the post office started blaring and they ordered everyone out of the building immediately. The people at the front of the line were upset considering they’d been waiting almost a half an hour to get their turn. But out we went and once outside we were told to stand away from the building and step into the parking lot itself. Since it’s 115 degrees here today everyone (including me) got in their cars and drove off. But when I was just half a block away, something told me to go back.

I did go back and no cars were left in the parking lot but I saw the employees just starting to re-enter the building. I drove right in, picked up my package and off I went. I never could have planned that one. 🙂

My second experience was quite meaningful and perhaps it might help others.

My husband died suddenly and unexpectedly at a young age. We had some issues that were never resolved and I had struggled for years after his death to come to terms with them. I decided it was time to forgive but I just couldn’t make it happen. So I decided to request a MBO for coming to a place of peace, understanding and healing for our relationship.

Later that day for no reason in particular I was looking through the books on my bookshelf. I pulled out a book about energy healing and randomly opened to a page and started reading. The energy healer who had written the book was telling about a couple about to split up because the husband was unfaithful. He felt that since he loved his wife and she knew it that his extramarital affairs should just be considered entertainment and have no effect on their marriage. He couldn’t understand what his wife’s problem was.

As the healer worked on him she saw that his heart chakra was almost totally closed down. She spoke with him about his childhood and discovered that his upbringing was filled with pain and in order to not feel the pain he closed down his heart chakra. But the problem was that as he got older it remained closed which left him unable to feel anybody else’s pain and a limited ability to give and receive true heartfelt love.

She also saw that his root chakra which has to do with sexuality was disconnected from his heart chakra so he couldn’t put the two together which made it difficult for his wife to feel close to him or enjoy their sexual relationship. He didn’t understand her feelings about this at all either.

My situation was not exactly the same but upon reading about this other man I thought about the painful upbringing my husband had endured and I suddenly was filled with compassion for him and then I felt all the anguish I had been feeling for so long disappear. This Most Benevolent Outcome was really more than I ever would have expected or imagined.

Thank you so much for sharing the MBO process.

Notice how “Laurie” listened to that “whisper in her ear” from her own Guardian Angel and returned to the post office.  Then another “whisper in her ear” led her to read a story which was very similar to her own.  That’s one of the things requesting MBO’s does for you.  You become more “aware” and are able to pick up those messages which are continually sent to you each day from your own GA.

MBO FOR STATE INSPECTION

Jan in Utah writes:  Was due to get my car licensed at the end of June which includes a safety inspection requirement. Two years ago when I had to do that, the technician at the garage doing my inspection almost didn’t pass it because my horn was too quiet. It works, but it isn’t nearly as loud as it is supposed to be. After quite a bit of arguing and my insistence that he allow me to have a highway patrol come and gauge the actual loudness in decibels, he finally agreed to let it pass with a notation that they recommended it be replaced.

This year on my way to get the inspection and license tags renewed, I said an MBO that my car pass the safety inspection with flying colors and that my licensing process be quick. It worked! The garage passed my car’s inspection without any mention of the quiet horn which I had not done anything about from the previous two years. On top of that I was in and out of Dept. of Motor Vehicles in less than 10 minutes!  Thanks Tom!

SIGNS & NAMES OF MY GA

This month I would like to delve more deeply into our relationship with our Guardian Angels by relating a couple of things my own Guardian Angel has told me during meditation.

I wish to cover a couple of emails I received from a nice lady.  I always feel there is a reason I receive these, either to have me think more deeply about a subject or as it relates to many of you.  She was looking for a “sign” from her Guardian Angel that it’s really there.  My response to her was that in the 10,000 to 15,000 times I’ve requested Benevolent Outcomes from my Guardian Angel, I never asked for a “sign.” The fact that events magically happen or come together is your sign that your Guardian Angel is there for you.  After this happens countless times, it is something that you absolutely know from personal experience—not because I’m telling you, but because you KNOW! I’ve said before that requesting Benevolent Outcomes makes you more spiritual—I just didn’t realize how much until I was on the road.  It’s a little like the Eagles’ song “The Seven Bridges Road.”  There’s a new experience as you cross each bridge.

My Guardian Angel tells me he doesn’t have a name that can be pronounced in our languages, as our vocal cords are not made to do so, so I settled on “Theo,” as I didn’t particularly wish to call him “GA”.   You can do the same, simply by saying out loud, “Guardian Angel, what name should I call you,” and then simply relax and let your mind wander and see what pops up.  It may take a couple of times of saying this, as you probably are not accustomed to listening to that “whisper in your ear” as Theo calls it.  They’re always trying to let you know they’re around, by doing such things as having a love song pop into your head as you awaken in the morning, or by having the same numbers pop up on a clock when you look at it.  Or in my case by having the same sets of room numbers assigned to me when I travel such as 104, 203, 302—all adding up to 5.

VISUALIZING & MBO’S

Richard Sutphen has interviewed me on his internet radio show “The Metaphysical World of Dick Sutphen” several times (next one is September 15, 2010 at www.Contacttalkradio.com).  One of the callers to the show was a lady who said she was reading my book, and asked if she could substitute “I visualize a Most Benevolent Outcome for…” instead of “I request a Most Benevolent Outcome for…” Richard and I both picked up on where this had come from—THE SECRET film.  These visualization techniques have been around over 30 years, and probably a lot longer.

I briefly explained to her that when you visualize something you wish to create in your life, it might not be the most benevolent outcome for you.  When you request it through your Guardian Angel, your own personal Angel will decide if this is best for you, and perhaps provide you with something even better than you could possibly think of.  That’s part of the great fun you will have in requesting benevolent outcomes.

I’ll give you a couple of examples.  If you visualize being in a certain job, perhaps you’ll get it, but be miserable for a multitude of reasons.  But if you request a MBO (as I call them) for the PERFECT JOB FOR YOU, then over days, weeks, months, or even a couple of years, things will begin happening for you to obtain that perfect job.  There may be another job you have to take that will set you up for the one you’ll love.  Someone may be working in that position that has to be promoted or leave the company in order for you to be hired.

It’s the same for finding a mate.  If you visualize a particular person or type person, you may wind up in a miserable relationship.  But if you request a Most Benevolent Outcome for the PERFECT MATE FOR YOU, then again, things will begin to occur that will result in meeting the perfect person to spend your life with.

Requesting Benevolent Outcomes keeps you on your “soul contract” (soul path) as my Guardian Angel Theo calls it, so you don’t go wandering off into no-man’s land.

SAYING BP’S AT AN ACCIDENT

Karen writes:  As Tobias (see Geoff Hoppe, channeler) has described, you are a Human Angel Assistant.  No question about it!  Thank you so much.

I wanted to tell you that I always told my children (now 16 and 26), and any child I was transporting, when we passed a car accident or an ambulance en route or on the scene, to send blessings for the best possible outcome for all parties involved.  The kids’ responses are beautiful — and I know powerful! — Earnest little faces sending blessings.  It never occurred to me to try the same for any and all other circumstances!

I am so delighted to learn your method to refine and waaaaay expand our requests.   Again, thank you so much.

(She also added later) Accident scenes and wailing alarms are distressing.  Children witnesses, being so open and sympathetic, leave feeling sad and helpless.  I’ve seen many children send accident scenes their blessings, and along with the real help we know it is to others, it instantly makes them feel better, too.  I think it is not only their knowing they contributed to helping others, but that it is the love sent out that immediately returns and comforts them.  How wonderful is that!

PARKING SPACE & SON

Eleanor writes:  Anyone that’s using MBO’s can absolutely not deny the proof of their reality.  Ever since I have been using them, one in particular ALWAYS works and that’ s a request for my usual parking space in the complex where I live that has 185 units where some residents have more than one car.  It always works, always, no matter when I return, my unassigned space is just waitin’ for me!  Thank you.

Another  request was for a very smooth experience during a necessary two week residency with my Son who has been very difficult.  That boy has been here one week and I don’t know who stole my other Son but his one is a keeper.  Thank you.

Requesting MBO’s does make life easier and less stressful.

I receive a number of emails from all over the world about requesting Benevolent Outcomes and asking what to request in specific instances.  For those of you reading about Benevolent Outcomes for the first time, these are specific requests FOR YOU that you say when you desire assistance from your Guardian Angel.

You can ask for a parking space near a busy restaurant or store.  As an example, recently my wife and I went to a press screening that was being screened in a theatre located in a busy shopping center.  I said, “I request a Most Benevolent Outcome for a parking place near the mall entrance, thank you!” (You always thank your Guardian Angel and say it with some emotion).  When we arrived, there was “my” parking space waiting for me at the end of the row nearest the mall entrance.  I recommend starting with these simple requests so that you get immediate feedback that these requests work.

When you know they work, then you can use them for more important things.  My wife and I decided that we wanted to “downsize” our home, as both our children have graduated from college.  My wife kept dragging me to see one house after another during the middle of our workday.  I started requesting a Benevolent Outcome to buy each house, as I knew that my Guardian Angel would not let me buy the wrong house after those requests. We even made an offer on one and someone paid the full asking price, which is almost unheard of in these down market times.  Finally, after this I said, “I request a Most Benevolent Outcome for the PERFECT HOUSE for us, thank you!” Naturally the next day she found the house and we were able to buy it at a great price, as the family had already moved to Atlanta.

In that same vein, Jacqui in Australia emailed to say that she was going to renew her lease on an apartment (or “flat” down under) in Melbourne and was really afraid they were going to increase the rent, as they had all been going up recently.  So she requested a MBO (as I call them) for the same rent as before. They renewed her lease with no increase!  She said that’s unheard of right now in Melbourne.

Linda, in the New York area, emailed several times really frightened because she was out of work.  I suggested several MBO requests to make, such as “I request a Most Benevolent Outcome for the PERFECT job for me, thank you,” and before interviews, “I request a Most Benevolent Outcome for this job interview, and may it go better than I can hope for or expect, thank you!” She emailed not long after to tell me she got the job she applied for.  It was right in her field of expertise in medical technical writing.

KEYS FOUND!

Jim writes:  A young waitress where I eat lunch frequently complained to me a couple of days ago, that she had lost the keys to her car and was desperate to find them.  I explained to her about the MBO’s and even suggested one she might use.  Today she said she found her keys within 2 hours of the MBO in her girl friend’s car which she had searched prior.

She is now a believer.

See how much stress the young lady was under until she found her keys?  Requesting MBO’s just makes life easier.

TRAVELING WITH YOUR GA

Daphnee in Vienna writes:  I traveled back home and requested an MBO and although the plane took off 1 hour later and could not catch up with the time, I managed to catch my connecting flight, without running and dragging a 3 year old behind me. I was the last person to board but I made it. I did encounter some difficulties as there was a line to re-enter the gate but I calmed down and trusted that all would be well.

Also during the transit, there was a big staircase I had to take and that very moment a nice man took my heavy cabin luggage for me and I was able to hold Ninna’s hand to go down the stairs. And my suitcases arrived with me in Vienna and they were among the first ones, besides I passed customs without being stopped even though I had 3 large suitcases. So I considered that me asking for a safe and smooth trip all the way to my final destination worked perfectly and I was even given the opportunity to learn to trust even if there had seemed to be small difficulties.

Here’s a thought or two that may be of interest: I like to do a “Thank You” to my GA and all the Benevolent Beings at the end of the day. Since I use MBO’s daily, that little extra thought just seems right to me. Let them know that the love really does go both ways! Also, I watch the evening news daily and as we know it’s not all positive so I just start lining up the Benevolent Prayers. Or just whenever I see something that touches me.

I think that it’s just a part of gratitude and love to make a “habit” of spreading more light into the world.  Cheers!

Welcome to this week’s edition of my Benevolent Outcomes Blog, and welcome to everyone who subscribed in the past week.  This Blog is for people just discovering how to use a very simple, yet powerful and effective spiritual tool you can use every day the rest of your life.  It will lessen the stress and fear of life in general, and will make your life easier.  It’s so simple a lot of people say “It can’t be this easy,” but it is, because IT WORKS! This reconnects you with your Guardian Angel, or higher power, or whatever your belief is. You simply say, “I request a Most Benevolent Outcome for…….., thank you!”

MBO’S IN PRAGUE

Galimir in Prague writes:  Thank you Tom for providing such a cool tool for all of us!I have been diligently saying MBO’s (MBO’s for the day for me, my wife and our relationship, plus “I am expecting great things” formula; also different MBOs through the day, specific purpose-oriented) every single day of my life the last almost an year now and I must say that is one of my major tools for transformation…Thank you!”

Galimir is referring to the Sign you can print out by going to the website and clicking on SIGNS.  There is also one that says, “REQUEST BENEVOLENT OUTCOMES TODAY,” which helps you make requesting MBO’s a daily habit.  Print out several of those and put in the bathroom, on the fridge, and in the car.

SMOOTH MOVE

Catherine on Facebook writes:  Tom–Thanks so much for all you do!  I am a new subscriber and I just read my first issue of your newsletter.  I used the MBOs on my very recent move (my first experience with MBOs)  Results were stupendous!  I was very efficient/effective and best outcomes were achieved.  Physical issues (back pain) was minimal.  I cleared out and settled in very satisfactory way.  Next time I will ask for it to be F U N also!  God bless.

MBO’S WORK FOR NEW JOB

Annette writes:  My life has become very “active” so to speak, and some days I am so busy I don’t know if I found a rope or lost a horse. But…it is all a blessing – in so many ways there is not enough time to tell you about. This you can share with the use of my name. Maybe it will help people not to become discouraged if things don’t “happen” the way they “think” they will or in the way they “think” they want.

All of our staff knew we were losing our funding and our jobs would end several month ahead of time. I requested a MBO for finding a job and a MBO for finding a way to manage my finances so I could keep my home. They were as follows. ” I request a MBO for finding the job for me and may the outcome be better than I could hope for or anticipate. Thanks you” and “I request a MBO and guidance to ensure I have enough income to pay my mortgage and car payments until I can find a job. May the outcome be better than I could hope for or anticipate.”

When the last day came I was the only one not upset, panicked or “freaking out” because I knew – deep in my heart – I knew that my GA had my back. Yes, I had been frustrated, as I had applied for over 44 jobs at the University where I worked and only got called for 3 interviews. Each job I KNEW I was perfect for, but  I was not hired. But I had faith and knew I would be guided after all; I was able have the time and had the guidance to set aside enough money to make certain we could pay the mortgage and our car payments for 6 months while we lived on my husbands pay and my unemployment. I was out of work for 77 days and am now in the job I have prepared for all my life. My GA guided me to THE job for me and the outcome has been better than I could have ever imagined, dreamed of or hoped for, let alone anticipate – LOL!!

Things may not happen exactly the way we expect – but they do happen when you build that relationship with you GA. Thank you for sharing the information in your books and newsletters.

CAN YOU REQUEST MULTIPLE MBO’S?

Diane writes:  Can you please clear something up for me when it comes to MBO?

Would it be confusing to my angels if I requested a few things right after each other?  Example:  MBO for a good, calm, happy day!  Then after that an MBO for a good rate for getting my car fixed as soon as possible.  Then requesting an MBO for my husband to calm down and be happy.

Or should one just stick with an MBO say within an hour???  Not sure about this………but I do know that my MBO’s work on short term…..long term….still waiting.

I requested to find my lens for my camera about two weeks ago, and when I would
think about it I would request again….but then forgot about it.  My lens showed itself the other day……so I do know that some MBO’s just take a little longer than others.

For Diane and everyone else.  Keep in mind that there is no time “on the other side”, so your Guardian Angel can handle any number of MBO requests you make and literally a million others from its other “clients” all at the same time.

My Guardian Angel Theo says humans are very impatient.  You have to give MBO’s time to manifest.  My daughter couldn’t find her backup contact lens last week she had just picked up and was leaving for Indianapolis on a business trip.  She said she had requested a MBO, but no lens.  When she returned she found them in a pocket in her camera bag.  At least she found them!

MBO’S FOR RELATIONSHIP, MONEY

She asked me to change her name so Stella writes:  I have thought about writing to you many times, but I promised myself last evening that I would finally do it!  First I want to thank you for all you do.  It is unusual for me to find spiritual guidance that really resonates with me.  My heart has always told me that miracles and wishes should be gotten by simply asking – not performing complicated rituals only – although fulfilling for some, I don’t want nor need the pomp and circumstance.  So to find your site, newsletter, articles and books has been not only reaffirming but enlightening and has helped me see miracle after miracle!

I was introduced to MBO’s through the Sedona Journal of Emergence and thought it was too good to be true.  So I started to test it out on little things like parking as you suggested, and of course I quickly became a believer!!!!!!!!!  I now say MBO’s several times a day and expect positive results each time (mostly – I have had trouble with one in particular – see below) .  I try to pass this gem on to as many people as I can, especially those in immediate need.  I have so many success stories, but I will share the two that have impacted me the most!

Dissolving Anger
I was with my 2 yr old son visiting his father (we are no longer together) in another country over Christmas for about 3 months.  I was extremely anxious about this extended trip because, without getting into too many details, he has a very frightening temper which can come on with little warning.  Every morning I requested an MBO for our communications to be based on Love, Respect, Understanding, Patience, Kindness, Compassion, Loyalty, Support and Joy – and I would repeat this to myself when I felt his mood change and I am telling you right now, this was miraculous – his face and voice would change instantly!!!!   I had spent 7 years in a very bad and painful relationship and had never seen him stop once he began his dark moments and yet here I was with this little, yet very powerful phrase creating positivity and peace for all three of us.  THANK YOU!

Scholarships and Money
My sister and her family have been having a very difficult time financially.  They were not able to have their children return to the private school they had always attended.  However this year, armed with MBO’s my sister decided to apply for scholarships for both her kids.  Both were awarded scholarships!!!!  But there still remained the item of the outstanding balance from the year before – so another MBO later the school agreed to apply the awarded funds to the previous year’s tuition.  That still left quite a hefty balance to be brought up to date for the beginning of the school year.  So together, we requested an MBO for free and clear money to be able to put towards the school fees! Well, you will never guess – an inheritance from a distant relative came in JUST IN TIME to help pay down the fees!  The idea was to NOT borrow the money but instead have it for free –  and VOILA!

So I know MBO’s work,  I know my Angels are with me always – I can ask for a hug and I get the most warm and loving physical hug around my heart.  But why can I not find a job – I have been requesting this for months now!!!!!!!  I ask for the perfect job, better than I could possibly imagine  – and as a single mother I really really need to provide for my son, plus I know my ego has taken a big hit!  My previous career was with my son’s father and although I still want to help him succeed – I want my own road.  I have a tendency to be the VP not the Pres – give away my power. I had an enlightening dream the other night after requesting an MBO and I think it was to show me how I need to have more confidence in myself and to rely on myself and not a “father figure”.  I am trying to step out on my own, but with no results…  Can you perhaps ask THEO why I am not having any luck – I have sent resume after resume – even to the jobs I really didnt want and I was overqualified for.  Please – is there hope?  Why won’t this MBO happen for me?

Perhaps your GA is whispering in your ear to take a course or two in management?  Also, I think Dick Sutphen has a book on asserting your power.  You might look on his website to see if he is selling it (www.DickSutphen.com) or on Amazon.

Each time you go out, you might also request a MBO to meet someone who needs to fill a job.  And if you apply for a job you’re overqualified for, drop off or reduce down your qualifications.  One on a new job you might be quickly promoted from within, which is how a lot of companies like to work.

I receive a lot of emails from people out of work, and I can tell you my own business has really suffered this year.  It’s a world wide economic recession.  People can’t hire if they aren’t receiving orders.  So it’s not you!  You have to remember that.

Take whatever job you can to pay bills and wait for sunnier days.  When I was starting my first business I did all sorts of extra jobs–selling insurance, townhomes, keys and knives, newspaper advertising, just to name a few.  Have you considered going to garage sales and buying at $.05 on the dollar and selling at $.25?  Lots of people do that and make a very decent living.  They had a story on TV recently about a guy in Dallas that would go to a liquidator store and buy new electronic stuff and resell at a nice profit on Ebay.

I hope this gives you some ideas.
