MBOs FOR PART IN MUSIC VIDEO<\/span><\/h3>\n

Peggy writes from Ypsilanti Michigan:<\/span>\u00a0 Hello, Tom!\u00a0 I’d like to share how MBO’s<\/span> and angelic assistants helped me to enjoy an amazing experience that I’ll never forget!<\/span>
\n\u00a0<\/span>
\nMy best friend called a few days ago to invite me to go with her on Saturday, January 16 and be an extra for the filming of a music video for country singer Justin Tranchita.\u00a0 Of course I said YES, and started requesting MBO’s as soon as I hung up the phone!<\/span><\/span>
\n\u00a0<\/span>
\nBecause dangerous road conditions were expected,<\/span> my first MBO was for safe travel for everyone involved.<\/span>\u00a0 I thanked and blessed the building (a 100-year-old church) where the video would be filmed; and asked for the space to be filled with positive, loving energy that would help everyone (including me) to do their best.\u00a0 I asked for help to find the vintage costume items my friend and I needed \u2013 in less than two days \u2013 and for angelic nudges to remind me to move around when necessary to relieve my lower back pain, and to keep hydrated and watch my blood sugar.<\/span><\/span>
\n\u00a0<\/span>
\nDuring the night before the shoot, I woke up to sleet rattling on the windows; but the roads were clear and dry the next morning!\u00a0 My friend and I reached the church early, and the whole day moved along quite smoothly.\u00a0 Everyone was amazingly patient and good-natured about the frequent re-takes, long stretches of waiting for things to happen, and other routine elements of shooting a film.\u00a0 My friend and I (dressed in our thrift-shop costumes as senior 1960’s Church Ladies) were in the second row right behind where Justin sat for this particular scene.\u00a0 Plus, we were asked to stay the rest of the afternoon to fill out the big final scene. <\/span>

\nMBO FOR SAVINGS<\/span><\/h3>\n

Kate writes:\u00a0<\/span> I had done a general MBO and also one for improved finances.<\/span> I had to go to an internet cafe since my old laptop is on its last legs. I was not keen on paying about $6.50 per hour to do so and was trying to decide to do a half hour or an hour since I had a lot of work to accomplish. As soon as I sat down, a woman came up to me and said, “Go ahead take that computer, I just have to sign off, I am done, but I didn’t use all the time so here is $3 for an extra half hour since they have a minimum.”<\/span><\/h3>\n

MBO FOR DRIVE HOME IN SNOW<\/span><\/h3>\n

Like the other night here in on the East Coast we got some snow that really messed up traffic I made my MBO for a safe trip home and got home safe,<\/span> and while lots of others were having problems, my little car worked through the traffic even though it took me 41\/2 hours to get home. MBO FOR LOST JEWELRY IN MOVE<\/span><\/h3>\n

Alice writes:\u00a0<\/span> I have an MBO story for you that I hadn\u2019t wanted to share;<\/span> grin!! But it is too poignant and serious not to.\u00a0\u00a0 I had moved to a new area, with way too much stuff!\u00a0 Many helped load the truck, cars, minivans and such and then on the other end the same.\u00a0 All welcomed and appreciated.\u00a0\u00a0 Many helping to unload, place furniture and books, on and on.\u00a0 Loads of books.\u00a0\u00a0 I had a fake book with jewelry and gold in it\u2014 a lot of it! \u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n

About three weeks after the move I realized I could not recall seeing that book??\u00a0 I searched and searched, and just knew I had apparently taken it out of town with me over Thanksgiving.\u00a0 Christmas I returned knowing I would find that book in my relative\u2019s guest bedroom. No.\u00a0 Not that.<\/span><\/h3>\n

Now it\u2019s a month later and I have searched the new house high and low.\u00a0 You can well imagine the possibilities that went through my mind.\u00a0 I searched again: every closet, drawer, behind rows and rows of books, everywhere, I do mean everywhere.\u00a0 No sign of it. \u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n

By the third time of doing this intense search, including the garage, car, storage building\u2014<\/span>I\u2019ve hit a level of stoicism that is gut wrenching.\u00a0 One of your newsletters came\u2014 what the heck\u2014 an MBO wouldn\u2019t hurt.\u00a0 So I sat with crafting that, thinking about it, fully intent on just having no expectation yet fully anticipating a positive outcome.\u00a0<\/span> I cleared the root brain chatter in my head, that squirrel-caging we all do\u2014 and settled in to review new email.<\/span><\/h3>\n

I was nudged to check my dowsing one more time; it said kitchen-living room more likely.\u00a0\u00a0 I didn\u2019t question I just went to the living room area, dropped to the floor and checked out <\/span>a storage container\u00a0 \u2014one more time!!\u00a0 I had checked it before, believe me!!\u00a0 Lifting out a couple lap throws my hands fell upon that book, knew it was The Book, for it had a rubber band around it.\u00a0 Whaaaaalahhhh, FOUND!\u00a0 \u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/h3>\n

To this day, 2 weeks later, I shake my head in disbelief?\u00a0\u00a0 I had even used that storage spot for TV stuff, had been in and out of it a few times.\u00a0\u00a0 An MBO believer?\u00a0 You betcha!!\u00a0\u00a0 I like doing MBOs when I leave home<\/span> \u2014 I\u2019m with the folks who talked about that in this week\u2019s column.\u00a0 Great work and more!!<\/span><\/h3>\n
