MBO FOR IMPROVED FINANCES<\/span><\/h3>\n

Rick writes:\u00a0 My disability w\/Social Security is under review…standard after a certain length of time. I wrote out on an index card (which is in my peripheral vision as I type) a MBO for improved financial stability and the continuation of my benefits.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/h3>\n

This morning I checked my bank account, which I do daily and found a deposit for an uncashed check in my savings, where I never keep a balance. I called the credit union and they did a check. It turns out my health insurer sent back a check from 2012 for what must have been an overpayment. Not much, $84.70. But, it helps pay for an overnight trip on Wednesday to Wilkes-Barre, PA to see a friend in a road tour of Green Day’s ” American Idiot”. Also taking my mom to a nearby town where her grandparents lived and are buried.<\/span><\/h3>\n

MBO FOR MISPLACED PENDANT<\/span><\/h3>\n

Sandy writes:\u00a0 I misplaced my Lifeline Pendant and I did an MBO to find it within a few moments;<\/span> the sucker turned up in my pocket!<\/span><\/span><\/h3>\n

MBO FOR SURGERY<\/span><\/h3>\n

Bob writes: I shared the following information on Facebook regarding my gastric bypass surgery.\u00a0 It was a long process of various medical decisions that have been in the works for about ten to twelve years.\u00a0 I posted this to let the many people I know to be aware of what was going on.\u00a0 One of the people to comment on my link was Tom.\u00a0 He said an MBO for me.\u00a0<\/span> And since this is a MBO site, I will share the MBO my friend in St. Louis and I said aloud on the morning of my surgery.<\/span><\/span><\/h3>\n

The requested MBO:\u00a0 I ask any and all beings to help me have a Most Benevolent Outcome for mt surgery today. May I have the best surgeons, doctors, and nurses looking after me and may the outcome be even better than I hope for or expect. Thank you.<\/span><\/span><\/h3>\n

My Hospital Experience:\u00a0 After 3 hours of surgery, I was in my room by noon and all settled by one pm.\u00a0 I ended up taking a small nap, then the nurses explained how I needed to walk and use the ventilator to clear my lungs and all of the things I needed to do.\u00a0 I was determined to be part of the process, so did what was asked of me.<\/span><\/h3>\n

I know that my MBO was said for health reasons, but the room I was in was like being in a fancy Hotel.\u00a0 I was on the fifth floor of a beautifully decorated hospital, facing the Cascade Mountains.\u00a0 The window was 8 feet high and 16 feet wide.\u00a0 The shades were pulled all the way up to the ceiling.\u00a0 On Tuesday morning, I was awake at 5 am, so quietly read my book, until the sunrise appeared.\u00a0 It ended up a battle as to which was better, Tuesday\u2019s or Wednesday\u2019s sunrise.\u00a0 Even the nurses made a point to be in my room as the sun rose.<\/span><\/h3>\n

On Wednesday, it was evident at 6 am that I would be going home.\u00a0 Each of the night shift nurses stopped in to say their good byes before end of shift.\u00a0 A very nice older Japanese nurse came in by herself to let me know that I had been Number One A+ Patient.\u00a0 I was so pleased with her words.\u00a0 I hadn\u2019t heard the phrase \u201cNumber one A+\u201d used since I left a Japanese\/Chinese community I had lived in in San Diego in the late 70\u201ds.<\/span><\/h3>\n

The Facebook entry:\u00a0 Will share the following, just so it is out there, etc. As you may or may not know, I had polio as a child, from the vaccine sugar cube. My life has been a constant ‘medical adventure”. Due to the type of polio I exhaust easy, so the big exercise merry go round has never been my friend. I spent a year and a half in the late 80’s doing bed rest. In 1991 I quit smoking, and then during the two year period it took me to develop a non-asshole personality, I gained a hundred pounds. Since that time, it has been a constant struggle of diets that did the normal ying yang.<\/span><\/h3>\n

Ten years ago, we did baseline tests on my legs and circulatory system to document the polio deterioration. I was told if certain things started to happen, then I had to do particular actions to stop the damage, etc. Last fall, I entered the ‘no more grace period”.\u00a0 Last Monday, I had a gastric bypass, which will stop 95 percent of what is going on. The operation went without a hitch. I was in the hospital until Wednesday and am at home.<\/span><\/h3>\n

Things are going fine. I am already off of all diabetic meds and insulin; as well as my blood pressure meds. It is expected in the next few weeks that all but one of my remaining meds will go away. So all is good. With the pre surgery diet and up to today, I have dropped 30 lbs and expect to lose a lot more over the summer.<\/span><\/h3>\n

MBO FOR ASSISTANCE<\/span><\/h3>\n

Merri writes:\u00a0 I requested an MBO from a relative deceased called Nicholas<\/span> on the night of the 20th February 2014 in relation to the UK specialists to help me work out where a particular DNA comes from – my mum or my dad – and if its connected to a particular Russian DNA family. I had been trying for over 10 years to get this unveiled via my family here in Australia and the UK – with no success, just brick walls or so it would seem. A week later, on the 27th February 2014, totally unexpected I received an email from someone higher up called Dorota offering help and they are also organizing everything to do with collection.<\/span><\/span><\/h3>\n

BP FOR HOMELESS & MBO FOR RENTAL<\/span><\/h3>\n

Jen writes:\u00a0 I was sitting in a food court today in a mall eating my lunch.\u00a0 There was a homeless lady at the table next to me who was sleeping while sitting up.\u00a0 It was obvious that she was homeless and facing challenges so I said a BP for her.<\/span>\u00a0 Within 2-3 minutes, a young man came over to her, woke her up and handed her $30.\u00a0 The timing was extraordinary and gave me chills.\u00a0 I felt like that BP really had some power.<\/span><\/h3>\n

This is a second story that I have wondered whether I should send you.\u00a0 My husband and I got a rental car for a few days back in October where I was doing some training for a new job.\u00a0 While I was driving it, I ran over a stick on the side of the road that was deceptively large.\u00a0 It pivoted around and struck the horizontal panel on the car that is below the passenger side door.\u00a0 There was some minor damage there, but we were sure that we were looking at a bill from the rental company or even an insurance claim.<\/span><\/h3>\n

My husband and I both began saying MBOs for the rental car return.<\/span> Despite my husband photographing the damage at the rental car inspection, the representative gave us a clean inspection report and we haven’t heard from them since.\u00a0 The reason I’ve struggled with sending you that rests in my own moral dilemma about whether we should have been up front about the damage instead of staying quiet.\u00a0 I am grateful for the benevolent outcome but that internal conflict remains.\u00a0 Thought I’d share it with you anyway, because it had that sort of magical feeling to it like that it was a divine\/angelic intervention of some sort.\u00a0 What do you think about that one?<\/span><\/h3>\n

I know when I\u2019ve rented cars they always talk about normal road damage as not being on the list of having to pay for repairs, so I must assume that was the case here.\u00a0\u00a0 When you request a MBO it most be benevolent for everyone affected by the request,<\/span> so that\u2019s another point to consider.<\/span><\/h3>\n
