A REMEMBRANCE OF JFK<\/span><\/p>\n

Just a little remembrance of President John F. Kennedy. On the day he was assassinated my Dad happened to be in Dallas and was run off the road by the President’s motorcade rushing to Parkland Hospital. I learned about it as I came out of a marketing class at TCU. The church bell on campus began pealing, and I returned back to my dorm room and wrote the following poem:<\/span><\/p>\n

THE BELL TOLLS<\/span><\/p>\n

The Bell tolls the news we dread<\/span>
\nOur great President is dead<\/span>
\nCut down by an unseen hand<\/span>
\nDark is the day, in this land<\/span>
\nSad is the sound of the bell<\/span>
\nMourning the one who fell<\/span>
\nSoftly the bell confirms our fears<\/span>
\nAnd now, we shed our tears.<\/span>

MBO FOR MONEY TO ARRIVE<\/span><\/p>\n

Rick writes:\u00a0 Last week I wrote out an MBO on an index card asking for a return of monies that were taken from my illegally or by mistake.<\/span> Today I received a disbursement check from the federal government from a credit repair fraud case. Now, I knew this check was coming. I jokingly would tell people it would be for $50. It was for nearly $2500. Just waiting for the MBO to continue on to a medical billing error and a practicing law without a license case that I filed in Michigan to come to fruition.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

MBO FOR FLIGHT TO LONDON<\/span><\/p>\n

Arthur writes:\u00a0 Hi Tom, for my flight to NY from London, I said several MBOs as follows: a safe uneventful trip to the airport, and as the driver was late I asked for a time compression so I would be on time to check in.<\/span> That worked beautifully. Next a MBO for a smooth path through check in and security; could not be better.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
\nThen a MBO for a safe flight and may the crew and other passengers be better than I could hope for. Then from leaving the aircraft to getting in a cab, twenty minutes.<\/span> Beautiful, thanks Tom, MBOs work every time.<\/span><\/p>\n

MBO FOR EXTERNAL HARD DRIVE<\/span><\/p>\n

Sandy writes:\u00a0 I said an MBO that my external DVD drive arrive with out problems and will work well.<\/span> The DVD drive works like a charm and arrived without problems.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

MBO FOR PRINTER TO WORK<\/span><\/p>\n

Cheryl writes:\u00a0 My finicky old printer doesn’t want to feed the paper half the time, so I finally thought to say an MBO BEFORE I push “print” for each sheet, and so far it’s worked every time!<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

MBO FOR INTERNET REPAIR<\/span><\/p>\n

Renee writes:\u00a0 On Monday my Internet wasn’t working. I work from home and NEED the Internet to work. Hubby called our provider and they said they would have someone out on Friday, possibly Thursday. Tuesday morning it was still out. I requested an MBO.<\/span> No sooner did I say it, my phone rang. It was the phone company technician telling me he would be at my house in 15 minutes. He got here, did a few things … and I had Internet!<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
