\u00a0MBO TO FIND LOST CROCHET HOOK CASE<\/span><\/h3>\n

Cyd writes:\u00a0<\/span> Over the last 15 -20 years, I have been collecting a set of crochet hooks, I even bought them a case.\u00a0 I started a new project for a gift. When I began the project a couple of weeks ago, I went for my case to find the perfect hook to use. My case which I normally keep in my yarn basket was gone! I have been looking for that case for weeks.<\/span>
\n\u00a0<\/span>
\nTonight while crocheting it suddenly dawned on me to say an MBO. I have no idea why it took so long for me to ask.\u00a0 So, in the middle of a stitch I just dropped the blanket in my lap and asked out loud to be able to find it.<\/span> 10 minutes later I picked up another case for my embroidery thread and there it was.\u00a0 My crochet hook case!\u00a0 I have no idea how it got in there, but I am so thankful! Thank you GA and thank you Tom!<\/span><\/h3>\n

MBO FOR PLEASANT LUNCH<\/span><\/h3>\n

Raymond writes:\u00a0<\/span> I had a late lunch Friday afternoon around 3:00.\u00a0 I was hoping that things would go well for me as I approached my favorite sandwich shop.<\/span><\/h3>\n

I thought about MBO’s, so I made a quick request for a nice meal and pleasant service.\u00a0 I also threw in a quick prayer asking God to help the homeless, children and anyone who cannot take care of themselves.\u00a0 And I asked that I would be able to make someone’s day brighter even if all I could do was give them a smile or a pleasant reply.\u00a0 Then, I asked that the results of my lunch have a benevolent outcome and be better than I expected. <\/span><\/h3>\n

I reached the restaurant and there was no one in front of me in line and I thought that this was going to be easy.\u00a0 But, I was unaware that they had a rookie cooking in the kitchen and I had to wait about fifteen minutes for my sandwich.\u00a0 There were a couple of other tables that had to wait just as long as I did, so I was not alone.\u00a0 I grew impatient and thought they may have forgotten me and all of a sudden a waitress came by and asked me if I was the one that ordered the BLT.<\/span><\/h3>\n

She said it was ‘coming right up’.\u00a0 She seemed genuinely concerned about my long wait. Then she asked me if I would like a blueberry pastry while I waited, at no expense to me. Considering the hunger pains that were rolling in my stomach and my insatiable desire for sweets, I quickly accepted her courtesy.\u00a0 As soon as I received the pastry, I received my sandwich.\u00a0 The sandwich was good and the free pastry made it taste even better.<\/span><\/h3>\n

Sometimes, when you allow someone to do something nice for you; they get as much out of the experience as you do. I think she felt bad about my long wait and felt good about giving me the pastry.\u00a0 I left the restaurant and about thirty minutes later it occurred to me that my experience could have been related to the MBO.\u00a0 It was better than I expected and there was a benevolent outcome for myself and the waitress.\u00a0\u00a0 MBO’s work !\u00a0 I just thought I would share.<\/span><\/h3>\n

BP FOR TEACHER & COUNSELORS MEETING<\/span><\/h3>\n

Eileen has a special needs child and wrote that she was going to have a meeting with the principal of the school, teachers and counselors about her son.\u00a0 I suggested a Benevolent Prayer (BP) to say out loud for the results of the meeting to be even better than she could hope for or expect. \u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/h3>\n

Eileen writes from Ireland:<\/span>\u00a0 I had a most successful meeting with the school today. It went far better than I could have hoped or expected. I was extremely calm. I said my Benevolent Prayer before going in and I surprised myself how calm my delivery of information was and also being able to say everything I needed to say and pass my message on.<\/span><\/span><\/h3>\n

MBOs FOR HEALTH AND SAFETY<\/span><\/h3>\n

Jim writes from Florida:<\/span> I’m 89 now but I feel like I am still 65 thanks to MBO’s.<\/span><\/h3>\n

I use MBO’s for health, safety and get along with everyone.\u00a0<\/span> It has really paid off over the years.\u00a0 So many people forget the “small” people, those who bag your groceries, etc., so I make it a point of speaking to them all and asking about their families, kids and so forth.\u00a0 Now when I go into a restaurant or store, they greet me my name and I them.\u00a0 It’s a great life and thank you for all you do.<\/span><\/h3>\n
